  1. So, this episode clarified a lot of things. - Malivore is not as bad as everyone believe him to be. His existence is still not good whatsoever, but there are no other species in the school than Vampires, Witches and Werewolves, so if the Triad didn't "bug" him enough to hunt them too, he should not be a threat to them. - Ryan Clarke is NOT the season's big bad, it's MG's mom and Triad Industries as a whole. - Landon could be a combination of a lot of species and we can expect to see more supernatural powers from him in the second season. - Josie is currently stronger than Lizzie. This could be wrong though, as the emotions of the twins were much different during their fight. Lizzie was simply frustrated by Josie's behavior, while Josie was actually angry and annoyed by Lizzie and meant to hurt her. - The Merge should be one of the main plots of the second season. I don't expect them to do a big flash-forward, so if the Merge has to take place, it will happen in Season 3 or 4 at least. Most likely they're going to find a way to break the "curse". And finally, I'd like to talk about next week's finale. And more specifically about the preview's final scene, the one where the Triad agent is about to shoot one of the girls. I think that the shot we heard is Clarke's and he's going to kill this guy and save the girls. After all, he and Landon are headed for the school and the Triad bastards are already there, so the confrontation is inevitable. And to get all the artifacts he need, he must win the trust of Alaric and the other people in the school and explain them everything about Malivore. I can't think of a better way to do that than save one of Ric's daughters and/or Hope's life. On the other hand, I still find it crazy that 3 powerful witches are being cornered by a mere human with a gun. They can just turn the gun and shoot the dude between the eyes with just one word imo. I can't wait to see what's going to happen!
  2. So they didn't even wait to kill Emma off to screw Alaric up - again. Damn Julie, if I remember correctly, she said that there will be no love triangles in Legacies before the start of the series. And right now, she's giving us like 3 of them - Alaric, Dorian, Emma; Hope, Landon, Rafael; Lizzie, Josie, Rafael (considering the twins still have feelings for him, but I personally think they don't). I'm probably the most anti-Posie fan in the world and I skipped both of their kisses on 1x06 and 1x11, but Raf's sudden interest in Hope and jealousy towards Landon makes me think that he should just be the lonely wolf of the series. One thing's for sure - Julie totally messed up the pairings this time and I'm not going to be paying lots of attention to any of them. And last, but not least - Lizzie's character is getting much better with every episode and I'm really falling for her. I liked her in the beginning, I liked her being "bitch", but she's even more like-able now. I wish the twins had a bigger role on this show, they're much more funny than emo Hope.
  3. Jughead. And since I'm a man lol, I'd like to say that Cheryl is the most beautiful female on the show!
  4. He was 17-year-old, but not a virgin. Remember Valerie? Back when TVD and Julie really wanted to get rid of Nina's legacy on the show.
  5. Is it me or a mid-season finale is supposed to feature every main character? I mean, yeah, Landon's absence was understandable, but he still got mentioned at the end. Where the hell were Josie and Lizzie? According to Kaylee Bryant, Josie's not gonna be around in the next 2-3 episodes, I think she will be absent from episodes 8 and 9, too. I would assume that we won't be seeing Lizzie either. This is too much imo. Other than that, I liked the episode, it was pretty decent. Raf got his closure with Cassie and he should be able to move on from her now. I hope he's going to choose one of the twins and just try to be happy again. I really hope that he's not going to be the "gigolo" that Hope called him. The Necromancer is by far the best creature so far, I really hope we'll be seeing him again. He didn't seem that evil/bad after all, I guess he can be redeemed, sort of. The Salvatore school has to be expanded in terms of supernatural species and by the end of S1 there should be some new guys. I'm still not giving up hope that we're going to see Kitsunes in the TVD universe one day. It could be mainstream, but they're canon in the books so Julie should just give it a try, even if they're antagonistic and not necessarily attend the school. P.S. There will be a lot of waiting until January 24th, so can anyone suggest some series I should watch? I don't think she can do that. I don't know whether or not she compelled someone on TO, but in Legacies premiere she and Alaric waited for MG to try and compel Landon. It could be a plot hole tho, or maybe Julie just forgot about it.
  6. They might find a way to save some of the creatures from Malivore (or free their minds so they no longer seek the knife, something like that) and take them to the school, although it's highly unlikely. It's monster of the week format so they're going to keep killing off new creatures every episode, except some upper tiers like that Necromancer guy. My guess is that he dies next episode, though. By the way, Dorian was wrong to call the Necromancer a "low-level witch cannon fodder". Probably he has never played Diablo 2.
  7. Plec is one of the worst showrunners in history, she literally destroyed TVD. Season 7 and 8 were BS and they ruined the legacy of the previous 6 seasons. They shouldn't have even existed. I can't say anything about TO though, I haven't watched it past the middle of S3. The first 3-4 episodes of Legacies were really good, then came episode 5, and then 6, and it's going downfall real quick, at least for me. It's probably going to be renewed for a 2nd season, but it could and should be it's last.
  8. I was loving the show in the beginning, but the last two episodes seem illogical to me. You set up something in the previous episode and then you completely ruin it in the next, without even mentioning some of the things or taking them under consideration. Rafael being honest to Lizzie this episode was the 2nd best thing that happened, the other being Jo, just for the nostalgic vibes. Everyone knows that I didn't like their brief romance at the end of last episode so I'm glad he cleared it up and by the looks of it, his girlfriend (probably another zombie) is being brought back next episode, which is certainly going to develop his character even further. Basically, that's what I don't like about the show - Penelope acts all bitchy during the first couple of episodes, then she suddenly starts caring about Josie and then even kisses her. That's messed up dude, she's supposed to have dumped her and broken her heart, what the hell. Rafael lost his girlfriend, expressed interest in Josie, he was hurt by Josie's decision to let Landon go and then slept with her sister, just because he "was angry"?! Pretty much - I hated Raf last episode, I liked him this episode. I loved Penelope last episode, I hated her this episode. And they're just the example I'm giving, they're not the only ones. The show's constantly changing and it's pretty messed up, Julie doesn't seem to care about what she's setting up the previous episode and then ruining it in the next one. I really, really, really hope Posie doesn't go through, it just doesn't feel right at the moment.
  9. I agree, Landon himself is not the threat, it's the knife and it will keep attracting monsters, so they're still in danger. Anyway, we all know Landon's coming back, they're probably going to reveal he's "something" supernatural by the end of episode 7 or later on during the season, but I guess it will be the mid-season finale. --------------------------- I'm not pretending anything, she just said that the whole school is "family" and she won't risk putting it in danger anymore. Last time I checked, Rafael was part of the school, too. Although it was obvious she was talking about Lizzie and Alaric.
  10. He didn't even hear what Josie said. She was doing this to protect her family, because the moment Landon stole that knife, the monsters began to look for it and what followed was: - Alaric could've been fried by the Dragon; - Lizzie was hurt and nearly killed by the Gargoyle; - Alaric jumped in front of the Gargoyle to save Hope and he could've died if he wasn't human (i.e. if the Gargoyle didn't want to "protect him"); - Josie and Rafael himself would've been killed by the Arachne if it wasn't for Landon (which is kinda odd though) and later Hope. Josie wanted to protect not only her family, but Raf and Landon too, that's why she voted for Landon to leave. She thought that sending Landon away would stop the creatures from coming to the school and threatening it's inhabitants, but it won't and Landon will be back at some point, this time for good. I'm guessing episode 7, because next episode will be mainly focused on the Saltzman family.
  11. I'm really looking forward for a decent movie with Kaylee Bryant. I just watched Mary Loss of Soul, but honestly, it's a waste of time. Really bad movie. It's categorized as a horror, but it literally doesn't have any scary scenes, not even jump scares. It sucks, I hope she films some romantic/teen movie in the near future. As for Jenny Boyd, I think I'm going to watch the movie Hex. Surprisingly or not, it has 10/10 on IMDB, which is really rare to say the least. Don't care about the rest of the cast whatsoever, I'm okay with following them only on Legacies.
  12. I'm kinda starting to dislike Rafael, to be honest. I liked him initially, but I hated the way he treated Josie in this episode. He ignored her completely because he was being selfish imo. Raf and Lizzie only had like 1 scene together so far in the show, and he told her that he doesn't like girls like her in it. But, despite that, he came running to her when he thought she'd be the witch representative, asking her to vote for Landon to stay. And Lizzie being Lizzie just agreed to help him and even asked him to be her date on her birthday, knowing that he's going to owe her a favor. I never thought I'd say that, but Penelope was the best character in this episode. She was right for everything she said. I just want Josie to make a stand really soon, I want her to tell Lizzie that she likes Raf as well, that she kissed him etc. Let's see what's going to happen then. If Lizzie took what Penelope said, she's going to back off for the sake of her sister's happiness. But if she didn't and she keeps being... well, Lizzie, she's going to cause a great strain to their relationship. On the other hand, it looks like Rafael's going to be just another Damon from S1 - hooking up with everything that breathes lol. He used to love his girlfriend deeply, who died like, 1 month ago? His school files say he has feelings for Hope, and no matter what everyone's saying - he expressed genuine interest in Josie in episode 4, not just the kiss and their whole web thingy. And now, one episode later, he sleeps with her sister. What the hell man, just pick a girl, at least Damon knew exactly who he wanted. I really, really, really hope that Jo from next episode is really Jo. She's the best person to make things right between the twins and, as we can see in the promo, she already has some sweet mother-daughter moments with Josie. Knowing Plec and taking the ending of the promo into consideration, it's not even Jo to begin with and we're only going to see Jodi Lyn O'Keefe for 1 episode, which, well, sucks.
  13. Ugh, here we go again. Josie kisses Rafael in one episode, he tells her that he's fine with it, and in the next, just because she does something that he doesn't like he has a one night stand with her sister. Typical for a teenage drama, I don't know why there are so many positive reviews, but I'm kinda disappointed that I've waited 2 weeks for this. I don't really know what happened with "there will be no love triangles". Then again, it's not the first time that Julie contradicts herself, she does it very often. From the promo of next episode it looks like MG is Lizzie's date after all, and honestly, I won't be surprised if Rafael is Josie's, which would make absolutely no sense, but that's what Julie does. Apart from that, I thought it was alright. They said that we might get a hint at who's going to be the Big Bad this episode, so my guess is Landon's mother? Penelope also won me, I didn't really like her until now, but she doesn't seem that bad to me now. She's actually a pretty good written character, unlike Lizzie whose character just keeps getting ruined. Also, for next week - I really hope they don't screw up and just make fun of my favorite TVD mommie once again... They had their fun in TVD S7, they should not mess up again! #JodiLynO'Keefe ❤
  14. They needed a role for Landon that could keep him in the show on a regular basis. I think Hope has the regeneration of a vampire, she can heal herself and others with her blood, although I might be mistaken. Her healing was confirmed in 1x03, but we don't know if she was using her wolf side or her vampirism. And lastly, I don't think Lizzie and Josie even care about the Gemini Coven that caused so much pain and, eventually, killed their biological mother. I don't think that the show is going to last until they are 22, unless we get another one of Julie's favorite time-skips. They have absolutely 0 reason to merge or restore the coven, unless one of them turns evil in the future, but nah, it won't happen.
  15. Haha, no, he's not dead. He was 25 when he was turned, and, of course, when he was cured (same as Elena, as she's also 25 at the end of TVD). And as he was cured in 2018, he and Elena should both be 36 in Legacies. I'm really hoping we can see them at some point, at least Damon, because I don't know if Nina's ever coming back after the TVD finale. The show's awesome, but it would've been ever better if Bonnie and Caroline were recurring characters. I mean, Bonnie's grams was a professor, so Bonnie could've been a teacher in school. Not to mention that she's the perfect mentor for the twins... Caroline doesn't even need explanation.
