  1. I was just reading about the charges pending against Doug. They are shocking and he is dangerous and crazy. I'll try to put a link to the reddit post here, but, be warned, it is not for the faint of heart....
  2. I think you are right about that- Lacy would be all a-twitter about Chon, if he were still in the picture. I think the producers should have pressed Lacy about the arrest situation so we could know what happened. After all, she is on a reality tv show. She's not afraid to put everything else (literally) out there.
  3. I'm commiserating with the other posters from the US who were spoiled by social media (mine was a notification that was sent to me!). I will watch the final online this week, so I won't have to isolate myself until Friday. What an amazing episode! The bakers did so well in all the challenges (with the exception of some "technical" difficulties). It must have been excruciating sending someone home. I truly thought Jürgen would make it to the finals, but I am sure we will see him in a holiday special in the near future. He has so many excellent baking skills and a wonderful calming presence. I can't wait to see Giuseppe, Chigs and Crystelle bring it next week!
  4. Actually, yes, Prajje was wearing flowery gloves. They weren't elbow length, but short ones. I also noticed Katie had on the same shoes as her model.
  5. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I'll be giving thanks that my life is slightly better than these fools on tv...
  6. Yikes! Chon gave in and went back to Lacy. Guess they deserve each other.
  7. These crescent roll commercials are getting to me. I haven't had bread since June. Help!
  8. Lacy, you are the one who is cheating. How is Chane hurting you?
  9. Ray is going to dazzle the in-laws with his charm and personality!
  10. Derrick and Mama need to borrow Stan's straight jacket for Daonte. He's lost his marbles.
  11. Yes! I like Coral's work, but I didn't think her results met the collaboration challenge. Also, some have posted about the designers making matching looks for themselves... How about taking the design money and spending it on a blinged out headpiece-- Anna? I would have been fine with it if it were for her model or her design.
  12. I really like most of the designs Coral has done, but I was very surprised she covered up her design partner's hat. I'm glad she didn't win, because the accessory was unseen. I don't think she followed the spirit of the rules. I actually liked most of the designs this week. I loved what Anna and her partner did with the elaborate jewelry. I thought Prajje made a beautiful dress to compliment the floral gloves. Those gloves were a big statement, but I could see them being worn at a very special occasion, runway show or ceremony. Even though Octavio rubbed me the wrong way last week, I think this week he did his best work (although I wish he hadn't asked the hat designer to make a crazy-tall hat!) All in all, I found the competition this week to be fun and interesting. I wonder if the accessories ignited a spark of creativity in the designers. Most of them rose to the occasion.
  13. I am in agreement that the scene with Captain Lee telling off the unruly guests was scripted. I think under normal circumstances, he would be more diplomatic. The change in Justin from Day 1 to the rest of the charter was unbelievable- he seemed like a completely different person.
  14. Tonight on WWHL, they talked about how crazy it was for Lisa to have called 6 lawyers. Heather said, if you have more than 2 attorneys, you need to get a better one!
  15. Whew! That was quite the episode! I love how they showed how everything unfolded on the day of Jen's arrest. It really was movie-like. It was interesting to see how each of the housewives reacted to the news. Meredith and her relaxing soak was hilarious! Lisa definitely knows more than she is spilling. Several of the housewives seemed to have thoughts that Jen was up to some shady business dealings, although I'm sure they had no idea it was this bad. Can't wait to watch next week!
  16. Respectfully, I think you may have read something into it, perhaps HOPING that he hadn't served those particular sausage rolls, but alas! he did! In my opinion, the judges should have been told they fell on the floor and not to eat them. Judge them visually only. Of course, it really didn't matter much, even after his "macaron" failure and his low technical score, the judges still put him up as Star Baker competition. I will miss Lizzie and was thrilled that she went out a on high note. I wish her much success and hopefully we will see her again!
