  1. Looking at her appearance on WWHL, it looks like maybe filler under the eyes, some Heather Dubrow cheekbones or maybe a brow lift with under-eye filler.
  2. So Miss Terry was incensed by a remark David made three months ago, but never went to David to talk about it? David apologized for said remark the first time he saw Miss Terry after finding out how upset Miss Terry was, but that was not good enough for the Dubrows? Miss Terry didn't believe the apology and proceeded to belittle David for his line of work and apparent lack of vocabulary. Apparently there was a change of plans, the Dubrows and Tamra decided Vicki's party was the time to try to take down the Beadors. No wonder Tamra and Heather are such good friends, they're both horrid people. When Tamra was BSing Brooks she couldn't have looked more like a weasel if she tried (no offense to weasels). Tamra and the Dubrows really make me sick, but I love the Beadors a bit more. Loved Christian saying he zoned out five minutes ago. Anybody else notice when Terry was asking the status of someone's relationship in the car on the way to Vicki's, he said "relaship" (like relay-ship). I've heard someone else say it like this before, not sure if it was on RHOC, but is this a new word I'm not aware of? I would think Miss Terry would have proper enunciation, being in the medical profession and all. Maybe when Heather is buying David a Thesaurus she can pick one up for Miss Terry too. Loved Lizzie's "I've apologized for things that I'm not even sorry for". And honestly, have these women left any black eyeliner for anyone else?
  3. The thing with the reaction shots is that you don't know from when in the evening they were actually taken. Ever. The producers like to pop whatever reaction they want to get across in at key moments. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't think Joe looked gay at either the Valentine's dinner or Lizzie's dinner. I also didn't see him showing any excitement from the 'reaction' they showed of him after Tamra asked Danielle her crass question. What was really disturbing was Terry's excitement after hearing that Tamra does anal. His incredulous "You do anal?" after hearing it was...weird.
  4. Late to the party as usual, but I had to comment on the way Tamra was acting toward Shannon. She really was disturbing with the screaming in Shannon's face to stop it, grabbing her face and trying to restrain her. After Shannon asked to be left alone and had to appeal to David to get Tamra away from her, Tamra was still trying to get in Shannon's face and grab her arms all the while having an angry "I've got to shut this bitch up" scary look on her face. You would have thought Tamra was afraid Shannon's talking was going to attract the attention of zombies or something. I definitely would have swung at her if she did that to me.
  5. This stuff is why I'm not bothering to vote this season. Has the show ever been about the best dancer winning, because it seems like it's more about the one TPTB want to win. It is part popularity contest so I can understand the votes being involved, but the judges will score to counter a large amount of votes or to rally fans to vote. As a viewer I don't want to be manipulated like that, or have my time wasted by voting when it doesn't matter. I haven't watched last night's show, but I see it was another Derekfest so I'll probably just Youtube the dances I want to see. Perhaps one day when all Houghs and CAI have been expunged from the show I might be interested in watching live.
  6. We got through to Ariana's first song before turning it off. I'm surprised to hear the last part of the show was better than the first since they usually bring out the 'best' skits early (or they used to anyway). I like Aidy but she sure was stumbling over her lines in the cold open. WU - Wasn't impressed with either of the guys (we haven't been watching consistently the last couple of seasons so I don't know if either or both are new to the job). Not sure if the delivery, the jokes or a combination of both was the problem, but the whole segment was boring and way too long. Only noticed the new guy Pete because he was pretty much in everything we saw. The Vet skit was in poor taste. They thought that would be funny? I watched for Chris Pratt because he's a funny guy, unfortunately he wasn't given much to work with. I just don't think SNL has it in them anymore. Even if someone I like is hosting, I'm not sure I'll watch. Now, a show with Taran, Aidy and Kate (and different writers) I would definitely look at.
  7. I hope acting isn't on Sadie's 'want to do' list along with DWTS, because that whole scene was so obviously fake. I can understand being disappointed in low scores, but Sadie just came across as an entitled brat who thought everyone would love anything she did. Of the three young women, Janel's dance stood out the most to me. She had plenty of content and did well, plus she and Val looked lovely dancing together. As usual, Derek had his partner waste time laying and standing on a prop without a lot of dancing. Pffft Tavis is on a book tour? Don't sign up if you don't have time, and what does that involve, traveling, talking and signing? Many past contestants have done much more arduous tours during their runs on DWTS, including singing and figure skating every night, in addition to the traveling. I've been a fan of Cheech and Chong way back to Up in Smoke, but I've been side-eyeing Tommy since I read that he was bunkmates in prison with Jordan Belfort, and he was the one who encouraged Jordan to write Wolf of Wall Street. Anyhow, he moved alright in his dance, but he didn't really do much. It was mostly the two in the back with the fans and Peta's 'here's my vagina' move. I thought Betsey looked lovely. I hope she stays longer than Michael Waltrip at least.
  8. I'm still laughing about Betsy dropping down in front of Tony's crotch when they were announced in jeopardy. His response was hilarious. I didn't really see any point in Lolo bringing up Betsy's prop mishap. She should've just said she didn't do her best and enjoyed dancing with Keo. But he couldn't say he enjoyed dancing with her either so I guess it's good they're done.
  9. Nothing against Bethany, but a 'what's in my purse' video got over 3m views? WTF? Anyway, just look at this guy, he's adorable (the cat's cute too). Plus Steve's in a band and actually is creative with his videos. He would've been a more interesting cast member IMHO. Take a hint DWTS.
  10. Having seen only the first two episodes, I debated whether to take the time to watch all the others sitting on my DVR. I decided just to watch the finale instead and I feel like I didn't really miss much in between. The whole twist with the supposed bad guys turning out to be the good guys reminded me of the revelation in Demolition Man that Edgar Friendly and his people were actually the good guys, and those in charge were the bad guys. I'm sure the plot was altered purely for drama, but I wish they had kept the nuclear war premise from the book.
  11. If they were going to cast from Youtube, they should've gotten Steve Cash and the Talking Kitty. That would've been fun.
  12. I didn't plan on watching once I saw that Julianne was going to be judging (even though Artem is dancing) but I thought I'd wait to decide after I see who the celebrities are. Lea Thompson is really the only one rumored I'd like to watch, and according to the list I saw, she's with Artem. Looks like I may be watching and FF through the judges comments again. This is all for entertainment purposes only, what with all the predetermined placing and manipulations they pull.
  13. I haven't seen the show yet, but here's a gif of Tamra running
  14. Bob and his attempts to get with Joy were the only thing still somewhat funny on the show, now they've screwed that up. I used to enjoy watching all of them, but this is so true. The storylines have been awful. I have put my DVR out of its misery and cancelled the series recording.
  15. I was never a late night show watcher, I don't like Letterman, Leno or O'Brien. But I discovered Craig a few years into his run on TLLS and he was must see for me every night for 4 or 5 years, and I even dragged my husband to see Craig's stand up show two hours away. I loved the musical cold opens by Craig, the interns and puppets (Oops, Istanbul), I enjoyed Secretariat for a good while, and although I didn't care for Geoff, I dealt with him. I enjoyed Craig's musical guests and was introduced to many I'd never heard of but now enjoy, Local Natives for instance. Some things I enjoyed were dropped like Prince Charles and his Late Late Programme, and other skits, especially ones with Tim Meadows. But once he moved into the new, larger studio, things just weren't as enjoyable for me. I was happy that Craig was moving up and CBS was appreciating him more, but the old studio had seemed like a more cozy and intimate setting to me. Other than guests I really wanted to see, I found myself FF through a lot of the show (especially the censor woman stuff) and eventually deleted it from the DVR. I've tried to start watching again since it'll be over soon. I did enjoy Ricky Gervais and Scarlett Johansson (sorry I missed Michael Sheen, he and Craig have always been great together every time Michael has guested) but the audience members in the cold open has just gotten old. Maybe it's just me but I miss the old Craig in the old studio.
  16. I had to lol at the start of the final. Devyn's in full makeup, Nany had some makeup on, but Laurel only had her game face on. I'm glad Laurel won, but I was impressed that Devyn finished. I didn't watch Johnny R's RW season, but I was really impressed with how he was on this challenge. Drama free and I think even if he hadn't had the luck he did with the draws he would've accepted whatever came along for him. Like Cara pointed out at the reunion, he was agreeable with whatever order they wanted to do the draws and just happy to be there. He was also impressive with his performance in the final. He beat Johnny (I refuse to call him Bananas) up the volcano by 32 minutes, and even ran the last bit to the flag. A great job for his first challenge. Too bad he didn't win. I liked how everyone cheered each person to arrive at the summit and the celebrating together at the end. That view from the top looked awesome. Johnny was right to acknowledge this was the most difficult challenge he's been on. Only he didn't mention that part of it was because he had no alliance protecting him and ended up in a few eliminations. That being said, he did win those eliminations and even if you get to the final you have to bring the physical to win. Which he did, and he wasn't mean to Devyn on that stage of the final, he even carried her. Still not happy he won. I really enjoyed the format of this challenge. So many variables thrown in, even though they could still use friendships to not vote some people in. Glad players finally grew some balls and started saying Johnny's name for eliminations. I also loved loved loved that it was only luck which determined whether you went into that last elimination game, no physical challenge and vote beforehand.
  17. She really does, and it's annoying how she can't stop messing with her hair constantly. I couldn't stand Zach when he was on BotS2 with Frank and I never really thought he was attractive. But he was totally adorable this season.
  18. What if this whole season was a dream?
  19. Shannon makes me uncomfortable. She's like a raw exposed nerve waiting to be plucked. Maybe if you stop constantly picking at your husband you won't look like a bitch, which you did on your own. The beach, cigar shop and restaurant were all the same day, right? Because she can talk about David's drinking all she wants, but she had tequila on the beach, then a drink at the cigar shop, then drinks at dinner. Even Vicki didn't drink any alcohol at the cigar shop. Shannon's behaviour at dinner was straight up rude to the others, I guess that Cotillion stuff didn't work out for her. Both at the beach and the restaurant David was aware he may have made Shannon mad or feel hurt and he let her know that wasn't his intention. She, on the other hand, has no concern how she makes him feel, just how things affect her. Kind of reminds me of Heather. Poor Brooks, after Shannon returned from the restroom, his "Can we order now?" sounded so desperate. And then he still had to wait for Shannon and David to finish their drama show outside before he could order his food.
  20. I always thought this should have given Heather and Alexis a better chance at being friends since they had twins in common, but apparently not. Heather must be the problem since she also has twins in common with Shannon, but can't get along with her either.
  21. I could make out Dilaudid, Oxycontin and Vicodin on the bottles so I can't imagine what she had planned for them except to take them herself. And as many as she takes, that stash wouldn't have lasted her too long. I too thought what someone else mentioned, that Jackie was asking Eddie for something to make a drug test come out clean.
  22. I don't get why everyone is willing to risk so much for Jackie. Even before this season she treated them all badly. Akalitus was giving Jackie, a drug addict, Vicodin on the job from her own prescription, something which is both illegal and unethical. The Akalitus of old would have looked into how pain management is handled for recovering addicts, not take Jackie's word on it. And she didn't even do it the way Jackie suggested, she got the prescription in her own name. Eddie giving Jackie all those pills blew my mind, he knows she used him previously for drugs, he helped her through detox and now he's just giving her a bag of pills? They all know there's a DEA investigation going on, don't they care about their own livelihoods? Zoey could be charged with obstruction of justice for holding onto the Nancy Wood ID and not telling what she knows. Why haven't we seen the DEA agent around asking for the ID and interviewing those who dealt with nun "Nancy Wood". Better yet, why didn't the DEA just go to the pharmacy where Nancy Wood was getting prescriptions filled and ask to see surveillance video. And maybe I'm cynical, but I don't believe Carrie is pregnant, especially by Mr. Low Motility. Maybe being with Eddie now, Slippers will get all the pain medication he/she needs, since Jackie was keeping it for herself. To me, that was one of the lowest things she did to feed her addiction. The bitch. And I'm totally not buying that Jackie hitting the ambulance at a relatively low speed would make all of those pills fly out of the bottles. Bottles with screw on and safety caps. Or maybe the hard plastic bottles broke open. I can see a few bottles coming out of the suitcase since she left it unzipped, but the pill carnage they showed was ridiculous.
  23. No, but thank you for this. Maybe if I think of her as Hyacinth I'll at least get a chuckle when talking to her. If Shannon and David's "banter" is about something he did in the past that she's punishing him for, they're better off getting a divorce. It will be tough for everyone, but eventually maybe they both can find others they'd actually be happy with.
  24. My next-door neighbor is like this. My husband is the one who usually ends up talking to her, but she's really good with the back-handed comment that you can't respond to in the manner she deserves (she's in her 70s). We'll ignore it but it really sticks in the craw. How can you respond to someone who does this without looking like the ass yourself? She's a deaconess in her church and has made the comment "we need to get you going to church" as if we're heathens. She then asked my husband to let her mow over the property line several feet so it will make her yard look bigger (she already has more property than we do). Maybe her church doesn't believe coveting is bad, I don't know. My husband offered to let her mow our entire yard. This GDLA thing has turned in to another Malibu Country, stop already. None of these women really have much going on to justify the show anymore. Shannon's voice and personality really bug me for some reason. I appreciate her being real, but damn, her poor husband. He may not be the best husband, but you can tell he's responding to however many years of being picked at by his wife. So Shannon's rant about "it" being on tape is in regards to Tamra lying about telling Heather the gossip about Shannon's marriage? I don't mind Lizzie so far. She really looks better with less makeup and when her hair is more natural. I'm not missing Gretchen at all, but it would have been interesting to see pageant girl and pageant wannabe interact.
  25. WTH is with Tamra's skin the last couple of episodes. I first noticed it when she smiled at the doctor's office. Her cheek wrinkled up so much it was like someone had removed everything underneath and there was just loose skin. Then I couldn't unsee it. It reminds me of that scene in "Top Secret!" where Val Kilmer is fighting with the bad guy at the ballet. Val's pushing on his face and when he removes his hand the guy's skin is still rumpled up. Her arms are as wrinkly as her knees, and her hands look like they belong on someone older. Maybe it's from too much sun exposure, because Vicki doesn't workout like crazy like Tamra does, but her arms and hands look much younger than her age.
