I wonder the same thing! I will watch Hot Topics, maybe the guest, if I'm interested, but I always ALWAYS change the channel when the products sales pitch segment comes on.

Thank you, meowmommy (love your name!) but I'm on a lap top where I move my fingers around to move the arrow. When I tried this, I couldn't get it to work.

I know!! Lol. And I have heard that before, as you probably have, too. And by 'heard', I mean by talking heads on television, who should know better. Whenever I hear things like that, I say to Mr. Rain, "Well, obviously he/she didn't go to ********Junior High". I honestly got the best damn education in my town's junior high. English grammar; sentence structure; creative writing; Ancient History; Civics. And at that age, I was still interested in actual learning, instead of the party scene of high school.

She was probably doodling pictures of guns and Jack Daniels bottles during English class.

Chris Matthews is becoming the crankiest old man on TV. He's full of himself and his supposed importance and wisdom, and he's completely devoid of any self-deprecating humor. I was half expecting him to bark back at Barnicle, which you know he wanted to. I think the only reason he didn't was because he realized this wasn't his show to control. I do not think he will give up the anchor chair willingly; I often wonder how TPTB would ever get rid of him, should they ever decide to. I picture him chaining himself to his desk, blabbing and interrupting, spittle flying everywhere. Sorry. I used to be a fan, but he's just become insufferable. It's bad enough to have him on in the evening......but the morning, too???? Isn't having to endure Joe and Meek-a punishment enough??

There was talk of trump wanting her to run for governor of Arkansas. That little tidbit elicited some giggles and groans in the audience.

I didn't go to college at all. But we were taught sentence structure in the 8th grade. I don't think they teach anything remotely like that at all today, and it shows.

What college did Nutty go to, again? Because she just said "It was me and my husband's decision...... " Seriously? I'm no English major, but shouldn't it have been "It was my husband's and my decision...." ? I know this is probably nit-picky, but she's so quick to tout herself and her education and how smart and tough she is, it makes me happy inside to take her down a peg or two.

    Morning Joe: All Episodes Talk

How can Meek-a sit there practically mute as all the menfolk discuss world affairs and foreign policy, as she did this morning? (And does every day, actually). Did she learn nothing sitting around the family dinner table in her formative years, considering her father's career?? I find it ironic and sad that she, of all people, is the spokeswoman for KYV. In my head she is the 2019 version of June Cleaver, in her house-dress and pearls, setting Ward's dinner plate in front of him and gazing with rapt attention and he commandeers the mealtime conversation. What is puzzling is why so many smarter, stronger and genuinely self-confident women take part in her little 'conferences', or whatever she calls them. I imagine them making fun of her behind her back.

I love me some Kevin Bacon. He may not be classically handsome, but he sure is sexy. And that voice...........like like buttered honey. 💕

    S17.E14: Finale

It's so enjoyable to come here and celebrate together after such a welcome outcome. So many times we've come together after the finale to throw virtual barware (sorry; a GH reference) because we've hated the judges' decision so much, I think Karlie and Christian are valuable assets to Project Runway.

I love this comment. It sums up so many previous seasons vs. this one. ✌️ Hee. I forgot to even look for her. She was probably off sulking somewhere.

Apparently I can't stop posting about this season's outcome, I'm so thrilled with it! So many times I've been disappointed or even outraged, that this feels really really good. I wasn't watching during Christian's season; could someone please give me a quick synopsis of his designs that year? Was his win a popular decision? He seems like such a nice guy. I love the vibe of this year's 'cast': Christian, Karlie, Brandon, Elaine. Even Nina!

I don't know how old you are, but I know I am, and NO, I never thought I'd see this and am so glad I'm still standing to be a witness to it all. I love that aspect of PR, the celebration of diversity and individuality. This was a great season. And, Tess aside, no drama! I'm still in recovery after The Twins debacle.

What is the general consensus here on Karlie as 'show host'? I like her, and quite honestly, thought Heidi was getting a little stale. Karlie seems more warm ...... or something ..... and I love when they pair her up standing right next to Christian. It's hilariously cute.

He made a remark about more designers to come. I took that to mean next season, but who knows. Maybe there's something else in the works. (Sorry - this is in reply to ML89's question).

I think Hester was in shock; I got an "I've got this in the bag" vibe from her the whole show. Her collection belonged in Cirque du Soleil (sp). YMMV I am thrilled that Sebastian won; he seemed genuinely appreciative and emotional, and yes, he does embody the American dream. I haven't followed the show as closely as some of you, unfortunately, but I recall numerous seasons when I swore I'd never watch again when the most hideous collection won. But after this result tonight, I will definitely be back for more! Oh, and I love Christian as a mentor.

For the comic relief? It's always nice to start the day with a derogatory belly laugh.

What is the holy hell is Nutmeg wearing?!?!?!? That dress is beyond atrocious, and even skinny minny Sunny would look big as a house in it. This is proof positive that wardrobe loathes Nutty as much as we do, and also that she herself has not an ounce of self-awareness. No one should be wearing that monstrosity, much less MM.

I know! When I heard that I thought to myself, three feet or maaaaaybe three yards. but three damn blocks?? And hell: Running? Not in decades has Nutty run anywhere.

The only things Nutmeg has in abundance is hubris and words.

S17.E13: One Elle of a Day

I concur. Some of them didn't know how to walk a runway, which I'm thinking has little to do with what size garment you're wearing. I'm certainly no skinny-minny, but it's just a fact that the clothes look better on the thinner models. So, it's kind of unfair to the designers with the bigger women, just because of that fact. I hate even saying that, because that's sort of derogatory to the plus-sized, of which I'm most likely one. Why don't they give all the designers models of more or less equal size for each challenge? All skinnies, or all plus, or all in-between.

    MSNBC

Does anyone else notice David Gura's little smirk? Not that I mind it; I don't. But he seems to have a resting smirk-face. I agree with so much that's been said above. It's past time for Chris M. to retire. He's turned into a spittle-spewing cranky old man. ---- Andrea has paid her dues in the news biz, but she really need so have every.single.word written out on the teleprompter. The hesitancy and word searching makes me cringe. ---- Chris Hayes needs to extract his testicles from that vise and tone it down an octave or two. ----- Yasmin should be on in prime time. That is all.
