I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other about Shelagh, but for god’s sake, woman, LET YOUR HAIR DOWN ALREADY!

I’m not one to promote physical violence, but if Romy had dumped a ton of sprinkles on Molly’s head on the way out, I would’ve cheered!

Sprinkles might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back, but I think what really devastated Romy was the judges’ criticism of his cake’s decoration, after he’d explained how meaningful it was to him. That was just cruel. You could see him react to that comment like he’d been punched in the gut.

That was the goal of feminism back then, that women should have a choice in what doing whatever they wanted to do
Yes! That’s the essence of feminism, plain and simple. I think a lot of people don’t realize that, people who say, “I’m not a feminist, but…”

“Couldn't Jalessa have finished cooking her cheesecake without the top of it continuing to brown by simply covering the cheesecake with some tinfoil?”That was my first thought as well.

Duff quote from Twitter
@duffgoldman
I have completely stopped caring when someone gets uncomfortable when I have to explain to them that I don’t drink. It’s a weird phenomenon.

Tomato soup cake is a classic old recipe. It’s basically a moist spice cake, and you don’t taste the tomato soup at all.

You know what really bugs me? Clayton’s rationale that he HAD to test drive all the women because sex (intimacy, chemistry, physical connection, blah blah blah) is SO important in a relationship. I think most people know very well whether they’re physical attracted to someone else without having to have intercourse to “prove” it. Clayton certainly knew he had “chemistry” with all the women, god knows he talked about it all the time! Sheesh!

I'm reminded of the George Constanza quote on Seinfeld, "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time."
I thought of exactly the same Seinfeld show when I was reading about all this. One of my all-time favorite episodes!

he would have successfully bedded two women literally back to back
Probably not anatomically possible, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be Clayton!

I'm okay with Susie getting the Bachelorette gig. They gave the gig to Katie, setting a very low bar. Also, I think Susie is the kind of lead that will get the guys totally falling all over themselves for her.
I’d be ok with any of the F3 as the next bachelorette, but my top choice would be Serene.

Has Tom been on any other baking shows? He seems so familiar to me.

Did anyone else feel it verged on cheating when she suggested using macadamias as the baby?
I did.

Did anyone else notice that when Molly read off the names of the bakers who’d be returning, she forgot to say (or they mistakenly edited out) Caroline? I was shocked!
Where is Nancy Fuller and why did her mother sit in for her tonight?

Nadya is a real beauty! It was nice seeing the family pictures. Ellora looked so cute with masses of curls surrounding her face.

I thought Ellora did a great job with her moon, and I agree that Sarah's sun was pretty great.
Those two definitely lucked out in getting the easiest shapes to construct, letting them focus on the decorating. I liked Sarah’s best; the glass shards were inspired. I’ve no doubt Ellora’s cupcakes tasted great, but I thought the overall appearance was somewhat unattractive.
