  1. It seems that Mads out-Gary'd Gary this season. She treated him the way he has been treating the other stews the last few seasons. Just wanting him for sex and moving on to the next one when possible. I'm glad Andy pointed out that he was getting a taste of his own medicine. I don't like Daisy being reduced to tears, but I also didn't find anything Colin said objectionable. He was obviously bothered by what she said on WWHL and was trying to share his viewpoint. He admitted shared culpability in their toxic relationship, though at times, he was obviously very bothered by her rebuttal. I predict Daisy and Gary will mend fences in the near future. Hopefully Colin will sail off into the tropical sunset with his new/old girlfriend; a good life is the best revenge.
  2. I went back and rewatched and who knew! The guest who requested nonalcoholic bevs and then changed her mind was also the same nasty piece of work who was fighting with everyone. Maybe she was abstaining for a reason. Would love to see Captain Jason take them back to the port and let them off while the others party on. Looks like the casting directors found some crew with potential drama...a nonswimming, seasick deckhand, a stew who thinks she is all that and a bag of chips, and the chef?? more to come...
  3. There are so many questions about Gary and Daisy being together on this reunion, I posted a spoiler on the media thread. DON'T go there unless you want to be heartbroken...
  4. I hope they get to the bottom of the Daisy/Colin break up. She is rolling her eyes at everything he says. I've enjoyed the pointed questions at Gary. He has a lot to answer to this season and I'm glad he is being put on the spot.
  5. I think it had elements of the actual flamenco (the footwork looked on point) and had an updated vibe as well. I loved her look and thought it was a great showing.
  6. I was thoroughly entertained by the variety show. I would have had a hard time choosing just two winners. I think all the queens did a stellar job, each in their own style and creativity. Does anyone else feel like Ru just pulled the rug out from under us? I was a huge supporter of the Fame Games twist because the queens who are eliminated get to continue to showcase their runway package and the viewers get to decide who they liked the best. Now, two queens will have their votes doubled and tripled, taking the choice away from us. At least LaLa will now be able to buy some good fashion.
  7. You have some good ideas here. I think they were told not to use denim, though. I was excited for the homage to grunge and the plaid looks, but when they came down the runway, I thought the other team had executed their vision better. I love Prajjé's jacket and entire look. I also liked Rami's pants. I didn't care for Kayne's cape, nor Korto's giant puffer look.
  8. They are going to keep him around whether we love him or hate him, because he is reality tv gold. His antics make it easy for production to have a show with drama, love triangles and OMG moments. I think they had some fun poking fun at him this season.
  9. BDSY used to be my favorite franchise, but Gary has sunk that ship. I'm looking forward to the reunion just to see what transpired between Daisy and Colin that made her dis him so much on WWHL. It will be interesting to find out if Alex and Mads got together.
  10. Some of the guests seem fine. Randy (Ray) was the one that was completely out of hand. A few others made some not so nice comments, but nothing like the mess that Ray was. Maybe not the best advertisement for throuple-hood. Nobody likes to flush a toilet after someone else, but I think Lucy might just be a bit overtired and had an extreme response to it. Heck, if she had just gone in and flushed it down, WE all wouldn't have had to see multiple shots of it on our televisions. It's making me question my choices for entertainment.
  11. I guess Ru would get just desserts if Kandy were crowned, after sending home more talented and polished queens week after week. That would be a travesty, much like the rest of the season. I can see Kandy falling to the floor and rolling around to the final lipsync, as per her usual. Maybe it will be too much of the same ol', same ol' and Jimbo will win. Though the judges seem to love repitition....when it comes to K.M. I wish Heidi could be included in the Fame Games. She really had a glow up this year and is one of the most popular queens.
  12. The only consolation I got from this episode is that Jessica can now walk away with $60,000 as the winner of the Fame Games* (not to mention the other cash prizes she has won this season), and hopefully Jimbo will win the crown. I think it was so unfair to put the make over challenge at the very end, when so much of that challenge depends on the partner you end up with. All the partners were wonderful individuals, but there are other considerations, such as whether one has an outfit that fits them or their aesthetic. The final two should not be determined by a challenge with so many variables that the queens have no control over. * This is my prediction- obviously not a spoiler.
  13. I liked the premise of this challenge. Even though fabric choice is an aspect of the designers' talents, I wanted to see what each would do with the exact same fabric. It was enlightening that the fabric alone became a stumbling block for some. I'm so glad Brittany won the challenge. Her look was a reflection of her aesthetic (wow! that backstory-- I had no idea. I'm so glad she is doing so well.). She make that material pop with the top stitching and the details. It looked modern and fresh and the model showed how fierce it was. I didn't agree with many of the designers who were upset with Anna. I am not a fan of Anna's and wouldn't care if she were eliminated, but I think she should be allowed to use her signature ruffling more than once. In my opinion, this dress did not have the same silhouette or design elements (apart from the long, thin ruffle) as her design for the unconventional challenge. I actually loved her previous ruffled dress and did not like this one at all. I saw many differences between the two. I feel the designers who were so critical should have let the judges have their say and let it go. I wonder if Anna is being annoying or rubbing them the wrong way in the work room. I just don't understand their strong reaction. And the crying over Hester? I agree with Kara Saun that they need to put aside the negativity. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
  14. I am counting on the hope that Kandy isn't going to win a challenge, unless it is producer riggory. (Gigantic wire hangers and a catchy verse won her her only win this season and it still was debatable.) It would be criminal at this point to send either Jimbo or Jessica home.
  15. Silky is already selling t-shirts featuring this iconic lip sync. If she is going to lose to Jimbo on a lip sync, she is going to earn some coin!!
  16. Yes! The brief included celebrity royalty, so why the critiques against Viktor and Kayne's choice? Especially when showing a very costume-y look as an example. I still would have put their runway look close to the bottom due to over exuberance with the accessories, but I don't think they should have be dinged for their concept.
  17. I know I'm a sucker for gowns, but I have to admit I loved so many of these designs and even the problematic ones, I found something I liked about them. I would have put Rami and Bishme's gown right up there with Prajjé and Korto. I must admit, I loved what Hester and Fabio did-- I thought I would hate it when I saw the fabrics, but they absolutely pulled it off. I don't think the plaid is for everyone and another fabric could have elevated it, but it did seem fresh and forward. I'm so disappointed about the pairing of Viktor and Kayne. They were so diplomatic when working together, but it was to their detriment. I wondered if that corset would have worked under the purple fabric, peeking out. If not, at least get rid of that peplum-- way too costume-y. I have a feeling Kayne made a complete bodice to the dress in hopes of Viktor ditching the corset. They both needed to edit.
  18. Sh! Don't let Captain Sandy or Malia hear about this! 😉
  19. I saw a few time stamps, such as "11:50 p.m." I don't think this group minded, because they were foodies and I think they get a lot of pleasure from tasting the different courses. They didn't have any specific plans for after the 10 courses, so I think eating, chatting and enjoying the ambience was their entertainment that first night. Then, the second night, they had the pride celebration. I have to applaud Gary and Chase for the entertainment. It would be nice if Chase were invited back for another season. He's a hard worker and willing to play along with whatever happens.
  20. I thought the guests were a lot of fun and the crew did a great job with their requests and the Pride celebration. I loved seeing the 10 course meal Ileisha prepared and the rainbow themed food the next day. The guests were generous, too! That was a super charter!
  21. I've got to give it to the producers/editors. They really made a big deal of Daisy's sister coming on the show and then it was a big nothing burger. Even Chase didn't get any action there. This is one BD franchise where the crew nights out often end with people passing out. Maybe due to Covid, they don't dance at the clubs like other crews. They just eat a bit of dinner, smoke a bunch and slam alcohol.
  22. I've got to give Ileisha her props. She's been killing it this season. I was hoping the 10 course dinner wouldn't be her downfall, but they seem to be loving it. I missed complimenting her on the sushi she made last week-- was it "mosaic?" It was gorgeous! I actually yelled at the tv tonight when Gary was making the moves on Daisy. He is just a shit friend. Colin is right when he says he doesn't think he can trust him. Then, two minutes later, he is all over Mads. What a creep.
  23. I can't believe what I just witnessed! Why, Alexis, why? I actually was pulling for Alexis to make it to the finale and now I'm just so disappointed that she didn't eliminate Kandy. What was she thinking?!? I think she just dug her own grave as far as this competition goes. I'm now rooting for Jimbo and Jessica.
  24. I was pretty surprised Mila went home over Laurence. Although I really wanted to see more from Laurence, so that's a plus. But, this week her design was not it. Yikes. I was surprised the judges commented on her attitude, though. I just saw someone who is reserved and maybe didn't have a defense for her design. I thought Nina's point about how skill set should trump attitude in the industry was interesting. She's met more than her share of testy designers... I wish Mila had shortened the length of her skirt a bit. She may have had enough puzzle pieces to cover the entire thing. Perhaps if the bottom had been fuller and more complete, the top could have looked more cohesive.
