  1. No, when he got to the house on the couch with Becky he only asked for 'my investment.' He was yelling at Cheryl about wanting all of it at Jeff's house but didn't end up asking the sister that. So I don't know if it was a continuity error or what. I had to watch the dinner scene again. Indefatigable Susan. I'm not a huge Richard Kind fan but he was killing me too.
  2. They still asked Judd before they went out though.
  3. I'm not really laying it at Matt. No one was listening to the captain or Billie. Judd was all like "I don't know what's real." Matt didn't think they'd be stupid enough to do it. It's really on Judd. He literally owns the entire thing.
  4. Meg singing American Dad was a good bit - and then there's a fish!
  5. I'm not going to worry too much about airlock design on a future space cruise ship. The crew are actors. Judd probably wanted to have the airlock like that for all we know. You go that far, Matt probably shouldn't have the code and the captain shouldn't be the only person to dock. You'd think Joe would have a third person.
  6. Holy shit that airlock scene was horrifying. I would have just let them run all out. Solved the lawsuit though. I did like the quick shot of the captain yanking Billie in when the second wave of people pushed through. I assuming the shuttle can fly higher %c due to the lower mass. Avenue 5 is so big its got a gravity well and they needed still to slingshot around Titan. They did say they would have burned all the fuel to correct the 2 degree miss. It's thin, but they did say it on the show. They are playing fair with the viewers for me.
  7. HBO has to draw the line somewhere. The lawsuits for the spontaneous pregnancies would be countless. That drives me up the wall when people immediately get on their phone when they land. Unless you're telling someone "The plane landed. Please come pick me up." I'm surprised Larry even bothered to go to Denver. That was like 100 years ago. I don't even remember the last season.
  8. That was a brilliant bit. I was dying when Peter kneeled because he shit himself. I knew it was obviously going to spin out of control but wasn't expecting WaQuohoag. I loved the end though when Peter said the anthem is played too much. I've never heard that song.
  9. I'm not famous and I fly first class. You get on first. They feed you. The floor space in coach is too small now to fit your dog as well. Larry didn't ask for the profit though. He asked for his original investment. That's not that bad. Ambidextrous Susan looked me because Larry lit up when he figured out 'oh you turn it both ways!' Jeff and Larry going on about the pizza was good work on Jeff's part just because of the cheese. I don't mind the yelling if it's Larry, Susie, Jeff, Richard Lewis. It's how they talk because of where they're from. Like if he yelled at the people in the restaurant or airport it would have been mean spirited. Jeff yelling out 'Ted is like a sister to Larry!' and then getting kicked out killed me too. Everyone was really on their game. The timing was sharp. I also liked everyone calling Jon Hamm 'Jon Hamm.' Is it supposed to be a running gag that Richard Lewis dates horrible women?
  10. Bob said he didn't want Linda to go aga the kids had to say because it was Saturday, but the show has taken place on weekends and it's never that busy.
  11. I don't know if Hamm was hiding behind his hand at the restaurant because he was going to crack up. Seriously though Cheryl, Larry bought the house, not 'we'. You're incredulous he thinks he should get his money back at least? gtfo. I can get her being pissed about fucking the sister but it's also not her fucking business. I think Lewis got Larry to crack on the Lamb Chop joke. The whole lazy Susan scene made me piss myself. Of course Larry gets thrown out age didn't even if he didn't even touch it. Yeah no, I'm not flying coach for you either.
  12. I know Bob is mild but sometimes he is absolutely justified if he yelled at the kids. I mean Louise and Gene were being terrible in the restaurant. He's really got to talk with Linda seriously about Gayle too.
  13. I don't know if the brother of a mafioso would be a snitch though.
  14. Claire returning to the 20th century and learning to be a doctor was the right call for me. I feel like she knew she might go back someday. I don't really have any investment in him and Bree because I find them boring. I don't need the 'out of my own time' plot because we've done that with Claire. However, to be fair, if Rodger was in a city, he'd likely find gainful employment. There are libraries and schools, or printing presses, etc. I can get him being a little whiny because Jamie doesn't really like him, but 1 - you could tell Jamie to knock it the fuck off, and 2 - you could have conversation with your wife about moving to a city for work. I think it would be quite the twist that 'modern' Rodger makes a unilateral decision that is 'of the times' in terms of telling his wife to shut the fuck up because he's the man and will be making the rules. I thought they knew the year. Besides, they could just tell Jamie and Claire about it to warn them. It's not like their incapable people.
  15. Fair points - I'm thinking after three episodes, Anakin is just pushing on. This time around, the show is very much not having any Kenobi influence. Which makes sense.
  16. Chi McBride has tons of credits. I doubt he'll have a hard time finding new roles and opportunities. Katrina Law strikes me as a similar type - actors that can play a lot of different roles, don't mind if they aren't leading, but just like to work. Law has been in genre shows like Arrow too, so that kind of expands what she might do as well. Obviously, getting a steady gig is ideal for any actor, but these two can do like 5 series in 3 years no problem and keep going. Still say Human Target was his best role.
  17. I think they threw in one Lost reference with Jerry and Chin. You need at least one more to close the series out.
  18. Poor Quinn is in a bind and the only person who can help is Adam. I did like Jun's 'who are you?' when he found out Tani was winning line dances at a cowboy bar.
  19. No, I think the shuttle will dock. It's too much of an opportunity to not have Rav thrown in with all of them. Does she even know the captain and the crew are all fake?
  20. That's a good enough explanation for me. Continuity isn't the show's strong point, and I don't really care because I want it to be on television till the end of time. But, conceptually, I like that it's fairly in line with One leaving and the Doctor being a thorn to the Time Lords. I can't believe none of the Companions died! I was holding my breath. I really, really like them stepping up and getting it done without the Doctor around. This is really what the show is about for me, and I really think this is a great theme for kids. I was hoping for Jack too. I actually disagree with the suggestion that the Master should have been the timeless child. This trend of explaining away bad people because of their circumstances is stale. They did that with Simm about hearing the drums all the time too. Some people are just assholes. I tend to think that much information might fry her brain. More fun to meet other 'old' Doctors pre-taking the name Doctor. Please let Jack break her out. I want all of that.
  21. I don't think they know the shuttle is coming.
  22. I liked Vioello so emphatically stating how good his book is. I was surprised that "we didn't do it". Because when Francis keeled over he immediately got a text that it was done. I'm not sure if he's spinning some game.
