  1. Sherri tweeted this article about tomorrow's show, (and what's airing the rest of the week): Sherri Shepherd Bids Farewell to 'The View' on Monday, August 11
  2. @kaygeeret, hey for half of Whoopi's salary, I'd put up with the year of Babs, the two airheads, and the revolving guest co-hosts. And, I don't have a high tolerance for stupidity, but for that $$$ I'd suffer through it!
  3. Grilled teriyaki boneless, skinless chicken breasts, with fried rice, and an Asian chopped salad (a bagged salad kit).
  4. My gawd, Sherri, STFU!! And, GROW UP! Btw, how nice of you to spend yet another long weekend away partying with your pals when you yourself just tweeted that you're about to start filming a movie in two days. You could have spent the weekend with your son before going off to work on the movie, and then the play.
  5. I get what you're saying, @kaygeeret, but for Whoopi's huge salary, she should be willing and able to put up with it for 4 three-hour days, about 40 weeks a year.
  6. Not a fan of S.E. Cupp, but I think Rosie is being given too much power and she doesn't want someone who will challenge her on the panel. She'd rather have the more moderate Wallace. Plus, she knows she and Whoopi will team up against the lone "conservative". I realize what I just posted won't be popular, but it's how I see Rosie and the new direction of the show. IF they want to be political - which I totally don't think they should do, because they suck at it and they turn it into a screechfest - they really should be more balanced than one moderate conservative out of four or five panelists.
  7. You could not pay me enough to watch Guy, Blaise, and Marcel together in one show.
  8. Ha, I implied the same thing in the RHoNJ Media thread. He's totally overcompensating.
  9. It would be more fitting if it were Little D-bag No Class Troll Week.
  10. Overcompensating for his two inch... I just hate this guy and want to see him slapped down.
  11. Forgive my ignorance, but what the heck is "First Look"? Is it an episode preview on Bravo's website?
  12. We finally watched it and I thought it was just a big snooze. I don't like the format and it left me wanting another real season of Top Chef. Or even Top Chef Desserts would be better than this while we're waiting for a new season of Top Chef. I was never a fan of Richard Blais, but he didn't bother me too much either. Having not been a regular reader of the Top Chef forum at TWoP, I'm surprised to learn now that so many people hate Blais a lot. Marcel was one I never liked, even though I think it's terrible what those idiots did to him. He always kind of annoyed me, but less so in this episode. The format is boring with just two chefs, and none of the dishes particularly interested me. The burger course could not have been more boring. I thought that was a dumb choice for Blais to select as a challenge to Marcel, as if Marcel couldn't make a good burger. Also, we've seen a million variations of burgers and I expect more from Top Chef. I've always hated the egg on burger thing, and Marcel's looked impossible to eat. Richard's kimchi ketchup wasn't innovative either. Boring challenges, the judges are kind of blah, and it definitely seemed very contrived. I'll try one more week before I decide to delete the DVR timer.
  13. Because he's a loser wanna-be attorney and it kills him every day of his life. He's nothing more than a sleazy salesman, first for a string of pharmaceutical companies, and now for a mortgage company. He's a liar, a fraud, and a scumbag.
  14. Exactly! She's just trying to backpedal now because she can't take the backlash. Her little sleazebag husband very much wanted to be on this show, just like she did. He wanted the attention, plus the free advertising for his shit mortgage company. I really hate these two lying losers. Btw, Amber's going to be on WWHL tonight. The description on my Dish satellite guide says: Ha ha ha. It will be interesting to see how much spin she tries to do tonight.
  15. A quick look at Sherri's Twitter and Instagram makes me wonder why she feels the need to tweet and post pics so much. This weekend alone, she has tweeted about 75 times, (including retweets), and posted on Instagram almost 20 times. FFS.
  16. So, I finally tried 5 Guys last night and I think I might be in love with the Cajun fries. Freaking delicious. I'm afraid that they're what will be luring me back there sooner than I should go again. Surprisingly, our kid even liked them. That's a good thing because it made me eat less. A large order of fries is huge! The regular fries are very good too, but I love the Cajun fries. I went all out and had a bacon cheeseburger. I can't even remember the last time I ate one of those, other than one I've made at home which isn't too often at all. I usually skip the bun, but what the hell, I said I was going to splurge. The burger was good and juicy, and the roll was very fresh. I got it "all the way", which is ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. Plus, I added grilled jalapenos to it. Totally crazy, I know. But, it was gooood. I'm blaming all the posters here for making me curious enough to try it! Damn, ignorance was bliss.
  17. LOL, @GaT . It really is fun reading about everyone's likes and dislikes. It sure makes the world interesting!
  18. I went with Italian, but Mexican is a close second. I like Japanese and Chinese too. Decisions, decisions.
  19. I could live on pizza, bagels, and pasta with vegetables and a lot of garlic (no tomato sauce). Sadly, I usually watch my carbs and don't really eat that way (anymore). I'd never get sick of most Italian food, Mexican food, or sushi. Also, salads are something I wouldn't want to live without. I could easily give up all meat before I could give up vegetables (both cooked and raw in salads). I need garlic and hot pepper in my life. If I had to give up cheese for life, I'd probably cry.
  20. Mr. LB accidentally bought that shit once because it was on sale. Now he knows enough to carefully read the label and avoid anything called "frozen dairy dessert", and make sure it's real ice cream. Ours ended up in the garbage disposal.
  21. Totally agree! I hate cranberries to begin with, but that jelled crap in the can is disgusting. My husband likes to keep small cans in the house because he slices some off and puts it in his turkey sandwiches. So gross. Just the sight of it makes me squeamish. I can't even say what it reminds me of...
  22. @mansonlamps, I didn't even see the green and white set back when I ordered the stainless set a couple of years ago. I just checked now and I see them for $9.03, which is a good deal. In my last post above, I mentioned that when I ordered the stainless set they were $10.54 but now they're $14.88, (free shipping with Amazon Prime). But, now today I see they've changed the price again and they're $15.39. I guess I got a pretty good deal a couple of years ago, since the price is now almost 50% higher than what I paid. My only suggestion with the green set would be to hand wash them. I hand wash my stainless set and they've held up well after a lot of use. With the green set, I was just reading the Q&A on Amazon and one person said they got warped in the dishwasher, and one person said the lettering wears off over time, (even with hand washing).
  23. Tonight's episode on ME TV (8:00 to 10:00 pm ET): This was the fourth episode of Season 2, according to Wikipedia.
