Even at All stars you have sometimes more than two in the bottom. Usually it happens towards the end, at which point everyone who isn't the top too is automatically in the bottom.

Yeah, that is a problem. Less with my friends who tend to be as social media wary as I am, but with my closer family. But at least they don't do it all the time, and they are fairly careful about what they share. But if they weren't, I could stop them. Under German privacy law, you can't just post the pictures of other people without permission. It's a really, really good thing that this technology wasn't available during the time of the GDR.

I think the record is six...you know, from this one challenge when a whole team ended up in the bottom and had to lip sync against each other. Hopefully THAT will never happen again.

Really? After this guy insulted all the others with racial slurs? I usually forget that the cast of AoS is so diverse, but the current setting is a constant reminder. Though it made a lot of sense that Deke himself was first clueless, because he actually didn't grew up with any "white privilege". I doubt that the Kree cared about skin colour, or that the surviving humans cared anymore.

Nah, Alyssa did the whole walking around a lot in her own season, too. She has the reputation as a lip sync assassin, but that is largely based on her being the first who survived multiple times with impressive performances and the fact that she has training as a dancer. But personally I think that pretty much every queen who got the title after her could easily outdance her. And that includes Shea, who only doesn't got the "title" because she barely had to lip sync at all.

Yep...Violet commented on the episode and she said that she would have picked Bezos...simply because she could have done so many puns with double meanings about him (you know, all related with the concept of "delivering packages" or "filling up her floor"). This was not one of those "reveal something about yourself" challenges, it was all about doing something memorable. So it didn't even have to be weird, it just had to be something you can milk for all its worth. I noticed that a lot of queens also make the mistake when picking celebrities for Snatchgame. They still haven't understood that you either have to pick a celebrity nobody really knows but you can make funny just by being you, or even better, pick one which has a lot of quirks and memorable lines. This is why Aquaria's take on Melania Trump is still my favourite performance, even though Aquaria herself is a decent actor at best and not particularly good in being spontaneous. But she didn't HAVE to be, She just used her probs and otherwise just waited patiently for the right moment to throw out good one-liners. I am ready to bet that she planned the "no wonder my husband is complaining about China all the time" line the moment she learned that someone had picked Chyna as a character, nor do I think that the "every hole is a goal" line wasn't pre-planned. It was perfect because it could be thrown out after any wrong question. Frankly, I each season kind of confused that nobody has tackled Kelly-Ann Conway yet. She would be so easy. You could just claim that you answer is a match and as soon as Ru says it isn't, you can throw our in an extra-sweet tone "oh, don't be so cynical. This answer is certainly a match." I am sure Ru would play ball and give you a line which would allow you to claim that you are just presenting "alternative facts". Originally I was wondering if it wasn't happening due to it being so politically, but that idea went right out of the window when they allowed both Maxine Walters and Melania Trump.

Ongina hasn't been brought back more than some other queens. We had two who had two all-star runs just last season. And not only have bald queens a place in the competition, they can also win it. See Sasha.

Blair's group deliberately picked "celebrities" you would normally not consider material for celebrities crushes. It was a huge joke (hey, they had Ru laughing multiple times just because of this) and I am pretty sure that if not for Shea (predictably) slaying the challenge, their group would have won, despite all the sniping they did at each other. Also, yes, in most cases the lip sync assassin will win the round, but Shea is an assassin in her own right, so she was the obvious candidate for slaying one of them. Frankly, I was kind of surprised that she got Alyssa Edwards...from a dramatical point of view, it would have been even better if she had some sort revenge round against someone from her own season. And yes, you could have planned that, because she was the most likely winner of a dancing challenge. It's her thing after all.

Honestly, I was more annoyed about Mayham...she was basically suggesting that it was Crackers fault that she ended up in the bottom and went out last season, but the issue was more that her performance was completely one-note and her runway didn't really read as denim, not anything what Cracker did. It was an improvisation challenge after all, and Cracker actually worked really well with her partner, while others, like Eureka, acted as if they were alone on stage. I also don't get why Cracker suggesting a different lyric is a big drama, but India suggesting a different lyric is okay. The only difference was that in one case the lyric was picked up and in the other it wasn't, but it is not like Cracker made a huge drama out of it. I just don't have any patience for queens who always blame someone else if they don't shine in the challenges. Cracker might or might not be difficult to work with, but at least she never acts as if someone else is responsible if she fails in an assignment. Otherwise I think Cracker has simply learned how to play the game: Be part of the narrative, always, so that you get as much screentime as possible. But she has to be careful that she doesn't shot herself in the foot in the process. Otherwise...I hate to say it, but she was right. Yes, she shouldn't have said it (and its good that she realises this herself), but Ongina got a hard to understand pass last week and she utterly failed this week. And I am not talking about the singing, she obviously had some sort of cold. Honestly, she should have gotten a pass for singing and be allowed to speak instead. But remember that she mostly got by with her personality in her own season. Drag Race has changed a LOT since then. Personality isn't enough anymore. (And I really like Ongina, but I think she knew herself that she wasn't on a level with drag queens which came after her).

The actor of Fitz has other obligations, hence he isn't a regular this season. So I wouldn't hold my breath to see him anytime soon. Not the fault of the writers, just circumstances.

I doubt that we will see Silky again anytime soon. I think she is the queen who did the most damage to her own career since Phi Phi. Except that this time around, it is not just the editing for sure.

Daisy hasn't "forgotten" that she has powers, she just can't use them nilly-willy. Unlike Yoyo, whose powers are close to invisible, her powers are kind of flashy. It would be fatale if she would start a hunt for powered people ahead of time. Also, if one really want to, one can nitpick pretty much everything. The show has delivered an in-universe explanation for the Chronicom's action. That is enough for me, as long as their plans make sense with the stated goal. Taking out the brain-trust of Shield makes completely sense. Btw, the episode has some of the best quotes and moments...Sousa complaining about Jemma's "bad accent" must have been one of my favourite take that to the "This is an awful accent" brigade. Also... Moist! Moist! Moist!!!!

Sousa is the best!!! But I am now wondering of the "or two" part.... And I am feeling the lack of a proper conclusion for Agent Carter yet again!!!!! Anyway, I agree that it is a good idea to mix the teams up a little bit. Also, I kept reminding myself that the episodes were shot last year and are not a commentary on what is currently happening in the world. But I guess Marvel has always been pretty good in laying a finger on the problems in our world.

Oh please...the winner this week was just shenanigans.

I like Ward...mostly because he never got a redemption arc. They stayed true to the statement that some people are too far gone to be rescued. There was a time at which Ward could have been set on the right path, but that time was when he was a teen.

For a hot second in his hive form, as one of the "fears". It's little, and they certainly didn't bother to hire the actor, but it counts in my book.

Since season 9 it is the deciding factor. You always have this dance battles, during which queens who are particularly limber have a clear advantage. Beforehand the top queens put on some sort of show and then Ru announced the decision, which was more "honest" because it was pretty clear that the decision was not just based on this last performance. And before that, there was a variety of "final challenges". You can't go back to this time, because some kind of show is expected at this point, but I don't see why the show has to always boil down to a lyp sync battle.

...or two? Oh, please, please, please let Peggy be in this!!!! (I would be sooooo disappointed if she isn't).

As I said, I don't mind the lip-sync as PART of the show, but I dislike it as sole arbiter for the win.

Not sure if they will bring back Ward...I hope that they do, because, well, they kind of HAVE to. Because he has been in every single season except season 6 so far. But a lot will depend on which actors were available.

Well, now I know what all the "Brie Larson wants to get rid of police" vids which are popping up on youtube are actually about.... Great show. I especially love that he focussed on the problem and how he pointed out that the same solutions discussed now have been discussed for ages and yet never used.

Except that it isn't. Take Bianca. Under the current rules she would have never won her season, she would have made it to the finale only to be out-danced there in the first round. Take Kim-Chi. Yes, being able to put on a show is important, but is what she is doing any less valid than what the so called lip-Sync assassins are doing? Take Violet, who CAN turn out a show if she has to, but he big talent is fashion, design and burlesque. He making splits on stage just wouldn't fit her brand. I like it as one last ditch attempt to avoid elimination, because it is an opportunity to proof "yes, I have stage presence, yes, I am ready to give everything I have", but I don't like at the one winning factor. Drag Race is a very limiting view on Drag as it is, but the focus on lip syncing limits it even further. And makes the competition more boring, btw. That's why I like those talent shows they do on all-stars. Usually it is a good opportunity to see what a show put on by the drag queen in question would look like.
