No, Campbell was removed from the show for using racist slurs. There is a post upthread about it with a link to a CBC article.
Wow, of all the shows to work on, then. I think this is the most multi cultural, multi racial show I watch.

So Campbell wanted to go to a new series so they killed him off? Anyone besides me think that Peggy poisoned him with her tranqs?

LJND pt 2 (which I only just got to see because some guy flew his plane into an electrical transmission tower on sunday night and knocked half the county out of power for seven hours (he and his passenger survived)) was very good. No Gordon, no Peggy, no Ross, no new coroner guy. Just ooky dead bodies and a weird cult leader. It would be nice if they kept this up, but I'm not optimistic about that.

I think they are only showing the first one on regular CBS and the rest will be streamed. There is a good deal now where you can sign up for Paramount + pretty cheaply (first month free and then $24.99 for a year). Especially if they keep up the language, they won't show that on CBS.
I am willing to watch, until it gets to the point it becomes the Garcia show and then, unfortunately, I will be out. From many of the articles I have read, she seems to be the one interviewed in all of them and I am afraid of what that means.
Netflix claims they will have the DVD's at some point, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for that.

Ok, so I liked it, but I watched it on TV. Are they not going to broadcast any more episodes? Because I'm not signing up for the streaming thing or whatever it is and watching it on my iPad.

So can Annika not swim or something? How come what's his name is always the one ending up in the water?

Gordon is hallucinating big time. He thought the delivery driver was after him.

So, half of this episode was about everybody’s personal drama? Ugh.
Can someone pls remind me how the victim got shot the first time?

-groan- Alright enough of the damn daughter already. What happened to the girl from the dance class?
Spoiler. (Unfortunately the shrink is in a few more episodes.)
I swear I was paying attention but I found the motive for this crime very hard to follow. Sounds like the victim was just a bastard and it was down to who *didn't* want to kill him.

Having been disappointed in the S1, I hadn't watched any of S2 yet. I might binge the whole season later on if I get bored enough. From the comments, I gathered I'm not missing much. Considering no one has bothered to comment on this episode yet, I'm guessing it's a really bad one?
Well, in our defense, this topic was only posted yesterday. 😊 My favorite line: “We play the rats we’re dealt.” 😄

Boy, Peggy's sure a PITA…and Ross is a grown man and can stay out all night if he wants.
Good on the restaurant owner fighting back, with a plank, no less.

The addressing the camera thing is not working for me.
And damn but I'm tired of tv characters' irrelevant teenagers.

Just finished the second ep; new guy is an asshole. Would not watch.
Am also tired of Jenny's whole family life drama. Let’s just stick with the body of the week.

I wonder what happened to the girl Robyn was going to mentor. I can't remember her name but she was in the system and Robyn found her while working a case. It looks like maybe they ditched that story and are going to do the same thing with Dee, though.
I suspect she'll show up as a plot device when they need her.

I know diddly about boats, but could one person handle all those sails on Piet's boat?
Glad to see—spoiler alert—the bad guys get theirs. Not surprised at all that… what's her name… killed the father. Not sad.

This wasn't bad, for what it was. I always had to watch with the Wikipedia entry on Da Vinci open on my ipad to see exactly how much liberty they were taking with history. Nice scenery and artwork, though.

Ok, so Donovan now feels he's invincible, and Jenny doesn’t have enough cel service to call her son, but magically has enough to call Liam's phone. Okie dokie.

I like this show, but just can’t get around that all the cops are…British. Could they not even fake Dutch accents?

Would love to see the series Annika, just don't have the channel Prime.😢 Nicola Walker looks like she's going to be great in the new season of The Split.
It's going to be on PBS in my market, after Van Der Valk finishes.
Seems to be basically a carbon copy of unforgotten.

I don’t care about the workplace romance crap either. Just find out whodunnit.

OK, was there any significance to the house at the end? (I.e., were we supposed to recognize it?)

The first bomb was overseas while he was a defense contractor; the second bomb was attached to Chloe in Philly and they defused it. (Unless I missed a bomb somewhere…)
