Is there a new episode today? This weekend was hard w nothing one and some websites down. I just for the first time learned about Riviera a high budget soap w rich people living and looking rich so started it last night. I was getting burnt out on the soaps w the writing and production values of Saved by the Bell episodes (cough Y&R, Days).

And then after decades of that precedent one day announced on screen “one year later” .... it would stand to reason that is one year ahead the previous established timeline. Following what show typed and informed us. Now if you think in Salem the entire planet was soras’d one year and then de-sorased during TJ that’s fine but I’m going by the simplest answer and what was told us. It’s not like they incorporate rl shit so if it’s 2022 it’s not gonna make the leagues of viewers panic, it’s not Greys Anatomy or SVU where headlines matter.

Also gravestones from that year matched it was 2020 then the TJ happened and few months and NYE so if we’re in 2021 then Salem is a year ahead of that.

I used be a big fan of Linsey Godfrey and Sarah but my appreciation of her acting and the character have declined sharply the past year. Perhaps they can bring back Stephanie or cast a new woman doctor to mix things up. They can’t have Kayla be the only doctor, she’s overworked and not very good at the job on her best day.

You know the fucked up thing was the Kristen and Sarah conversation needed to happen. As two adult women and with sincerity. Because Sarah DID spend a year raising and loving her daughter deeply and saw her through cancer. They should have a bond and strange appreciation for each other on the basis of this. But Ron doesn’t write profound moments or woman using emotional maturity. The way Kirsten’s been acting so consistently when Rachel is in school and goes out for the play and doesn’t get a part Kristen will break the directors kneecaps or have the star child shipped off and think nothing of it. She acts like there’s no consequences or accountability for anything. Brady and her gf Lani also enable that bullshit.

I actually got a little scared for Sarah and felt her fear towards the the end of the episode like “damn is this bitch really gonna kill her?” I don’t know if we’re stillll supposed to feel sympathy or justification for Kristen at this point, but if so they have completely missed the mark w me. There’s a strong contrast to when Sarah bashes Rex in the head and bound him in terror over losing her child, I felt pity for Sarah and I LIKE Rex the subject of her attack. Or when JJ had his fits of rage and was going to kill Kristen it was much more understandable or empathetic, his madness and crime. Sarah’s hair looked nice today. I’ve concluded it would look great w even a quarter inch more length or sexy if her clothing and attitude were different. You know what I mean? Like jeans and a tight t shirt, body con dresses, baggy flannel or blazer with a tank top or sports bra. Like ultra confident and curvy tomboy. Only one of Xander’s legs could fit on that couch. Never mind sleeping on it. I kinda hate those sofas there’s so uncomfortable but very common in grandma or great grandma’s living rooms and this was Alice’s OG sofa.
