  1. Wait till you see the degrees of some of the new rookies.
  2. Not at all. In fact the resort where we are has chairs for rent side by side. We went and bought our own, and set up away from other people but it seems to be business as usual. We’ve only had food delivery or eaten outside, but everything is open, even the spa. We haven’t been out much so I don’t know about bars but normal tourist stuff yeah
  3. I live in Texas but we’re currently vacationing in Florida and we got that same word today about another lockdown. We may have to stay here! The beaches are uncrowded and peaceful!
  4. Um, Lake Highlands is hardly a “terrible” part of town 😹🙄 Check out real estate in that part of town. People pay close to 7 figures for homes in that area because it’s a highly sought after school district and close to everything in Dallas proper. As for how the show presents her- she hasn’t been on the show in over a year. She walked away.
  5. I bet with your insider info you could name names of those who are currently or have recently tested positive. if they only do temperature checks, probably everyone will pass. But actual Covid tests might tell a different story.
  6. Since the date for training camp keeps moving later, the new TCC can’t really make plans. Plus Kelli has told them not to sign leases or make any permanent arrangements. But when camp does start, there will be girls moving from around Texas and around the country. They’re going to have to quarantine everyone in training camp and probably CMT crew for 14 days before the first day or they’re taking on a huge lawsuit liability. Plus aren’t girls like Kelcey who’s a nurse and Brennan and Gina who are professionals going to be working everyday during the day? And I think Jalyn owns her own studio? Taylor is a school teacher. it’s a big feather in their cap to have girls who work and have impressive careers. Do they all have to quit their careers or quit DCC, or will they be able to guarantee nobody is sharing germs every night at training camp??
  7. I would say they dance 10-12 games but do appearances over 300 days a year. If Kelli is selling herself on cameo, why wouldn’t she book DCC? They make a boatload of money off appearances. And Back to the money- the show doesn’t bankroll DCC, but it makes them in demand for appearances, which don’t have to stop thanks to social distancing and Zoom, Cameo etc.
  8. Consider, though, that the football team is there since they’re not going to Oxnard. There’s also front office staff, facilities and housekeeping people, dining staff etc. Say they start with 60 DCC TCCs, , 30 CMT crew, 10 or so DCC staff plus an ever revolving cast of guest choreographers, hair and makeup/makeover crew, on set paramedic, whatever Covid screeners are required etc... dont see how they can bring that can bring a group that big to the Star/Ford center. They can’t keep the girls on the outside fields in Texas heat.
  9. The MTT revenue belongs to Viacom, the parent company of CMT. Viacom in no way splits revenue with the Cowboys organization, much less the DCC which is a sub entity of the overall brand. Asking the network that owns the show to “actually use it on the squad” is like asking Amazon to buy people bigger porches to leave packages on. Viacom has no obligations or even relations with the squad. Viacom owns CMT. CMT hires a production company to produce the show. The production company has the relationship with the Cowboys, and that company has a budget for production costs and paying its “stars,” like Kelli and Judy and Charlotte. The girls are paid for the time they are in the studio for filming, but they are paid by the Cowboys organization, not the production company or the network. I know it may seem like semantics but there are a lot of layers between the girls and the TV show.
  10. Why does someone need to “take her spot?” Isn’t that kind of what goes to the heart of the debate this country is having right now? That there are only a certain number of spots for black girls but not other girls? Why can’t Kat earned her spot back as well as any other black girls who earn their own spots? Why does it have to be an even swap? They are DANCERS, not “black girls.” @admin I’m not looking to pick a fight, but I’ve made a commitment to speak out when I see people being treated differently solely based on color to help open eyes and hearts.
  11. I’ve just found this show and we’re bunge watching- your words here really stood out to me as I’m reading them at the end of Week 6 of #stayhome Isn’t it crazy how rapidly things change?? I don’t know if you’ll even see this but I just had to comment!
  12. We were wondering if it’s a bad rug??
  13. CryKenna 🤣🤣🤣 blah 🤮
  14. She is so beneath the other women she’s really lucky to be there, yet she whines about not getting his attention constantly. I so wanted somebody to call her out and put her in her place!! Byeeeee MY kenna
  15. Oh I agree! But knowing what some of those girls are like, that’s a GOOD thing.
