  1. Her name was Marianne Shockley not Michelle
  2. FYI: From WXYZ (ABC) Detroit: https://www.wxyz.com/news/2-men-who-moved-to-detroit-to-transform-dilapidated-homes-get-hgtv-show
  3. I worked for a hospital that is affiliated with a medical school and the hospital offers a wide variety support programs that are either free or low cost to both employees and patients. I would think that since Leneatha was an employee at the hospital and a diabetic that she could have at least had a consultation visit with the hospital dietitian/nutritionist even it was on a one time basis. Or when she was first diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure that the doctor or nurse would have given her advice on how to make healthy eating choices for both herself and daughter, but you are probably correct in saying that Leneatha is not interested in listening to anyone.
  4. I really don’t understand Leneatha’s situation. She works in a hospital and there had to be a nutritionist on staff that could have given Leneatha tips on how to plan healthy meals for herself and daughter, how to make healthy choices.
  5. I love the fountain that Ben and Erin put in the backyard!
  6. Pass the gasoline and lit match when you finished with them. I thought the same thing!
  7. “PrincessPurrsALot: From what we were shown, she didn't wash below the equator.” I was thinking the same thing. I also wonder how much the meal at the diner set Beth back. It could not have been cheap.
  8. “Carolina Girl: That scene in the beginning where Beth, who had worked all day, was ordered to pick up food for the human mountain range (and apparently also the boyfriend that showed up conveniently at dinner time) and wanted to just come home and cook really pissed me off. Snotted at by Gina when she asked if the lazy mound of fat could call ahead. NO YOU CALL! Because apparently dialing the number would take too much out of that sow. And then her mother saying "you shouldn't be treated that way." What the ever loving FUCK?? I turned it off at that point. I knew it was going to be one of those "I'm doing everything (chomp) I (chomp) can! (chomp). I hope Beth finds someone who appreciates her and divorces that worthless sack of shit. Anyone have a Twitter address for her? “ Why couldn’t someone else gone to the diner and picked up dinner? I did not see anyone say thank you to Beth when she brought in the food or offer her any money towards their meal. In my opinion, Beth seemed beaten down or depressed. Beth has the patience of Job and she deserves a lot better than Gina.
  9. I liked House Hunters better when Suzanne Whang was the host. RIP Suzanne
  10. I don’t know if this has been discussed before, but what is up with Steven’s feet and legs? One of his feet looks like a horse’s hoof. Does he ever wear shoes?
  11. “Kellyee: Selfish people never die.” Truth! “vintagesac: This Jabba The Hut took the cake (and ate it)” I could not stop laughing when I read this!
  12. "Mothra: I fully expected to see the "In Memory Of" screen at the end" Me too
  13. “AVM: Its a well known fact, some animals will chew off their own limb to escape a trap...” Good point
  14. Was it ever said how Christian and Maja supported themselves? Did Maja really think she was fooling Christian when she said she out doing errands when in reality she was eating at 4 to 5 fast food restaurants?
  15. TV One's UNSUNG Returns on Sunday, March 3 TV One's longest-running and award-winning documentary series UNSUNG continues its stellar run with eight new episodes debuting on Sunday, March 3 at 9 p.m. ET/8C. UNSUNG celebrates the lives of trailblazing musicians whose full stories and journey have yet to be explored. This season promises memorable stories of influential artists including R&B heartthrob Lloyd, 90s songstress Adina Howard, 80s family band The Jets, singer/songwriter Shirley Murdock, house music legend Crystal Waters, crooner Glenn Jones, vocalist Kenny Lattimore and contemporary gospel musician Tasha Cobbs-Leonard. Through first-hand accounts, interviews with family and friends, and archival footage, each episode weaves a tale of the highs and lows of a life in the limelight.
  16. “Libby: I think that they need the show money to support their current lifestyle, which is gluttonous…They are sacrificing their children’ privacy and dealing with many other impositions for gluttony, in my opinion.” I totally agree
  17. “winsomeone: Zoe needs to take her voice down a few notches…she is overly loud, talks over others, and talks excessively.” “winsomeone: …It is like they are afraid to cross her. She is just as out of control behavior wise as Will, just in different ways.” “BitterApple: I agree. Quite frankly, between the two kids, I prefer Will. He has his bratty moments but Zoe can be very bossy and manipulative. Bill and Jen are always walking on eggshells around her, like they’re scared she’ll withhold affection if they don’t let her have her way.” I totally agree. I much prefer Will over Zoey. I think he has a good heart.
  18. I did not catch the whole segment on the cake baked in an oranges, but what did Gesine do with the pulp and juice from the orange? Did she put it in the cake batter?
  19. “AZChristian: Or maybe Dr. Now is too smart to invest his money in a facility full of potential employees who have demonstrated that the hardest work they want to do is shoveling food into their mouths, with patients who have proven they have no desire to become well enough to be employees.” That is a good point
  20. “Trees: Every time I watch this show, I think of the business opportunity…A multi-purpose facility in Houston for the morbidly obese! The months Dr. Now keeps somebody in the hospital? This facility would take them for less $ than the hospital. The patients who need a place to stay briefly for their consults? Short-term living. Out-patient, open-to-the-public classes on healthy eating, cooking, food awareness, “chair-yoga”, etc. Food addiction treatment out-patient Long-term living, like a nursing, for the morbidly obese, with transport to doctor appointments. This would allow patients to move their alone instead of with all their families. A ‘go-to” weight loss support “fat farm” camp type of place.” I have often wonder wondered about this myself. Another selling point: the therapist(s) could come to the facility and meet with the patient then there would be no way for the patient to skip out on their appointment. The more mobile patients could also do some type of work at the facility to earn their keep. Maybe because of the initial cost or logistics trying to get the facility off the ground Dr. Now does not want to do this.
  21. “juliet73: All the shows on HGTV are the same: HH, HHI, HHR, BBH, Lottery Dream Home, Island/Hawaii/Mexico Life. Then add Property Bros and Love It or List It and that seems to be their lineup. All.The.Time. Every.Single.Day. The network needs to bring back the DESIGN shows: Designed to Sell, Decorating Cents, Divine Design, Curb Appeal, etc.” Amen to this!
  22. Didn’t anyone in the court, the Prime Minister, the archbishop or the press object to first cousins marrying and think it was unwise?
