  1. In "Lethe", there was a bunch of ASI's that were in development apart from Samaritan, including Able Danger, Genoa and Genoa II, as well as decoys such as PRISM. Bit disappointed in this episode. The Greer suffocation made no sense whatsoever and dirty Samaritan cop missing the fact that Fusco had a bullet-proof vest is dumbing down characters for the plot. I wonder if The Machine could've been saved from Ice-9 by air-gapping it from all networks. Can't get infected if it's not connected to the net...
  2. I think that scene was really foreshadowing the Jamie/Cersei split. He kept going on and on about how the love Cat/Cersei had for their children were their main/only redeeming feature. So what's Jamie going to think when Cersei's so far gone that she not only burns Kings Landing with wildfire (the prevention of which was one of the things Jamie's most proud of), but kills her last child?
  3. I saw this speculation on the Unsullied thread, and I'm liking this idea more and more. Assuming he heads back to the wall, I think Bran will not be able to cross the wall with the mark that the Night King gave him due to Wall's protective magic, and end up doing something that either weakens or outright collapses the Wall trying to get back. A "Bran the Breaker" to bookend his Builder namesake...
  4. Another possibility is that Krystal was in the general vicinity snooping on Dyad, when the shot went off. Because she's not the type to just pack it up and go home after she's freed from Dyad. So whilst she's sneaking around, she hears Delphine get shot, THEN goes to the parking garage to check it out and finds Delphine bleeding out and calls an ambulance.
  5. Any shots heard by Shotseeker would be "sanitised" by Samaritan as false alarms, assuming Samaritan allows the shots to be registered at all. Samaritan's spoofed electronic trails for its sinister purposes before, like in last year's episode "Prophets" about the election pollster.
  6. The injury from the mind control chip surgery being inconsistent is another tip off. It's usually on Shaw's left side of the neck, but in reflections/mirrors it's on the viewer's left and Shaw's right hand side.
  7. Faking incompetence isn't a good long term plan. Phillip & Elizabeth might be able to stall for a little while like that, but as the whole Jared debacle proved, Centre wants a Directorate S offspring for future operations so badly that they'll do whatever it takes to get it, so they won't wait forever. There's also the risk that Centre will just recall Phillip & Elizabeth back to Russia if they think the pair are becoming a liability.
  8. This is also why I don't think Adele is a plant. Kira's historically been really sensitive to any clone related shananigans, so Kira's ease around Adele suggests that she's not a plant. On the other hand, Sarah's confirmation of Felix and Adele's blood ties seem off to me too, above and beyond the existing awkwardness, so I'm coming around to the theory that Adele's actually Felix's mother, even though I think the actress is pretty young for that to be the case.
  9. Or some form of synthesis where The Machine merges with Samaritan.
  10. Second scene with the Russian hacker Bela about 25 minutes in. Bela: Rumour had it, that the underworld's most elite assassin was taken out by the so called "Man in the Suit". But I always figured you were too clever to be done in by some gun for hire. Root: Just needed a change. Got a new job. Fell in love.
  11. Or maybe the JonCon greyscale doesn't matter, and the Jorah greyscale is meant to be a more dramatic TV stand-in for the Pale Mare, and Jorah will become the Typhoid Mary of Mereen?
  12. I agree that Jiaying had never entered into those "negotiations" in good faith, because she rejects SHIELD's premise for them in the first place. Without a legal mandate, SHIELD are nothing more than vigilantes and she had no obligations to even talk to SHIELD, let alone hand over Cal & Raina or comply with indexing. And those seem to be Coulson's minimum demands, not just Gonzalez's, even if Coulson might be nicer about it. I don't think anyone's seriously debating that Jiaying's false flag operation is wrong, but SHIELD are acting like bullies here. If SHIELD was serious about actually negotiating (as opposed to strong-arming), they should've started off with a meeting between the leaders + a few bodyguards in an agreed upon neutral location. New!SHIELD are acting like it's business as usual post-TWS, and that's one of my big issues with them right now. It's like they haven't learnt anything from the whole Hydra debacle. They're following the same standard operating procedures, same attitude, same command structure, same leadership that allowed them to be infiltrated in the first place. Gonzalez might be wrong about a lot of things, but demanding more transparency and accountability from SHIELD's leaders isn't wrong. I think it's telling how Coulson & Maria Hill reacted to Gonzalez's demands, and even though it's played off as a joke, I think their attitude is exactly why they shouldn't be in a leadership position at new!SHIELD. Just like Fury shouldn't be allowed anywhere near SHIELD after the Hydra screw up.
  13. Does SHIELD even have a mandate to operate right now? As I understand it, post The Winter Soldier, SHIELD is a rogue agency with no legal authority to demand anything from the Inhumans. If that's the case, Gonzalez coerced this meeting through force and this whole screw up is SHIELD's fault.
  14. Like many of the other posters here, I think Zinaida's been acting rather suspiciously since her defection. However, I think it's for a more innocuous reason than Stan. My theory is that she's a genuine defector, but has greatly overstated her value as an asset as a member of the US/Canada institute. I think she's just a low ranking pencil pusher or perhaps even just a secretary/personal assistant to a higher ranking officer and doesn't have any solid actionable intel to give to the US. So now she's desperately trying to publicise her case through media interviews and ingratiate herself to the US to garner sympathy before the gig is up. It explains the lack of reaction from the Rezidentura because while the PR stunt is annoying, she can't really damage them because they know Zinaida doesn't actually know anything important.
  15. Creepy kid was giving me flashbacks of Mass Effect 3.
