  1. I knew Lexi and Edward had some kind of vibe last season. Finally Lexi made her move and he seemed to like it
  2. Stephen did one heck of a heartfelt tribute to Toby Keith; I hadn’t realized they were friends
  3. I am, but I'm not sure I'll watch a second season. Subsequent episodes seem a little better than the pilot but the exes are still pretty unlikable and both seem like nightmares as partners. I don't know what the team owner sees in the mom, but really he's almost as high maintenance as she is This episode was amusing, especially with the teenage shenanigans
  4. Maxie is probably still in debt or at least has money trouble but Spinelli moved in as a paying tenant to secretly help her out Lucy wants Tracy out of Deception so the Scott scheme was to get her to fall for him (and I guess marry him) and distract her somehow to get her out of the company. I guess the Blair thing was used as the basis of Tracy’s lawsuit against Deception. She and Lucy made a deal to have Tracy take a controlling ownership of Deception and in return, Tracy dropped the lawsuit
  5. I’m quite happy Anna took the PC job. She’s spent enough time crying and angsting about various things
  6. Is that who that was!? I thought it was just some backstage guy helping Celine walk
  7. The doc series has its own topic here: https://forums.primetimer.com/forum/8620-gospel/
  8. Media info thread Per Futon Critic, season finale is March 26 http://thefutoncritic.com/listings/2024/03/26/
  9. Season 3 finale this coming Friday
  10. I did like the individual tributes, but yes, it was confusing what they were doing overall
  11. Ratings were quite a bit up from last year http://www.thefutoncritic.com/ratings/2024/02/05/the-66th-annual-grammy-awards-up-plus34-percent-from-last-year-averaging-169-million-viewers-its-largest-audience-since-2020-186214/20240205cbs02/
  12. It was so nice to see Tracy Chapman smiling so much at the audience’s adoration. I read somewhere that she felt alienated from the music industry throughout most of her career Joni Mitchell’s performance would have hit me in the feels a lot harder if I hadn't already seen a YouTube video of a similar performance at a music festival last Summer (which was really emotional). Joni apparently is another artist who didn’t feel the music industry gave her her due. I can’t believe this was the first time she performed at the Grammys
  13. It was pretty funny seeing Meryl Streep trying to sneak back to her seat while Trevor talking at her table about her. Same when Taylor Swift disrupted his hosting to take her seat
  14. That smile the Ace baby gave to the Nic actor after he said I love you was just so adorable
  15. Jodie Whittaker will be part of the cast for this year’s Celebrity Bake Off https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/entertainment/celebrity-bake-off-2024-cast/?fbclid=IwAR2_D75XGIOimBzRF3ailV7Arq_hTMZQxm_w7NI36FarriJAHCjGchTej5o_aem_AakEwbO6oqlVrvoCIUTDW00SEcEDn_rDP7VFOBML_8zx895rHqQhO3zcFBq8a6-ybC4
  16. I was having some sympathy for the environmental dad until he expressed his wish that his daughter’s almost fatal act would get a lot of news coverage. Then any sympathy went out the window and I was glad the kids went to live with their grandparents. He was definitely too intense about and too immersed in the fight to the detriment of his kids
  17. Absolutely great performances. And it was emotional seeing Celine Dion presenting at the end; I’m a big fan of hers Jay-Z accepting the Vanguard award, or whatever it was called, while lambasting the academy for never giving his wife Album of the Year was really something
  18. I didn't forget it, I totally missed it lol. Thanks for catching it Oops, one I forgot to post. The Daytime Emmys are eliminating the Younger Performer category https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/daytime-emmy-shocker-natas-eliminates-younger-performer-category/
  19. Note: Already aired on Feb 1
  20. I finally buckled down and watched this this past weekend and thought it was very good in spite of my increasing distaste for bloody horror movies as I've gotten older. I've wanted see this the minute I heard about it as it as a very intriguing premise and it didn't let me down. The child actors were excellent, especially the sister, as was Ethan Hawke as the killer. I'm sure there were holes you could drive a truck through, but that didn't take away from the tension of the story
  21. FYI, the TV Critics semi-annual press tour is happening this week and next and PBS will take their turn next Monday Feb 12. I'll post interesting stuff when it gets announced
