I think that was creative license or Navarro hallucinating. There's an excellent documentary titled A Certain Kind of Death (on YouTube) about people who die without anyone to make burial arrangements. For the indigent who are unclaimed after a period of time, they cremate. First was the cremation process, then it cools and is raked into a pan and put through a grinder type of thing before being boxed. Ask A Mortician goes into much more detail about exactly what happens at each step:

A Certain Kind of Death is a really good documentary. I saw it at a film festival back when it came out. That was what I immediately thought of when I saw the opening scene.

I just recently started watching this show. The concept is interesting, but I can’t believe they don’t have more measures in place to stop George from doing what he’s attempting to do. They should have him under 24 hour surveillance and not let him be involved in any missions. He should be receiving intense counseling, therapy, etc. It’s hard to believe they haven’t had to deal with this same scenario several times in the past.

I think this article gives a pretty good summary of what happened during the season.

In the last shot of Iris in the cab, we see a KYAL building in the distance so if the cult still exists and Iris is there maybe a sequel is possible.
Yep, I just finished the final episode and came here to see if anyone else noticed the KYAL building at the end. Everything is definitely not completely back to the way it was previously in 2023. This certainly leaves the door open for a second season.

What was Juliette doing with her fingers behind her back when they were walking to Judicial?

So... people on the Silo don't even have a clue about what a planet is, what a sky is, what stars are....
Did this happened on purpose? or because the rebellion destroyed all history?
But really.. I can't just accept that people who knew about history till the rebellion, they din't pass it orally to the next generations.
So I can only assume they keep them ignorent on purpose.
The truth is we do not even know if it was rebellion who destroyed the history archive or they just pinned it on them.
And why the Pez is so important? In other news, if you live in the Silo and you have knees issues...
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Some of the higher ups must have knowledge about the world that they are keeping hidden for some reason. It seems like at least some of this would still be passed down.

They don’t have any knowledge that they’re on a planet or anything? No knowledge of how the outside world around them even works?

This show is like Snowpiercer, but vertical.
Yeah, with a little bit of Wayward Pines thrown in.

OK, that was pretty bonkers. It started out with a bang and didn’t really slow down from there. I’m definitely in. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

How much time has passed between episodes? It seems like they’ve learned a lot about the cause of the condition, etc. pretty quickly.

I did wonder why they were all so scared of him. Then he smacked that girl. I didn't think he was as nice as he was letting on. I don't know where they were, and I wondered if they were in the area where there are some religious groups who marry young girls, and multiple women.
I think the sign on the post office said Colorado.

I recognized the woman's voice, and sure enough, it was Elaine Miles from Northern Exposure fame!
Yes, I immediately recognized Marilyn’s voice.

Did not enjoy this episode. It was my least favorite. I felt that it dragged and was boring.
Yeah, the best thing about this episode was The Breeders song in the credits.

Tom Waits sang the opening number.
That was a great way to start the episode. It’s always good to hear Tom Waits.

Wait, I thought Tanya was confirmed for next season? Was that said in the press to throw us off?
Yeah, Mike White hinted that she would return. I guess he was throwing us a curve.

Now I think this Season is about blackmail. Tanya may have a fidelity clause in her prenup and Valentina just may have a new lounge singer. Lucia seems to be coning Albie for money or a ticket to L.A. Ethan and Cameron? Jealousy but I am lost on a reason for that.
I definitely started getting the feeling that Lucia and the guys following her are trying to pull some sort of scam.

Poor Tommy. I liked the Sherriff’s monologue as mercenary and pragmatic as it was. I’m glad that Tommy finally committed to a path. Not sure how he is going to manage this as the assassin was getting killed at the same time the sheriff and Pickett were being killed. Time of death will establish this which makes Bob a poor fit as a patsy. Liking Tommy better even before he used the doodad. He had a lot less of that ‘aw shucks’ stereotyping this this episode.I don’t think Pickett is dead.

You can’t take an ankle monitor off without setting off an alarm. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of the thing.

I just finished this and really enjoyed it. There are still lots of unanswered questions that I assume will get cleared up if there are additional seasons (like the scene in the park with the bee and the story about Gideon running over the dog.)
One thing did get answered. I guess we now know how Lucy was able to quickly subdue Aiden’s mother when she attacked Lucy.

S03.E01: Lone Wolf
in Resident Alien
I’m pretty sure the movie is “Communion”. The stuff about owls being a cover memory for aliens was in the book the movie is based on, and I’m pretty sure it was in the movie but it’s been a really long time since I’ve read the book or seen the movie.
