  1. As a public school music teacher, I've produced many talent shows and agree that "Hallelujah" has been run into the ground. However, on last night's show, Christina did the best job. That's why they closed the show with her. This season it seems to me that there is an overabundance of dancers. Maybe it's just me.
  2. In reading several comments abut Darci Lynne, I have been thinking that she is getting to the age when teenagers become a little rebellious. She may be getting tired of it after doing it for so long now and may want to spend more time with her friends, which is normal at her age. She's 15, now. 3. This is exactly why people have the opinion that children that young should not be in these kinds of competitions.
  4. I have a one-word description for this episode: DUD.
  5. Kelly Clarkson is from Texas. Not sure how she was a non-US judge on this week's show. I agree about the non US contestants.
  6. It will be interesting to see if they go without him like they did when Heidi was sick, however, I can see Simon in his elegant robe, judging from his sick bed.
  7. I learned a new technical aspect in this show that I had not known before. Some of the guests are obviously wearing earpieces. When Faux Dolly was asked about singing for a certain president, she hesitated, touched her ear, and finally answered, "Bill Clinton." I guess sometimes the liars need help.
  8. Joplin died at age 27 in 1970. She belongs to an exclusive club called "The 27 Club", comprised of celebrities who have all died at that age, usually of an overdose. Jimi Hendrix was a member. Lindsay Lohan was a prospective member until she passed that age. My objection to Courtney was the producer hijinks of having her pretend that she was so shy and then coming out like a madwoman Joplin clone.
  9. Has anyone noticed that he seems to be getting rather thin? That is a concern due to rampant rumors.
  10. My thought was," How dare you ruin my art work!", but I guess that this one was a fresh one made for Doris to trash.
  11. He could have also mentioned Danny Rolling, who killed five students at the University of Florida and was known as the "Gainesville Ripper." He made national news, but was not as notorious as Bundy. Picking the correct one would also depend on the knowledge of the panel members, who are usually in their own worlds.
  12. Well, the detective who helped catch Aileen Wuornos was easy for me to identify. We are good friends with the undercover detective who was in the bar with her when she was caught and had been pretending to be her boyfriend for three days. We've watched the documentary on the ID Channel several times and had seen this detective on there talking about the experience. Scary.
  13. I liked all three places in Muenster and could handle living in a studio apt. I don't see these two staying together. She has some hang-ups and I cannot imagine romance between the two. Signed, Dr. S. Freud
  14. My son was six months old when this show premiered, and I used to sit him where he could watch the show (frowned upon now). His name is Jeffrey and when Johnny announced THIS IS JEOPARDY, it always got his attention, because he thought that they were saying his name. Today he is 36 and very knowledgeable on trivia.
  15. Yes! All I could think of was Bloody Mary, and I knew that didn't fit the car part of the clue.
  16. My hubby and I actually enjoyed it, and we're not Spring chickens, lol. I realize that this was the girl power version of the Arthurian legend. OAN, I would watch Gustaf Skarsgard recite the phone book. He's my favorite actor now, so much that I named my Volvo Floki.
  17. I just told the hubby that Gustaf has probably been typecast because of his role as Floki. Honestly, I did want to hear that high-pitched giggle every time he appeared on screen.
  18. Gustaf Skarsgard is now on Netflix in a series called CURSED. He plays a permanently drunk Merlin in this Arthurian legend. I kept waiting for that laugh, but not yet. https://www.netflix.com/title/80199393?dcuid=AMsySZbz08e8sgiPOl2GpRrQs2Hf
  19. Hopefully, this is not the amusement. Here's a blind item. You never know what to believe. 136. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 07/14 **11** This married A list talk show host couldn't wait to be able to go back to work so he could hook up again with a new staffer he hired back in December who was hired because she was having sex with the host. Jimmy Fallon/"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" (Jimmy Fallon welcomes Gov. Andrew Cuomo during first show back in studio)
  20. I'm on one of those sites with NO POLITICS ALLOWED. I have the 7 in. Baby Yoda that talks and his robe is not removable. But I also have the 11 in. with a bean bag butt with the robe removable with just the clip of the ribbon at the back of the neck. This one is a girl named Yodina the Diva and she wears 0-3 month newborn clothes. Some of the more talented people fashion legs for them.
  21. Well, I thought that I had a new job for Tom, but never mind. https://people.com/tv/nick-cannon-apologizes-anti-semitic-remarks-fox-announces-remains-host-masked-singer/
  22. If The Masked singer is next, Tom Bergeron is available and would be a great host. He has quite a sense of humor. https://tvline.com/2020/07/14/nick-cannon-fired-anti-semitism-wild-n-out-viacom/
  23. My thoughts exactly. In what talent show universe would The Chicken and Ninja Twins get through? I was convinced that The Chicken was another case of a staff member killing time, but NOOOO - he actually went through. The show needs to be cancelled if this is the best they can come up with.
  24. But it's a different network. It would be cool to hire him.
