  1. Well she disappeared so you are forgiven for forgetting. I don't know why they did that but then again I think the TV Show ruined Good Witch. I loved all the movies but the TV show, not so much.
  2. I don't watch the show on live TV and have to wait for Netflix but this has been happening for a few season's now and I think it's such a shame. She is the witch in "Good Witch", there should be lots of tales to tell by just focusing on her B&B like it was the 'Love Boat' with every week a guest has a problem that she can solve. Maybe a little bit of the town thrown in for filler. I stand by my first assessment that the 'Good Witch' franchise should have stayed movies and not become a TV show. I like her first husband Jake so much more than the dull doctor (or is he a surgeon?)
  3. Correct, that is where I am right now. So I'm so far behind that everything is spoilers to me.
  4. Lee was my favorite character after J&E; he is flamboyant (plaids and stripes), knows what he wants and goes for it and always looks on the bright side. He is the only character on the show who was allowed to grow, at least a little bit from riding his motorcycle into town with nothing but the clothes on his back and a large bank account, building his lumber business to marrying his love all within a couple of seasons. However, even he seems stagnant now, he still lives in an old house with outdoor plumbing when the has all the lumber needed to build "the largest house in town" (his words after getting back from his honeymoon).
  5. Funny you should say this, I actually don't like Kevin on Heartland specifically because I only saw him on Heartland AFTER he came on WCTH as a replacement for Jack. I'm not too fond of his long face, he looks older than I think he is, and he always seems to have a confused look on his face. It totally spoiled his characters on any show after he attached himself to the WCTH debacle.
  6. I'm not watching but I'm curious what they did with Abigail's cafe? Elizabeth and Abigail were best friends, and many scenes set in the cafe, with Lori gone did they recast Abigail or did she go the way of Rip (the cool little dog) and just disappeared to never be mentioned again?
  7. Yes, the show is in perpetual change now. The producers are trying to 'recapture' what Elizabeth and Jack had without any emotional buy-in. The only reason I watched the show for as long as I did was Jack and Elizabeth. It was like I was watching something really, really fake, and I knew it, but the Jack and Elizabeth storyline was compelling enough for me to give a pass to the ridiculousness. Then they killed Jack to make Elizabeth in a perpetual 'love triangle,' but now I don't care. Now Elizabeth is part of the fakeness, walking around with a baby prop, and it makes the show unwatchable for me.
  8. I started watching this show only because David Boreanaz was staring in it after 'Bones' finished it's 12th season and I loved him on that show. But I do think he is too old for this character and it's unrealistic that he would lead a Seal team. I actually lost interest in this show after the 1st season and completely lost interest after his wife died. This show just started to feel to 'fake' and unrealistic to me but all TV is, so there is that. I did follow the actor's Instagram for a while and saw all his 'I'm getting buff for a new role' posts. And his real life son also went off to boarding school for hockey but dropped out after his first year, he could not make the U17 team. So I'm guessing David added his character's son going away to boarding school for hockey to mirror his real life. But I don't know any real man and father would make the choices his character made after the wife's death other than to keep the show going. So ya I guess no David (Jason), no show?
  9. Me too, love the scenery shots, and all the snow which seems to fall in some scenes, but in other scenes in the same episode, the sun is out and no snow on the ground. That is the strangest part of this show for me, but I guess mother nature does not abide by the episodes 'continuity'!
  10. Start over again at season 1, that's what I do. 🙂 All the actors are so young in season 1, and it's fun to watch them 'grow up' again and again.
  11. I can't speak to season 12 but season (as I only watch via Netflix), but 11 was not as good as season 10. And from a couple of episodes, I did watch of season 12 (when they were posted to youtube before they were taken down), I agree with you about that new kid. It's not even that he is the Georgie story all over, it's just that his storyline does not fit. The kid actor is not very good either, the actor that plays Georgie is great even as an 11-year-old, she was very believable. I liked Georgie better than Mallory because Mallory just grated on my nerves, she was so whiny. I also liked Lou in seasons 1-8, then her character takes a turn for the worst. I do love this show, but it just seems like they should either come up with better storylines or end the show on a high note, maybe with a transition episode with Amy and Ty move into their new house? I don't know, but I hate it when a great show does not know when to take a curtain call.
  12. I would buy Nick and Grace romance much better than their parents, which is what we got. I think this show should go with the weekly BnB visitor with a problem that Cassie magically knows how to fix. I mean that would interest me but I just don't buy Sam and Cassie, no magic there.
  13. I hate that I' live in the US and can't see season 12! I love this show but I only watch it via Netflix and they only have through season 11.
  14. I know I'm behind the series because I'm in the US and I only have seasons 1-11, but I did watch the entire 1st episode of Season 13 on YouTube (until it gets taken down) and I through it slow and tedious. I do not like that new foster kid, Luke. His character does not fit, and the kids acting is pretty bad. Perhaps I need to get to watch all of season 12 to see how his character was introduced and his backstory, but I'm not impressed so far. What is with Tim acting like an ass to the contractor building Ty and Amy's new house? Why keep Tim's personality be such an ass, I would think that his character would show more growth in 13 seasons. I like this show from season 1-10 (season 2 being my favorite), season 11 was just OK, but I'm fearing that the writers are becoming lax and sticking to old storytelling and I don't see much character growth. I hate to say this, but perhaps it's time to end this show?
  15. 1st, I loved the movies way more than the TV show. 2nd, The actor that played Jake, Cassie's 1st husband could not get away from 'Heartland', his other TV show so they made the decision to kill him off. If the TV show is consistent with the timeline, it time jumped 10 years from the last movie. 5 of those years was spent happily married to Jake and the last 5 years was being a widow and moving back to Grey House with only Grace. The other two original kids (Lori and Brandon) go off on their own as they are adults. 3rd, I actually don't watch this on TV, only Netflix and so I won't actually see that scene until next year. I'm hoping what you and other posters say is true and season 5 is better because I just finished season 4 and I did not like it.
  16. Nope, should not have too, Jack’s mother did not remarry. Elizabeth is wealthy, no need for a husband. She can remain true to her soulmate for the rest of her life. It Was what my Grandmother did, my Grandfather was her only true love and she loved to tell me stories of him. It’s why I married my soulmate, can’t imagine life without him. Happy to the end.
  17. I just finished binging on the entire 4 seasons, and I must say season 4 was great. Season 3 was the weakest of all, I can see why it was originally cancelled, there were too many episodes that seemed out of order or just simply filler. Yes, I do hope we get a season 5 and this would make a great 10 episode arc. I did like the ending as Lucifer is back in hell and it was by his choice this time. He now understands that his actions can have huge repercussions on earth affecting the humans he now considers family. If he self sacrificed to protect his human family, has the devil been redeemed? His wings did go back to white as he flew off.
  18. ITA! Because it was only a 10 episode season, each episode was more robust and had meaning, no filler episode. I think the Dan character is the only one that remains clueless to all the celestial beings he interacts with every day (Ella as well be she can see an angel so I think Dan is the only one that is a 'normal' human like us). So he is a mess because nothing makes sense to him and he feels completely at a loss and out of control. He thinks Lucifer had something to do with Charlotte's death because no other reason makes sense to him. He had got to blame someone. And it does not help that Lucifer plays practical jokes on him.
  19. Oh how I wish I had that option! Ya, I was there in real-time and it was horrible. I now say the show ended for me at the wedding and J&E are happily married raising their kids but I lived through those last two episodes without any foreshadowing and it was horrible. Looking back I know some people think they could have seen it coming but there was no social media from any of the actors, producers or directors that this was happening. At least with Lori, you knew they were removing her so it was just seeing how that would happen. With Dan there was no soft landing. I thought I was watching Hallmark, the happy endings channel. I was hit by a shock grenade as it was so unexpected. As folks have said, this was not Game of Thrones where you expect shock and sorrow, this was puppies and kittens...until it wasn't!
  20. RIGHT! Either this show is a period drama (in which case it should stay true to point and time) or it's just a bunch of modern day people in early 1900's cosplay. Season 1 was true to the period, after that every succeeding season became farther and farther from even trying to be in period.
  21. ITA! Such a waste. And after all this I'm not happy at all with the actress Erin Krakow. She was given Executive Producer credit for season 6 after Dan left. I do think this was a pay off to make her stay on so Bird and LL could keep getting paid. She said in interviews that as EP of the show she could help Elizabeth's character stay true to Jack's memory. And she said Elizabeth this season was going to be all about her and the baby. But within the first couple shows she has Elizabeth flirting with the saloon owner in the street. Just seem disingenuous to me. In the WCTH fan base so many people just 'love' her and Bird, almost to the point of idol worship which just seems weird. When I did follow her on twitter, her page was all WCTH, she was all Lori and I are 'besties' then when the Lori scandal broke she goes dark. No comment on anything and then comes back up with the same trite 'happy' quotes taken from the show. I actual don't want to see her face on any show now, something just does not sit right with me.
  22. I do feel this show was hijacked by Brian Bird and LL, forcing the white, christian perspective and he used that to sell the sad ending of Jack and Elizabeth. The whole Jack Jr. being born on their Christmas show like he was Jesus left such a sour taste in my mouth. I tried to watch but I could not. Now it's like Jack never existed. How can anyone go back and watch season's 1-5 and not feel betrayed by the image of the Hallmark happy ending? Elizabeth is now a player with two men? She is now a women who's 'chalk dust to eternity' was a very short trip, she has moved on even as she still has an infant? Perhaps if I just started watching now I could have liked this show but it's all too much for me. But I guess I am truly in the minority; not white, not Christian, happily married for 31 years to my soulmate and still upset that Hallmark ruined my old favorite show.
  23. Yes, I get that. But what they did to Elizabeth and Jack is unforgivable. And after watching for 5 years, I have had to stop. It could have ended with Jack and Elizabeth going on to the Northern Territories together and then the spin off show for all the 'other' characters. Why watch now? If people are entertained with sad endings, and continue to watch after what they did to Jack and Elizabeth, makes me believe they will do this over and over, not what I watch Hallmark for.
