  1. You are correct! In the scene in the cafe, Mo winked at the little girl before she hugged preach. The entire Mo storyline has been such a weird and non consistent add on. Whatever the hell she’s planning on doing should have been over and done with by now, yet the writers have drug it out for the entire season.
  2. Wow. They should have honestly just put Jamal In the casket then.
  3. A main Lyon dying and having Kingsley be the replacement (you know, actually change up the show) is the only reason I would be excited for season six. As it stands..... 1. Empire (the main focal point of the show) got taken away from them, and they had to start from scratch, though they managed to (unnecessarily) get it back. 2. Lucious and Cookie re-married. 3. Andre got married and is about to become a father. 4. Jamal got married and the character obviously doesn’t want to be in the family business anymore, so he could easily leave with Kai forever. 5. The idea box has run out for Hakeem, so he gets scraps whenever the writers remember he’s a character. 6. Becky and Gisele are starting a label. So why wasn’t this the final season again? Why should I care about the Feds being after Empire (again?) Why should I care about Lucious and Cookie breaking up (again) when they’re going to get back together?
  4. This episode pretty much confirmed to me that the writers had no idea what they were doing this season, especially with this casket mystery. From trying to make it seem like Diana Dubois would play a role, to Hakeem barley getting anything to do, the whole season seems unorganized. Looking back now, majority of the earlier flash forward hints don’t connect or come together at all. 1. Wasn’t Lucious supposed to be alone with the casket at some point? 2. Becky was supposed to be there saying “you couldn’t have known” 3. Detective Conway wasn’t the one who showed Lucious the pictures of Cookie and Damon. The reason behind that was completely different as well. 4. At some point, Lucious was supposed to be confused and covered in blood saying “What did I do?” The cliffhanger sucked and I’m pretty sure that’s how the “twists” are going to be for the rest of the shows time. You can’t get much bigger than losing the entire company the show is based around. Season 5 should have been the final season and focused on them getting Empire back/ starting a new one and letting it end. With how boring and messy this season got, I’m honestly not interested in season (surprised that they got it) 6
  5. Going into politics with a family is one thing, going into politics when your wife just lost her job, your daughter is questioning her sexuality and your other daughter is dealing with her birth mom still in the picture is a completely different story. Let’s also not forget that this new task of his will require him to be gone alot. The problem with Randall winning is that it does nothing but give us nine more episodes of him acting like his latest “it’s about William” escapade is more important than his struggling family which he increasingly neglects every season. The fact that there’s not really any consequences for him is also a problem to. He acted like a real jackass towards Beth during their last two fights, but the writers just wrote a speech and made it seem like everything was A Okay.
  6. Not really interested with the random Damon character, but Cookie and Lucious’s fight had me shaking my head. Cookie should have told him, but I don’t blame her for her secrecy. It’s hard to think Lucious has changed when he constantly says stuff like he’s doing/did everything himself. Wasn’t interested in Jamal, and haven’t been all season. Not like that’s a bad thing. It’s probably to show that he’s the only normal one with his shit together. No Candace. Your son choking you isn’t normal at all, and I wish she relized that instead of acting so petty. I’m waiting for her to actually give another solution to the Franklin problem that doesn’t end with them getting killed. Hakeem wins dumbass of the year for leaving his gun out and treating Tiana like shit. We all know nothing happens to Bella, but I’m wondering how they’re going to saftly get it from her when she’s holding it, and looking down it like a collidiscope. This whole storyline is unnecessary. Just another stupid variation of Tiana and Hakeem breaking up because Hakeem can’t stop acting like a headass. Oh and Maya is living with them for some reason. Cool? I wonder what was going through her and Junita’s minds when they heard all the fighting.
  7. This episode definitely lived up to the hype that the promo’s were making. I began suspecting that Jeff was Lucious’s son for a few episodes, so I’m glad to see that my and others theory came true. The only problem I have is that this leaves the possibility of Kingsley being the one in the casket. At this point, it’s to obvious. I would be happy about Quincy getting out, but we all know that it’s not gonna be that easy. Some craps is gonna pop up during or afterwards. I would also be happy about Hakeem finally maturing, but the Blake rivalry is still in the upcoming episode descriptions. I hate what they did to Blake’s character. He saved Hakeem and Tiana from death.... why would you ruin all that? Jamal’s storyline has been really chill this season, and I hope it stays that way. Not gonna lie, I was a little bit scared when Cookie and Carol walked in on Franklin beating Candice. That was the best scene of the shows history. Judging by the promo, I’m just gonna guess that Candice tells Lucious about Cookies secret loft. She seems like she’s gonna be out for revenge. Hopefully she sees the light before she goes to far. Your son was going to kill you and your sisters. What else was there to be done? It was nice to get the one second mention of Diana Dubois. Hopefully she makes an appearance again. They kinda just dropped that.
