  1. I noticed that too! Glad I wasn't the only one. I also agree that Maria could be a good makeup artist...but don't Romani's usually discourage the women from having a "real" job? Not sure if that's something she could easily do on her own, like the flower selling. She'd have to come up with some way to establish a customer base and show off her abilities to attract clients. That would probably be easiest by working somewhere like Sephora, or even in a salon...which I am not sure she'd be allowed to do. It's a shame really because she really seems to have a passion for it.
  2. I really liked T.I.P. Sandoval's music is campy and kinda ridiculous...just like him. I'd even go see Charles McMansion in concert.
  3. I do this and it's my normal way of speaking, sometimes I stumble over words or try to blend two together and it comes out not making any sense. Especially if I am nervous or anxious about something. I'm just not a good speaker, even though I'm well read and have a decent vocabulary. I generally try to laugh it off when it's obvious, but sometimes it happens at horrible moments...like during a job interview.
  4. Whoa! Did anyone else catch Emile calling Connie a whore? I thought he was an idiot, but saying that to Connie while she's trying to help him.. Major points lost, dude.
  5. I could have sworn Josh's specialty was a radiologist. And I don't know if I've ever seen radiologists interact with patients the same way Josh seems to be doing. Don't they mostly read x rays, MRI's, and other radiologic tests? Something seems fishy to me..
  6. Oh ok. I'm rewatching and I did see Payel's kids, in the background. I just never heard them mentioned because of the constant pressure everyone is putting on Ragini to have kids. I don't blame her for feeling so frustrated because she's hearing "you NEED to have a baby!!!" from every angle. I think all she really needs to hear is that it is ok to not be sure what she wants and to take some time. Instead, he and his entire family (and hers, and her friends..) dogpile on her about it.
  7. Does Payel have kids? Somehow I don't think so....so why is everyone so concerned with Veeral and Ragini having a baby?
  8. Seems that Eddie is going with the Jax Taylor method of breaking off his and Rocky's little affair. I can't say I blame him for ending it (cos face it, she's batshit crazy) but he isn't exactly going about it in a gentlemanly fashion. The Atlanta housewives were meh for me. I like the more outrageous charter guests. Even though they had Emile feeding them strawberries like a Chippendale and Connie was a cat (uh, why?) it was still rather tame. Bring back foam party dude!
  9. I got Meghan wanting to be honest with the woman at the hospital but damn.. She probably would have gotten the job had she not immediately said she was only going to be living in Indy for a year. And who knows? They might decide they were going to stay. She should have let it ride a bit before letting that slip. And, $700 for two barstools and a rug? Come on, Meghan. Target is your friend. Hell, even Amazon or Ikea. Oh, CA real estate.. I would love to even entertain the idea of living in a million dollar home. Or, excuse me, $999,900 or whatever the price was. Ragini is just stalling, using any excuse she can to put off pregnancy. I'm pretty sure if it were medically possible Veeral would be carrying his own baby. I also got annoyed at Veera's sister basically telling Ragini she needs to just get over everything and get pregnant. Very rude....she needs to have a seat. I would resent the hell out of his family for constantly bringing up the baby thing. We get it. They all want Ragini to have a kid...but do they have to bring it up every single time they see her? Talk about pressure.. Maria needs to leave Peter alone and butt out...let him flirt, it's harmless. I also laughed at Christian thinking Maria looked the same after the salon...most guys probably would agree (I did too, actually...even though I know she did at least get a haircut; but that's not super different) but the whole "happy wife, happy life" saying rings true. And maybe it will help him to stop being such a control freak. If going to the salon helps Maria feel better (the same way spending $300 on ties and pocket squares does for him) and they can afford it then let it go. She's the one making the money, after all. Although I do feel like they should be saving money to move out of Michael and Nina's, because if they're still there when Peter gets hitched that's gonna be one hell of a crowded basement. I still want to know what Michael does for a living to afford such a big place in Queens. It's not as pricey as a place in Manhattan, but I doubt it's cheap. Plus the nice cars, insurance, cell phones.. I'm betting Michael and Nina are still paying for Christian's bills even though (technically) he is a married man now. I miss going to Seaside Heights. My family used to have a place in Tom's River. Ahh, memories.
  10. Rewatching the reunion from last year. Seems that "I have/had your back!!" is the Teen Mom 2 equivalent of "I'm done!!!" Or "The truth will come out!" Still waiting on that one.. Ditto, that girl was a hot mess! I don't think she has booked (m)any jobs since that tiny role in We're the Millers as a stripper. I have a nagging feeling LL was sent from Central Casting, just like Vail was during last season.
  11. Seems as though Scheana's birthday party has risen in importance and taken the place of Stassi's.
  12. I thought that too. He could easily be Crighton whoever and assumed the psych's identity.
  13. So Eastman built the cell with the intent to torture the man who murder his family? I really wish he'd done it.. but meh. This episode still has gotten no better.
  14. Bored already. I can say that I honestly do not give a shit about Morgan and how he overcame the crazy. I want to know what happens to Glenn, dammit.
  15. That was Torrie, not Jenelle, with the Roll and she was dressed as the Corpse Bride, not Sally Stitches. Sally has red hair and a patchwork dress. I'm a bit of a Burton buff. ;)
  16. I remember seeing commercials for that but never actually watched it. Anyone know what it's called and if it is on YouTube or anything?
  17. I can kind of see why Maria ended up going back. Even though Christian is a total douchebag them splitting up still shames both their families as Romanys. It makes sense both the Millers and Maria's family are going to push for them to try and work it out. Plus, they are both still very young and have more maturing to do. Christian can turn this around if he really wants to. Between the counseling mandated by the gypsy council, advice and examples from his parents, and Maria's newfound backbone and demands hopefully he will do a 180 and become a decent husband. He has time to straighten his ass out...it's not like he's reached middle age and is stuck in a rut. As much as I love to hatewatch Christian I do hope he starts treating Maria better because she deserves it. She spent her whole life so far being groomed to be a wife and he's what she got as a husband...a selfish, mean, disrespectful, petulant overgrown child? I'd be feeling pretty angry too. I just wonder how Nina and Michael didn't notice things got so bad, they all live together FFS. Even Peter could tell how miserable they both were. So I'm kinda surprised Michael hasn't had a man-to-man conversation with Christian about not being such an immature jerk. Also, does anyone know if he works? Seems weird for Maria to be out selling flowers every night while he sits on his ass all day playing video games...they're so big on gender roles it doesn't make sense that no one is emphasizing that Christian take care of her financially, not the other way around.
  18. Probably. Can't say I blame her though, Christian doesn't seem like he'd be good in bed at all. It's just odd to me since almost every other gypsy show I have ever seen they all are pretty open about sex, being affectionate, etc. and the Miller clan is very tightlipped about everything even remotely personal. They seem total opposites of the gypsies we've seen on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Gypsy Sisters.. The Millers seem less trashy, you know?
  19. They refuse to say. Everytime the subject of sex is brought up they both clam up and claim that in their culture they don't discuss such things.
  20. Hasn't both Veeral and Ragini's families been pressuring them into having a kid through the entire series? Just goes to show how boring those two are that absolutely nothing else is happening in their lives except constantly arguing about babies/getting pregnant. Who cares?? Even Meghan and Josh moving to Indiana is more interesting. At this point the only couple worth watching is Christian and Maria, but only for the trainwreck that is their relationship...or really, lack of one. I've never seen a couple act less interested in each other in my life. How can Christian be so clueless about marriage? I assume it was Michael's job to educate him on being a good husband in their Romany culture, and he has probably led by example because it seems to me Michael is a good husband to Nina. It's insane that Christian can't pick up on that.
  21. No kidding. It also seems like the smarter people are the fewer (if any) kids they will have. It's like that Harvey Danger song, "Been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding.." Not that it's 100% true, but yeah. No wonder this country is headed for an Idiocracy situation.
  22. I think Michael, Nina, and even Peter have tried telling Christian he needs to change his attitude and quit being such a selfish dickhead numerous times. Unfortunately Christian is just an arrogant, quick tempered spoiled brat who refuses to listen to anyone. Even though he technically is an adult he sure doesn't act like one. With the way we see him treating Maria on camera I can only imagine what goes on when they're gone. I think Christian needs some sort of counseling, or even anger management to control his temper; he seems to have this crazy rage within him that's always bubbling right under the surface, waiting to burst out. And then we have poor Maria has to put up with that petty bullshit all day, every day, 24/7. No matter what she does or says to Christian she is always wrong or she's stupid, or she even doesn't talk enough!! The worst is that he seems to revel in making her so miserable. I honestly can't blame her for just lashing out in the heat of a fight because she was probably listening to him bitch and criticize her over something so trivial. It doesn't make it right, but I get it. She's upset, frustrated, depressed, and has no idea what to do...she even said herself she feels like she doesn't recognize herself anymore. Besides, what man has a knock-down-drag-out fight with his wife over $20 worth of makeup? Especially since she had to tag along with him so he could spend almost $300 on clothes for himself (gotta impress their community and all..) with every last dime of the money she made from selling flowers....but she can't treat herself to something? I still can't believe he had the audacity to tell her that she had "too much [makeup] already" during their argument, yet I'll bet that Christian has more pairs of shoes than she has lipsticks. I honestly hope these gypsy elders get their panties in a twist over Maria leaving Christian. How scandalous! It's gonna be interesting to see all of the gypsy elders reading him the riot act about what a selfish, self absorbed, immature, condescending prick he is. I also can't wait to see their response to whatever he tries to use in his defense, cos I am sure he will try and shift the blame solely to Maria. He's definitely one of those assholes who refuse to take responsibility for their part in anything because he always wants people on his side.
  23. This is true for me as well. Both Seroquel and Neurontin (at different times) caused me to be damn near narcoleptic, among other things and I had to stop taking them because I couldn't adjust. So it is actually true that certain psych meds can cause nodding out, especially when you first start taking them. Xanax, Ativan, and Klonopin are usually the main offenders, but certain antidepressants can cause it too. And you can be addicted to antidepressants, which is why most doctors won't suggest quitting a drug cold turkey, they generally want you to taper off because your body has to re-adjust to not having the drug in your system. It isn't quite the same as like a heroin addiction (and you're not getting high from it) but there is definitely a addictive type factor.
