House Hunters International - General Discussion
NoReally replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in House Hunters International
I wondered about that, too. Isn't there an alternative to cycling year-round? No buses? No trains? -
So Bailey gives the interns a list of procedures they need to check off in order to proceed with their training. Then she gets pissed that they're concentrating more on their lists than the patients. Okay then.

"Wing job" cracked me up!

Last night I watched "Troubled Waters," set on a cruise to Mexico, in which Robert Vaughn constructs an incredibly elaborate plan to shoot his girlfriend and frame a musician for the murder. They're on a ship! Why couldn't he come up with a simpler plan to just push her overboard? Still, Columbo dismissing the obvious "clues" planted by Vaughn and concentrating on tiny discrepancies made this episode a good one. And seeing Columbo in a Hawaiin shirt was worth the price of admission.

The "bird" running into the window had me laughing so hard I scared my dog.

One thing I did not need was another Tayo appearance. I can't stand him. -

Yes, he volunteered for the RAF. He wanted to be a pilot. -

I'll be very disappointed if Missy doesn't get her own show. -

Season 10: Penn & Teller and Brooke Burke

I wonder about that, too. In light of some of the photos they showed with Teller and Moxie, I'd say the P&T relationship is closer than Penn suggests. But, who knows? -
Season 10: Penn & Teller and Brooke Burke
NoReally replied to theatremouse's topic in Penn And Teller: Fool Us
I thought the segment with Penn's offspring, Moxie, was fantastic. At first I thought it was all a setup, but after watching a second time, I'm convinced he was really surprised to see them there. And Moxie did a great job! Not surprising, since they've grown up with magic, and assisted the old man on stage many times, as well as performing on their own. I think Moxie really did fool the guys, too. -
"I live here now." Talk about creepy!

House Hunters International - General Discussion

Did they ever say why they couldn't get a car? If it were me, I'd want one, if nothing else to spend some time exploring on weekends. -
I've been wondering about this, too. Although, she is a well-established psychiatrist, and I'm sure Wendy checked out her background. Doesn't seem that Mayer would risk her career by revealing patient secrets. But...this show?

Just to help shed some light on this (I'm an automotive writer): It's not supposed to literally "be" a bowtie. It's just "called" a bowtie. So I guess whether the question was right or wrong depends on how the answer was originally phrased (which I don't remember).

Yes! This is what I hoped was going to happen.

I'm not going to miss librarian Judy Greer.

Holmes Family Rescue - General Discussion
NoReally replied to LittleIggy's topic in Holmes Family Rescue
Seriously! That's the worst I've ever seen on the Holmes shows. -
Is it even remotely possible that Mayim is pausing for dramatic effect? (Because, you know, actor.) I don't really think so, but I can't come up with another reason for the annoying pauses.
-
Definitely! I'm still trying to understand how and why the judge changed his original sentences after the fact. Is that legal? And why did he do it? Political pressure, I assume. But in any case, he clearly went against the jury's wishes.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion here of the sequel. I've been watching, and it's pretty good.

I laughed so hard at this, I scared my dog.
