  1. Regarding Mr. Honey... not buying the insinuation that he’s overall okay. We know Honey's twisted regardless... he might have a Hitler-like way of actually wanting to prepare students for the real world but it doesn't excuse his other actions. What he did to Reggie's car, the weird way he has cancelled prom at every school he's worked for (and this last bit with the videotape, wtf), the child porn stuff that he was directly around (this hasn't been addressed at all), and the weird interaction he had with Kevin that one episode. Some thought he wanted to have sex with Kevin, he was acting so bizarre and strange. The audience has eyes and brains. We saw what we saw. So even if most of his behavior was just stern, he still has tons of shady behavior that cannot be explained away. The Stonewall Prep thing is just weird. It is like that place is haunted with evil and it keeps circling around like the wind. Who would have hired him? Stonewall Prep might want law and order right now but I still don't see why they would hire him, at triple the salary on top of it all. I love when Jughead realized he was letting Riverdale tear him apart and changed the story at the end. I LOVE this. RAS made it seem like future seasons won’t be as dark. They brought up Minetta's murder again. We know the actors of Hermione and FP are leaving after the final 3 episodes of season 4. Maybe Sheriff Minetta murder tape leads to Hermione and FP's involvement and they end up in prison. That is how you get around killing off both characters (just throw them in prison) so the actors/characters can return in the future. Charles/Chic connection is on hold. I still think all is not what it appears. I’m still not sure Charles is bad. He might be playing Chic. A long time ago Lili made it seem like Charles was not bad. Things could have changed since then, though. Loved that Archie was like "we have to think tactically" then immediately turned to Betty for a plan. LOL. I wonder why Kevin wasn't in Jughead's story. He has just as much reason to hate Honey as Reggie. The ending was creepy, especially when all the people on the tape looked at the camera and cocked their heads to the side in unison. Lili and Cole looked so devious during some of the scenes played out as a result of Jug's fiction. They did such a great job. If you look at Lili Reinhart's eyes... seriously, I have never seen such a unique color. They are so beautiful. So when you put in Dark, Devious Sociopath Betty with those eyes... man, what a crazy combination. LOL. Prom has to be when the Core 4 blows up after Barchie is revealed. I really believe this. It’s classic TV and film to have prom, which creates drama on its own, cause chaos. I think this is the direction Riverdale is going in.
  2. Betty/Archie are very, very far from over. This episode proved as much. Betty couldn't even allow Archie to finish the song he wrote and performed for her, it affected her so much. She does have real romantic feelings for him and she has been in love with him in one way or another for a decade. Betty didn't stop this with Archie because her heart was telling her to go there, she stopped it partially because of what Cheryl said, but the other part is she did not want to cheat on Jughead or hurt both Jughead and Veronica. She is pushing her real feelings aside and trying to "burn" those memories and feelings away. Now, is Cheryl right on as a rule and maybe it still is ultimate fantasy in the end? Could be. It might just be childhood fantasy sort of like how Amy Abbott thought she was in love with Colin Hart on Everwood (this is what it reminds me of) and they were destined to be together. That was not true in the least. Amy's truth and true love was with Ephram and being with Ephram. Will this be the case for Betty and Betty/Jughead as well like Amy and Ephram/Amy? Maybe. But the difference is we SAW Everwood play out and we knew the truth eventually... Colin was a childhood crush/fantasy for Amy and Ephram was her reality. We have no evidence either way if what Cheryl said is true and at the very least, this episode is strongly hinting that we will eventually SEE what the reality is. The one diary Alice had Betty save and not burn obviously 100% holds the key and means everything. The showrunner RAS LIKED a Tweet that stated as much. He was all but confirming the diary is key and there is way more to the story. Initially before watching the episode I thought he was trolling but after seeing the episode I do not think it was a troll job. Betty is pushing her feelings aside, and Betty/Archie are not over. Not in the least. Archie is wanting to leave and start a new life because he's absolutely devastated over Betty rejecting him. Archie needs to promptly break up with Veronica. He couldn't even tell Betty he was in love with Veronica in words that last time, and he was willing to be with Betty while STILL with Veronica. He needs to break up with Veronica. Now what are Betty's true feelings? I honestly think she loves both Jughead and Archie, and the key is figuring out the definition of each love. However, this episode just confirms the real triangle on this show is not going to be Betty/Archie/Veronica, it is definitely Jughead/Betty/Archie. Betty did mention it is possible Barchie is confused because it feels so safe and comfortable in an otherwise confusing time period aka going to college soon/Fred's death/all the crap they've endured in scary Riverdale. This is possible and what it might turn out being. But I still think the way the episode was constructed, Betty not being able to even hear the song, Cheryl's words, and truly not wanting to hurt Veronica and Jughead... she just couldn't deal with and face what her true feelings for Archie are right now. She is pushing it away... for now... but it will be revisited, guaranteed. I am glad too because if revisited, it will not happen in a dirty cheating way. It will be done right. - Honey is gross trash. I knew he was bad but didn't expect him to be this gross. - Cheryl didn't deserve having to see a version of Jason dying in the manner that he did once again. Horrible. - Cheryl suddenly being protective of her psychopath mother... people say it's out of character but not really... Cheryl is still very messed up over her family. How could she not be? She was interacting with Jason's corpse! Just because thankfully she stopped going there, doesn't mean she's suddenly free from the mental side effects of her family. It would make sense one second she'd see her mother as the devil and the next, she defends her. That is what you do when you are suffering from years of mental anguish due to family. - Kevin and Fangs appear to be Kevin's long term pairing. I thought it was Moose. Nope. - I knew the second Reggie got greedy and wanted to be involved, they were in trouble. But I'm glad because anything that gets tickle porn off my screen works and it seems like it's over. The thugs cannot get mad as long as they are not producing anymore and they aren't going to go there again so it seems over. - I hate that Veronica went back to her father again and all of that but oh well, it's sadly what she does. My hope for Veronica is that she gets her pretty face to NYC and starts new and fresh. She deserves it. - Those childhood flashbacks of Betty and Archie are so adorable. They really are... so cute. - As for the mystery... I am still lost. I have no clue who is sending those tapes. I did find it interesting Charles called Jughead his little brother. I know signs point to Charles being bad but I'm continuing to hold out hope there's a twist and he's basically good still. I guess we'll see. - I am glad Ethel was still in that gray area of being strange but not a flat out baddie criminal either. I like how Jughead handled her. He knows she's unstable and obsessed so he was gentle but stern. - I also think Jughead is right... we are just seeing the first two of many evil, terrorizing tapes. They will all receive one.
  3. I honestly like Betty/Archie. I rooted for them in early season 1. But then Betty/Jughead happened and their ability to make it work and the stability was refreshing. So I started liking them. However, the Betty/Archie thing still intrigues me because the part of me that loved them in early season 1 is curious and even thankful they will be explored. I don’t like the what might have been thing at all. Now, this won’t be the case. Plus, the show is loosely based on the Comics. It really would be ridiculous having a show based on The Archie Comics without Betty/Archie explored romantically. I just wish they were single. At the end of the day though, my favorite character is Betty Cooper. Always has been, always will be. I want what she wants basically. That is partially why I’m open to shipping. Betty Stan I am. 😄
  4. That is precisely what the spoilers indicate. I don't understand people saying this is coming out of nowhere. Huh? Betty had strong romantic feelings for Archie in early season 1 and Archie had feelings too but was in severe denial. They kissed in the car years later. All of that was shoved in a closest and never fully discussed. Then they had to fake a romance for months and months while they took down Stonewall Prep. It seems very possible with them going there, it would cause confusion due to their history. It actually makes sense. Anyone thinking this is happening out of the blue I don't think has been paying attention.
  5. That is true. Emotional cheating exists and some even think it’s a bigger deal than physical cheating. From the spoilers it seemed to indicate even after the kiss there is a longing look or something. Did you read the spoiler? Apparently EW took it down but another site had it up too. ETA: Yahoo had it but now several hours later they took it down. Strange.
  6. If this is legit, and it seems to be... I just don't understand why have them cheat. That part bothers me. There's plenty of ways to go there without the cheating. I wish they would be explored without any dirt. I don't want to give those enraged fans any fuel is what I am trying to say. I love Betty/Jughead but at one point very much liked Betty/Archie very early season 1 which is why I am okay with this happening. I just wish if the spoiler is true and it goes down as explained, it didn't have to include the kissing while they are still very much with Jughead and Veronica.
  7. Have you guys seen the spoiler that’s swirling around Twitter? Apparently Betty and Archie cheat on Jughead and Veronica in the musical. It was posted by Entertainment Weekly but has been taken down. Unless there’s a twist, it seems legit. It is one thing to explore Betty/Archie since they are big in the comics and there have been hints throughout the TV series. But why have them cheat? It’s only going to enrage a large portion of fans even more.
  8. Thanks! I completely agree it might make sense to stop before the musical. This last episode feels like a finale.
  9. Do we know how far Batwoman got with filming before they closed down?
  10. Does anyone know how many episodes they have left to film this season? I wonder how this will work. Will those remaining episodes be added on to the new season?
  11. I don’t understand how Cecile cannot sense something is wrong concerning Iris. It’s like the writers forgot she should easily sense something is very off/Iris is in danger. She might not be able to sense that it’s not really Iris. But based on what we have seen regarding her powers in the past… she should at least know something is extremely wrong every second she gets anywhere near Mirror Iris.
  12. If Spectre is a God why on earth could he have not anticipated this? I didn't even watch Arrow (I stopped after it was clear they were not following the GA Comic character very closely) but this oddly makes me irked with Spectre yet I shouldn't even really care. This is why Crossovers suck and are messy, too.
  13. Yes, there could be a tease in the season finale of Barchie. Archie admits to Betty he has romantic feelings for her that he’s tried to deny. Betty responds either positively or still confused. Then the time jump happens and we either see them already together or on their way. LOL. It really would be the realistic way to break Varchie up. Where the sensitivity exists is Jughead/Betty/Archie. These are three childhood friends so hopefully it is done in a way that doesn’t ruin friendships.
  14. Yes, I don’t think they are touching Betty and Archie romantically the rest of the season. We might see some confusion from one or both (most likely Archie) but my guess is there will be a time jump next season and at that point they can do whatever. They might immediately do the time jump and tell us that Veronica is in New York City and Archie is in Riverdale and they broke up due to distance. So I think if they go there with Betty and Archie it will be when the 3 to 5 year time jump is in place.
