  1. I'm a bather and a bit of a germaphobe. My kids got nightly baths but I realize than in many other homes that's not the routine and those kids are fine and healthy. Alyssa and her family always look immaculately groomed and clean. They appear to be very happy and to enjoy an enviable family life.
  2. Just want to point out on behalf of Rebecca and Jack that at the dance, they did seek out Randall in the library. They made him go back and dance with the girl he was supposedly with. So there was an attempt to teach him consideration and point out his obligations to others. I think that was a great scene. As another viewer pointed out in this thread, it showed Randall's weak points as having been with him since childhood/adolescence. We all have faults and parents are not always able to erase them even though they may try.
  3. I'm happy that Tyeler won. I can't remember which one said it at the end, but when Jermaine met with his group to help him decide the winner, they all agreed that Tyeler was the best rapper. Since the show is literally "The Rap Game", that should be the most important thing, not style etc. I also appreciated Tyeler's work ethic. I don't recall her creating a lot of drama or irritating me with excessive boasting. Sire's bravado was over the top. His main accomplishment was making it on the show. Bragging that he was best of the best was premature. Nya was overconfident as well. Strong performances mixed with a humble attitude are so much more attractive. I liked that London was willing to help take care of Eli in an emergency. I hope she will be okay. I agree with all of you about the rap battles. I hated them! Sure it's a competition but I get no pleasure from watching kids be forced to rip into each other and be as ruthless as possible. I enjoyed the show so much more when they were all worried for London and offering strength and support to one another.
  4. Did anyone else catch that when Beth was complaining to Randall about the time she had to host both William and Kevin that she angrily referred to Kevin as "his white brother"? Kevin's race had nothing whatsoever to do with the situation and it was unecessary to reference him in that way. Beth knew when she married Randall that his family members were white. If it was a problem for her, she willingly entered into it anyway. Being in a mixed marriage myself, this sort of attitude coming from extended family members can potentially be quite problematic. Think if it had been reversed and Toby angrily referred to Randall as Katie's black brother?
