  1. That annoys me about him too. He seems very pre-mediated all of the time. Whether it is trying to be Mr Fun Guy or Mr Sensitive, everything he does seems very fake. I think even the writers are losing interest in him.
  2. I think I would be more ok with females in combat roles if the females they chose seemed more like soldiers. I just don't "buy" this team in general. I think their lack of acting chops has a lot to do with it. Ahhh yes the good old days when the show was almost like the old James Bond films, Scott banging his way through life lol. It was a fun show back then. The last season with those two was a bit ordinary as well though. She is Australian then, I am Aussie and hate that really harsh Aussie accent. I was wondering if it was so extreme because she was trying to fake it. Yeah well that is the other thing, the obligatory bisexual character. I think just on her appearance alone there was always subtle hints she was bi but yeah I do recall she slept with the tech guy. I have stopped watching though as the quality of the show just dropped too much. And when would soldiers, supposed Elite ones at that be allowed to have the extreme hairstyle that bisexual female one has?
  3. Oh for sure. I know people who blame their bad choices on all sorts of things. In terms of the show and Bonnie it just came from left field and I doubt the story line will even continue. Ironic in a sense given it is about ADD, see what I did there? I agree. It's one of those pointless things they throw into a show and chances are we will never hear about it again. The problem is it has still disrupted and altered the character.
  4. There are just too many characters perhaps? We don't get to see enough of some of them to have any time to care because the focus then shifts to someone else? I'm not sure but I do agree, I don't care about the footman and the Duchess is attractive but that is where my interest ends. I think they ruined the Skerritt story as soon as they hooked her up with the chef. I think more could have been done with her. Feodora is annoying and serves no real purpose other than to generate more pointless drama. Victoria and Albert squabbling, that is the odd part for me as we know in real life Victoria mourned him until her own death. She was obviously very much in love with him but in the show it is like they are room mates at best and yet the kids keep coming. I think they need to correct this at some point otherwise, if the show lasts Albert will die as he did in real life and if they want to be accurate Victoria will go into deep mourning and yet based on what we have seen the question will be "Why does she care so much about him now?"
  5. I am having trouble working out how much fact and how much fiction they are throwing into the story. I know Bertie isn't the greatest growing up but I doubt he ever ran around yelling "England doesn't have Kings it has Queens!" the PC nuttery is really disrupting any merit it might have. I hate Feodora. I actually thought she might be someone pretending to be what she isn't when she first turned up but sadly she seems the real deal. No less nasty though. I don't like the new dresser either. Skerritt had femininity and some class about her despite being working class Abby if that is her name just comes across as more of a tavern wench. And I don't think Abby has the affection for the Queen that Skerritt did.
  6. I agree, it wasn't very funny either. Having her sit there and blame just about everything on ADD was pretty pathetic. We haven't seen any real evidence of ADD in her prior either. Simply being a screw up isn't enough to brand someone as ADD. Doesn't matter knowing how these shows work it will be forgotten about in the next couple of eps anyway.
  7. They can ask once, I guess although I find it to be very cruel. In these shows they start applying guilt trips and pressure. Why would I refuse an organ if someone else was willing to donate one? The world ain't a fair place Sarina.
  8. I get that the whole flashback thing was imperative to the show in the beginning. It set it all up, it worked well enough, not a problem. But it seems now they feel the need to continue with that theme. Creating silly storylines like the Vietnam one so in turn they could create the Jack's brother storyline which was also really boring and annoying. Get the idea that they will keep creating stories in the past so it impacts their present in some way? And what was with Indian family allowing them back into their childhood home, like you just allow strangers into your house!
  9. I guess but the Queen herself is also a foreigner. It is strange that in a time of patriotism that the country puts a crown on outsiders. Albert is so hopelessly bored. I get a chuckle out of how naive he is too. Anyone who appears to know what they are saying, any new idea and it is all so "fascinating" to him. I think he would allow someone to perform electric shock treatment on his kids if they sold the idea well enough!
  10. The footman in real life would have already been taken out back and flogged on suspicions alone! I do wonder what his plan is asides from the obvious. Seems like a hopeless future. Lord P is interesting as he does not care about anything around him although that chat his wife had with the Queen was unlikely. Talking about swinging with someone you just met and her being a Queen as well?! I liked Skeritt she seemed different but maybe the actress wanted to leave. It seemed she was written out in a rush.
  11. * DiNozzo was the heart of the show when he left the ones that came and went afterward were all just wall paper at best.Didn't care about any of them and some of them weren't even plausible as agents. (Oddly Michael Weatherly sucks in Bull). * The new Abby is a bore. In some ways it would have been more fun to go with someone really straight laced rather than try and do Abby Mk II. * It is a shame that the original Abby never grew up or advanced in her character. She was like a woman child never growing up, the goth thing was only fun for so long. * Probie is a great straight man to someone like DiNozzo but is not a great stand alone character. * Gibbs is looking real old and tired.
  12. I'm a bit odd as in I don't watch much TV now myself but my wife loves a lot of these shows so I sometimes sit and watch them with her. So if you are about to say "If you don't like them, don't watch" that is why! The heavier stuff.. * Medical dramas - Organ harvesting is a popular theme. For once I would like to see the grieving parents say no and stick to it. Then sue the hospital for trauma. As the hospital ALWAYS pressure them! * PC Propaganda - They aren't even creative about this anymore. The characters just make speeches totally unrelated to the story. It is so flimsy and poorly done. * LGBTIQ - Every show has to have this theme. The lighter stuff.. * When established characters talk about an interest just because it is flavour of the month. They have never shown interest in it before though. * When historical based dramas use modern morality and politics. The characters really just playing dress up now as opposed to a realistic setting.
  13. I loved this show and watched from the beginning. The second season threw me a little at first as straight away you could tell they changed the tone but it was still fun. I can't handle this new team though. I don't buy the women as warriors and the female with the semi shaved head is that an Aussie accent she is attempting? Sounds weird. The team can't act and the action is no longer entertaining either. I just don't care about them.
  14. Anyone else find Benny/Freddy really annoying. Character very pompous and a bad actor as well?
  15. I used to like Prentiss but I found it depended on what she was wearing. To be honest if I really think about it this cast of characters are some of the dullest in any TV show ever. I can see you will disagree with me on at least one though 🙂 On another note maybe Shemar Moore needs to return and explain why he chose a demotion to go to a SWAT team? I couldn't resist...
  16. Does anyone ever wish that the grieving parent just says no, sticks to it and then when asked a second time sues the life out of the hospital for emotional trauma? NOW that would be an awesome storyline!
  17. I have noticed this theme (Militant Nazi's/ White racists) come up a number of times in different shows now and it has become so boring. Actually it always was but they aren't even trying anymore with the political propaganda. Characters now just make speeches and as with Grover's story it is really weak too.
  18. Yeah what a silly thing to come out with and Reid can't tell one way or the other? They are very mismatched as well.
  19. Oh yes please. I have always found her character to be so annoying. It seems every crime show has to have an Abby from NCIS type character in it. Abby kind of worked, Garcia is just plain annoying. I don't see anything she does as that special that anyone else couldn't do. "OK baby doll, let me use the FBI's internet clearance to search for this address for you!" because of course the other geniuses on the team can't do that themselves. Maybe in the last ep she is walking across the road, wearing stupid style shoes she can't balance in, laden down with shopping bags full of nerdy crap. She loses balance falls over and a truck runs over her?
  20. Modern morality and politics in historically set dramas? I am not amused.
  21. This season really is boring. Anyone else sick of that little prat Bertie? And who didn't see Theodora as being some source of trouble from the first second they saw her?!
  22. Tying the deaf guy into the actual crime being investigated would have been better I agree. The amount of main cast members on this show bores me though and most of them seem to be some sort of intended comic relief.
  23. I thought the deaf guy story was really lame as well. What was the purpose of the deaf guy or Adam? Are there just too many characters on this show?
  24. Asides from Shatner none of the guest stars seemed to want to be there. It could be poor acting skills but I picked up a lack of interest as well.
  25. I totally agree. It was a really weak ep even for this show. Would they really have a fire fighter play detective? Should the 66 people be upset that they were placed under investigation by a fire man? Is Cruz the only one who does anything at the fire house, nothing seemed to work once he was gone? - They didn't even have any dinner ready that night as it was Cruz' turn to cook! The footage he recorded only showed someone walking to a car. Surely the firehouse has CCTV that would record the same vague images and from better angles?
