  1. My daughter cracking me up again. I love that she still randomly watches GG. 😅
  2. This makes me so sad. Props to her for standing up for herself and not just going along with it, though. https://www.dailywire.com/news/stranger-things-star-says-shes-done-with-acting-after-allegedly-being-propositioned-by-film-producer
  3. Well, that's the whole premise of the book (Point of Impact) the show is based on, so..... LOL. The focus of the story is more about figuring out who framed him and why than it is just him trying to clear his name, so it just depends on what you're looking for whether or not you'll enjoy it overall. I loved it, and need to watch it again soon.
  4. Iron Fist dragged a little in the first season, but that second season! Wow! It was really, really good. Luke Cage was boring AF. 😅 It did pick up a little in the second season, but not enough to put it up on my list of things I'd want to watch again.
  5. So much of what goes on in The Defenders isn't going to make any sense without being familiar with the characters, especially the ones from Iron Fist. But I hope you're able to enjoy it anyway! Definitely check out the other series after you're finished. Daredevil and Jessica Jones are the best IMO, followed by Iron Fist and then Luke Cage. Just my personal preferences.
  6. I'm assuming it's supposed to be his leaving town outfit from Say Goodnight, Gracie. Although looking at the screencaps, his t-shirt was black, not red. But that's the only time I remember him carrying that huge duffel bag. He had it on the bus with him. https://www.homeofthenutty.com/gilmoregirls/screencaps/albums/320/GG320-01235.jpg
  7. 😂 I was trying to figure out what Lorelai and Rory were holding, too. But looking at it again, it's gotta be disposable coffee cups. There's even the drink hole on the lid. Lane with her humongous band hat (it's like fountains of blood squirting out of our heads!) is killing me. 😂
  8. A couple of really random scenes that always crack me up - When Lorelai gets to FND before Rory and makes an excuse to go back out to her jeep, and is dancing to the radio and Emily comes and knocks on the window. The way she screams and jumps back just kills me. 😅 And the scene where the Gilmore mansion is on the tour of homes and Lorelai comes to the door and suddenly there's a whole group of people behind her. The wtf? look on her face is hysterical.
  9. I finally have realized why I don't like Friday Night's Alright for Fighting the way most fans seem to. That's the one episode (not counting the Revival, which I consider on a different level altogether) that feels like I'm Watching a Sitcom rather than just having a window to observe this kooky town of charming people interact with each other like normal human beings. It bugs me.
  10. Reading these couple of posts has finally made me realize why I DON'T like FNAFF, but I'll take it to the UO thread since I know I'm in the minority. 😅
  11. I think he was just speaking broadly about knowing what kind of creature the Demogorgon was and how to fight it. He may have used the terminology "I have fought one of these" but that's easier than going into how he's personally fought mini versions while his adopted daughter and her boyfriend and friends have literally fought the big one LOL.
  12. That's one of my favorite moments too. His body language is so heartbreaking.
  13. I've been watching some of Professor of Rock's vids on youtube lately, as soon as I saw the title of this one I knew what song it was going to be about LOL.
  14. Although Richard did at least decide not to leave her ashes on the mantle to sit in judgement of Emily for all eternity, which was very sweet of him. (And I mean that sincerely. He never wanted to make waves with his mother while she was alive, but he did at least put his wife's feelings over her wishes once she was gone.)
  15. That part is very confusing. The first time I tried not to watch too closely, because ewww, but when rewatching I tried to pay more attention since obviously if it had broken his foot/ankle he wouldn't have been able to walk normally. It kind of looked like the guy cut into his foot enough that he could wedge the shackle into the cut and have enough room that way to pull it off? But I like your idea that maybe he was bending the shackles out of place to make them easier to pull off. I really don't know.
  16. I just spit out my lunch. 😂
  17. Oh now that's FUNNY. 😅 This change will be my headcanon from now on.
  18. You're right, I forgot he told Rory the wake was Miss Patty's doing. It's been a while since I watched DUAV.
  19. I am loving this theory @scarynikki12! I'm the resident Jess apologist, so take this as you will, but one thing I've always noticed about Jess is that he does try to learn from his mistakes, even if the way he goes about it isn't always "right" or even gets noticed. One example is how he stopped doing the pranks once Rory clued him in that Luke was taking flack from the townies over it, to the point that there was a special town meeting to discuss The Jess Issue. He didn't become some model Stars Hollow Citizen or anything, but he cut out the stupid pranks. Another one is how he stepped up and arranged the wake for Uncle Louie after Rory chewed him out for not helping enough in the diner while Luke was trying to arrange the funeral. And how he stopped wearing the t-shirts that were scaring the customers (but not without first dressing in a flannel and backwards baseball cap to get a dig in at Luke....LOLOL.....). Anyway, my point is, once he was told how his actions were hurting others, he usually stepped up and tried to do better. Not always successfully, but he did try. Yeah, and quite frankly coming from big city schools, he was probably used to students passing and graduating whether they were keeping up and/or attending classes or not. He probably really did think that as long as he was smart enough (and he was) it didn't really matter that much if he was following the school's rules or not. Small town life was truly that foreign to him.
  20. Yes. It's never specifically stated that she did, but there's really no indication or even implication that Anna didn't know Luke was the father. Only that she never told April who her father was so April took it upon herself to hunt for clues. I agree. I've defended Luke before on this and I still maintain that he didn't tell Lorelai because he truly wanted to see if April would like him for himself and not because he had a sparkly fun girlfriend. Maybe it would have made more sense if he had mentioned this bizarre happening with a 12 year old girl showing up in his diner and pulling out one of his hairs, and then IF Lorelai asked about it later he lied and said nothing came of it, but not wanting Lorelai involved while he figured it out really is in character for him. Anna's reaction to the birthday party is the most bizarre thing in the world to me. WHY would she think the parents of a dozen 12 - 13 year old girls would be more comfortable with their daughter spending the night in a small apartment with only an unmarried man as their chaperone, than with him and his fiancee instead? SO. DUMB. Absolutely agree.
  21. For real. I have to chalk that one up to ASP thinking she's being quirky and funny in a 'sitcom not real life' kind of way and move on. Otherwise my eyelid starts twitching. I have long since believed that Lorelai knew she would never get child support from the Haydens (since Christopher was still underage) without a huge embarrassing fight, probably with them insisting on paternity testing along with publicly calling her nasty names, and since the Gilmores obviously weren't hurting for the money she didn't want to put herself through that. Yep, yep, yep.
  22. Oh yeah that would be great. Make things a lot easier to figure out on our end, for sure. At least the Upside Down doesn't drive me as crazy as trying to follow alternate universe storylines like on Fringe where the viewer is expected to believe that every person who has ever lived has alternate versions of themselves in other universes who make different life decisions and die at different times and yet the exact same people somehow end up being born at the exact same time so that the exact same versions are always alive at the exact same time and..............ugh. Makes my head hurt just trying to think about it. ðŸĪŠ
