Funny, I thought the complete opposite. I wasn't totally hooked on the series until the last few episodes. I thought the last 2 episodes in particular were the best of the entire season. I'm hoping for a 2nd season now, I do think it will help if the team moves up to the next level at the end of this season - to add to the excitement. But I'm confident they're talented and creative enough to make a 2nd season enjoyable and entertaining.

I used to watch the show but stopped a few seasons ago, just check here now for updates occasionally. Thanks for letting me know I'm not missing anything, not surprised though.

Agreed. And he was laying it all out, getting it all out there, she's the one person he hadn't told Claire about so it cleared his conscience . And it obviously worked because it defused the situation with Claire and she calmed down after it. I liked that whole scene.

I can tell the show's trying to hint at something with the lingering shots on her and occasional sly smile. The stables though was the first glimpse to me that she was maybe up to something. But I thought the scene in last week's episode(603) where Jamie happened upon her in the woods made him look creepier than her, quite honestly. LOL. Whatever it is I'm ready for them to get on with it. They marketed the heck out of the Christies before the season, but so far they haven't amounted to much. Especially the son Allan.

Same, this was my least favorite episode so far. Though Ian's backstory was interesting, I didn't need the better part of an entire episode devoted to him. I'm ready for the season to pick up. Get on with the Christies already. It was the most interesting part of the entire episode, I thought.

They have a lot of videos on their @team7lj tiktok account and I just looked and they do get a lot of hits on them. So I’m guessing they are making money, which means there will be no end in sight to seeing more on the show since I’m sure that helps to get more views.

I don't watch the show anymore, I just check here occasionally to see if anything actually interesting happened with them (and it never does), but my take on their dumb TikTok videos is that it's all just to make a buck. if they can get enough hits on them, they can make money as influencers. It's really tiresome and their videos are never funny or clever, and I'm wondering if they actually do get enough views to make any money.

Same. It took me 3 separate attempts to watch this episode. I fell asleep during my first attempt. And lots of weird, random, or cringe worthy moments. The Cherokee women all over him was dumb and what was up with the dead lady waking up at her own funeral?? Just so many WTH moments. Too many to list.

I liked it more than I thought I would. I thought the continuity from previous seasons was great. And I’m generally critical of that. And happy that the chemistry is still there. Sam and Cait are such good actors. The Fergus development was odd though, but I guess they want to add some drama there. I too think the ending was really out of character for Claire, not all that crazy about where they might be going with that. Her voiceover about ghosts... they’re obviously setting up something with that. Interesting!! Overall I liked it! Going to rewatch it tonight.

Same for me. I follow a lot of Outlander related accounts on Twitter and never heard about it either!!! And I read a lot of fans complaining about it being Paul, no one mentioned Sam’s shout-out.

Ok I thought Ron left, but his name is still in the opening credits so I was just confused. I remember Sam & Caitriona pushing to be named producers in season five because so many of the writers, directors and producers had left and they were worried about continuity and quality. I was thinking Ron was one of them.

I barely remember this season at all. I flew thru it and haven’t rewatched any of it. Was this the first season Ron Moore was gone as showrunner? I think they lost their good writers and directors too this season.

I thought it was a snooze-fest. I kept checking the time remaining, the first time it wasn’t even half way through. Really hoping it starts going somewhere soon🥱

Agreed. Sloppy. And during Alex’s interview with Laura, I kept getting distracted with the views out of the ginormous windows overlooking NYC (I’m assuming). It’s supposed to be early February yet there are flowers outside the windows and sailboats in the water?? Wasn’t a fan of this episode in general, hopefully it picks up.

Haha! No, haven’t sailed away but wish I could!! Lol. Life has just gotten busy for me. I took on a 2nd job a couple months ago which was bad enough, then we got a puppy last month, it’s my son’s but he still lives at home so we all know how that goes and who ends up doing everything😩. I realize now that i’m too old for a puppy!! So yes, I’m struggling to find a blade of grass to hide behind (Lol) to find time catch up on things. But hoping to read through all of the threads here that I’m behind on soon. And I also agree with @Cdh20, 2nd half of season 3 isn’t my favorite either. Unless Lord John is in it. Right now I can’t even remember which episodes he’s in this season. Too braindead. Lol
