  1. The weird part is that he didn't even seem impressed by Stan Lee. It felt like he thought he was doing the old guy a favor or something. I don't know. I love the guys, listen to a bunch of their podcasts and stuff, but this show just isn't delivering any entertainment value any more.
  2. Teebax, sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and your bride.
  3. I had a moment today, folks. I encountered the name Patricia Bean in my work. Upon closer examination, the age was wrong for it to be THE Patricia Bean, but it gave me quite a case of the shivers anyway.
  4. Or as Judge Milian recently heard: "fecal position."
  5. I miss Craig saying "Off you go." He seems to have exclusively replaced it with "Get going." So much less charming.
  6. Angel, who hails from my hometown of Largo, Florida! I had to rewind to show the caption to my husband who nearly fell off the couch laughing.
  7. I was so irritated that the live punishment special ran over so long; my DVR cut off just before Joe's attempt. Thanks to TruTV's relentess airing of the show though, I was able to catch a later rerun over the weekend where they edited it down to an hour. It was cool how excited they all were for Q's success. Howie Mandel was quite awkward throughout.
  8. I laughed and laughed at the Rock/Stone category when for the 4 word wrestler, the woman buzzed in and said with perfect confidence "Dwayne The Rock Johnson" when the answer was Stone Cold Steve Austin.
  9. The balloons. That's where my line is drawn. Even if I can handwave that they preserved all the necessities of life, why on earth would they preserve balloons and duck blanks and crepe paper, etc.? I guess there must be a Party City in that mountain too.
  10. OT, but every time I see your user name, I freak out a little, thinking "I don't remember writing that." :)
  11. The house was $110,000, so that must be a lot of poop! :)
  12. I think JJ would be curious to know where the figure of $2 million in damages come from.
  13. I don't remember the In Search Of episode, but I spent the late 70s being terrified of the killer bee invasion. I still remember those maps showing their migration, from Mexico, then covering Texas, and continuing their trek northward. Of course, it's possible these fears were fueled by my older brothers, who delighted in their ability to terrify me. They also managed to convince me that the apes from Planet of the Apes were going to invade (Boston??) sooner rather than later.
  14. I did like the foreshadowing of Wilson hitting Bill with the hammer from earlier in the episode when Bill pounded a nail right into the forehead of his own image on the political sign. Nicely done.
