A rather different obituary than I'm used to seeing. Most obits I read state "in lieu of flowers...", and usually suggest a memorial donation to a charity or non-profit. No, the Thores wanted flowers and money sent to them.

My mother chose my bedroom set when I was about 11, and I don't think I would've chosen white French Provincial myself. I think it was a popular choice in the early 60s. I did appreciate having a double bed and nice dresser with a big mirror. It stood the test of time as my younger sister used it herself and for her daughters at least until at least 2000.

It's a great city! Living in the Twin Cities, when I think of visiting the nearest truly big city it's Chicago. Great restaurants, museums, good public transit, and really interesting neighborhoods. I haven't been there in several years now so I'd like to go sometime soon.
