Sorry for responding so late. I’m a few weeks behind. Didn’t they do this type of story line in TGW with Cary Argos and Lemond Bishop’s men? He was arrested and almost went to prison for telling drug carriers how to skirt the law…

I’m from Georgia and we had three sororities and two frats at my high school (this was in the mid-80s). Also, just because they went to a good school doesn’t mean they were good students. Money talks (and buys grades).

I felt like he was only pushing because Russia had already beat the US to it. And I hate how they kept referring to the women as “girls”. So belittling. I know it was realistic but that bugs me in real life too. But I am loving the show!

With Maggie, I’m wondering if they will be taking her down the “genetically pre-disposed to alcoholism” storyline with this failed surgery? Also, never liked Owen, still don’t. And Whitley needs to take the hint.

I actually like it, for what it is (brain candy/time filler...no thinking required).

I’m about 19 minutes into the second episode. When they’re in the kitchen, does June say, “alright Breaking Bad, let’s go”?? My closed captioning isn’t working but that’s what it sounded like. If so, Breaking Bad is a thing in their world? Or is that an expression used every day that I’m unaware of?

I just finished the last episode and wow! That was a crazy ride! Every time I thought I had things figured out, something would happen and I would realize I was way off! I know some folks didn’t like it but I really enjoyed it.

I started watching last night and I’m halfway through episode 6. It is indeed brutal!!
