I think it was from Sleepless in Seattle, when Meg Ryan’s character tells her fiancé all about Tom Hanks’ character, and how she was supposed to meet him. Then, she looks out the window, and sees the windows lit up like hearts in the Empire State Building, and says she has to go.

I assumed Ava (Eva?) deleted them, and all of Max's files, when he moved upstairs. I thought Max himself seemed a little surprised they weren't there.

The scene was after she told Simon she was done with him, but it was boss Zoey who told him to go after what he wanted. "I'm Yours" Zoey told him she'd miss sitting across from him every day.

Maybe the AIs are creating something like the Stepford Wives, and Wilkis was part of it. So the Benny we originally saw was a normal human, but then once he was keeping an eye on Wilkis, WIlkis killed him and created an AI Benny (outlandish theory, I don't really think this is the case). I do wonder if Benny and Helen are human/AI hybrids, and Piper is the first fully synthetic AI, and that's why they are so anxious to get her back. She represents the next step in their evolution.

They can, if the friend has given permission. Often on admission to a hospital, there is a form you fill out that says who can and cannot be in on a discussion. When I had emergency surgery a couple of years back, I was able to put on the form that my husband, and ONLY my husband, could be in on the discussion. If anyone else were in the room, the doctors and nurses couldn’t say anything until they left (unless I gave a verbal “this person is ok.”)
