  1. I wasn't so sure but now I agree with this. If not a complete hoax, the story has giant holes in it and is confusingly told with many details left out.
  2. Definitely. I did not see a connection between them. Maybe at first but not as time went on. Ironic, as they were supposed to be twin flames themselves. After watching for a while, I thought he was gay or closeted. Closeted was my guess. She gave off an asexual vibe to me.
  3. I’ve never watched a Bachelor or Bachelorette episode or season but tuned into the Golden Bachelor out of curiosity and got hooked. It seems typical of reality shows that careers and net worth are exaggerated and people’s backgrounds are scrubbed, exaggerated, etc., so it didn’t surprise me that a lot of this was illusory. Some of the women’s jobs sounded odd or exaggerated too. Anyway, I was all in until the family visits with the final three. Talking with the families, talking seemingly sincerely about love with and kissing all three of them—this was both sort of gross and absurd. I felt like it had to be producer-driven because I really had no idea who he liked best—it all felt identical! And that was weird. He had connections with all the families, showed about the same interest and passion towards each woman. I understand too why producers do it, so we watch, but by the end it backfired for me. I thought Leslie was annoying and sad and not a good choice for a partner for anyone, but seeing her destroyed emotionally was awful! It cast a pall over he and Theresa getting together and I went from liking the show to hating it. The two of them seemed awful to me to have made to the end of this competition with like the dead bodies all around them. And I had liked them together and thought she was the right choice for him, but it’s just tainted for me now. I don’t want to see them anymore or watch another group of people go through this!
  4. Those were beautiful houses/properties! Was that Leslie’s apartment? I liked Teresa’s and Faith’s houses, yards, etc.—so lush and green. The city vibe in Minneapolis was cool too. Nice families. Leslie bugs me for some reason. I’m not sure why. She seems off. Faith seems like a happy person overall. I wonder if his wife was Italian? Maybe Teresa is sort of familiar. I think he will pick Leslie because I have the sense he is physically attracted to her the most. But it’s a tough call and after this episode feel like I really can’t guess.
  5. I watched this a couple of days ago and this is the part i keep thinking about for some reason. The neighbors' reactions seemed so odd! Editing? Also the Barnetts' neighbor in the big-checked dress also seemed like kind of a creep. Also, was there was a mention that she was attending adult school or something when she was living on her own? How did she do this? Online? Did she go to a school? How did she get food like the donuts? Delivery? Did she have any spending money? Did she even have a stool to stand on to open a cupboard? Then there was the visual of her dragging the big trash can. Crazy.
  6. Very interesting discussion. One thing I’ve always wondered about: where did Mia get her money from? She didn’t work that often before her films with Woody Allen. Did she get a lot of child support from Andre Previn? She came from a rich family but I believe there were six kids in her family, so I’m not sure she inherited a lot, but maybe she did. It would cost a fortune to raise all those kids. How did she do it? Are Hollywood salaries that high?
  7. I was shocked by Ghislaine Maxwell’s role in all of this. She was as bad as he was. What a creep.
  8. There was no chemistry between Varya and Geoffrey. They seemed like strangers. They were on different planets, as far as I'm concerned. In the car ride from the airport, he seemed eerily calm, like he was checked out of the situation, after seeing her and realizing they don't have a connection. I don't see this one working. He struck me as a whiny baby and she was having none of it. She seemed annoyed by him, and he was just gobsmacked at the lack of connection.
  9. Matt's a control freak in a passive aggressive way. She was all over him, he leaves. She wants to have sex all the time, he stops sex. He then pontificates about relationships to everyone and I think he believes his own b.s. He's got the situation how he wants it to be, he's in control now.
  10. I was waiting for Jamie and Beth to get physical. That fight was scary.
  11. Jasmine is a strong person. She is critical and controlling. She wants a strong man but I think she's only going to get someone who will take her criticism and that's going to be a weak man, who will be allow himself to be brow beaten due to his lack of self-esteem. Will seems like a good guy with healthy self-esteem. Thus he is frustrated with her criticism and her attempts to control everything. I wil be shocked if they stay together.
  12. Simon was one of the strangest people ever seen on reality TV. With his rug and his red leather pants, his craving for attention-- he was comedy gold.
