  1. I don't understand who at the show thinks we at home want to listen to those fools scream and screech on the plaza! And it's cringeworthy when they select people to give tickets or prizes to, and the recipients don't say thank you, or just don't get excited at all. That drives me nuts. At least Hoda and Savannah have stopped grabbing babies and holding them. What was that all about?
  2. I thought the 4th hour was good all week. Andy Cohen didn’t hold back and he was hilarious. Especially when he teased Hoda about wearing the same bracelets and earrings all week. In fact, I liked Hoda and Meredith and Hoda and Maria Shriver. Even though they’re goofy acting they still know how to keep the show moving. I’m not sure how it’s going to be when/if Jenna comes back.
  3. Hoda really seemed to like the idea of getting the dog, but then she'd talk about walking the dog at all hours and it didn't sound like much fun anymore. Kathie Lee had dogs, but she had the ever-present assistant, Christine, to take care of everything, probably including the dogs. I always wondered if Christine had any life outside of Kathie Lee. Anyway, if Hoda found it necessary to get rid of Blake because of the children maybe she should explain to her audience after we heard so much about him. The dog, not the real Blake! By the way, I'm a dog person and had dogs around babies through grown children and it worked out just fine.
  4. Once again they rushed the cooking segment at the end of the show. At least Craig tried to let the guy talk. Savannah always has to make some comment indicating that she's never seen a stove. Why don't they send all of them (except Al and maybe Carson) to a Cooking 101 class so they don't look so dumb. Maybe learn some basic knife skills etc. Although some of them revel in the fact that they can't cook. What do they feed their kids?
  5. Too bad Hoda's coming back. They should have Leah Remini and Jill Martin as permanent hosts. They were on last Friday and it was the best show I can remember in a long time. No shrieking about how nice it was to see or meet each other, no fake hugging, no crying and no baby talk! Also no "y'all" but it was back today, so maybe it comes and goes.
  6. Here's what I think is going to happen. Hoda will stay on the early show and bag the 10:00 hour. Jenna will go on maternity leave, and Natalie will slide in to the main anchor chair. Jenna doesn't have the chops to be the lead anchor, but she does ok as the wingman. Either that or Hoda is just going to ride off into the sunset and we'll never see her on tv again. Not a bad thing...
  7. Bobbie Thomas was on a few weeks ago and talked about her husband's stroke. I always liked her, and like her even more now that I see her at a parade with her husband and little boy. She has a full plate, but still feels grateful for her family. They should have her on more, and give her enough time to finish her segments. She's always interesting and they're always rushing her and talking over her. I guess they do that to everyone though.
  8. First post--please be gentle! I just had to say that I used to really enjoy this show, but it's almost impossible to watch. Could someone please pull Jenna aside and let her know she's not at a slumber party, that there are (presumably) millions of people watching? We don't need to hear her butt in to say that Henry has the diaper bag jacket (shown before Father's Day) or anything else for that matter. The poor guests trying to cook or show fashions etc. can't get a word in edgewise anymore. Jenna and Hoda-of-the-Day just chat like nobody else is around!
