  1. Well, lol, at least I don't infer that someone is a bigot when research is mentioned. Personally, I find that "interesting."
  2. I guess it is possible for someone who went to college and received a degree to have no idea how to correctly use apostrophes. But this is just a teeny little problem with higher education, given how many issues there are... Technical schools are excellent alternatives to college. People can learn things like welding, automotive mechanics, HVAC, plumbing, and much more, often times in under a year. I guess mileage really does vary.
  3. I really don't think Eric is lying about being an ex-Marine. Obviously he doesn't have the qualities that make a great Marine, but the Marine Corps is like any other profession...there are always going to be some bad apples. Charles Whitman, Andrew Urdiales, and Ian David Long- all absolutely crazy ex-Marines who killed a bunch of innocent people. Eric seems like a pretty terrible person, but at least he's not a murderer.
  4. For those truly interested in the topic of higher education, it's quite easy to find information online. There's a wealth of it out there. An online forum dedicated to the 90 Fiancee show isn't really the place for me to discuss complicated issues or cite "sources" with people who are not interested in researching such topics themselves.
  5. One result: Just 5 percent of community college students graduate with two-year degrees in two years and about 36 percent of four-year private and flagship public university and college students with bachelor's degrees in four. At non-flagship four-year public universities, the on-time graduation rate is 19 percent. The lengthy time to graduate has become so much the status quo that education policy experts now routinely use benchmarks of six years to earn a bachelor’s degree and three years for an associate degree. Currently, it's pretty common for people who go to college to take 5 or even 6 years, not 4, to complete their degree. If a person has a full time job and a family to support, it's going to take even longer than that in many cases. People who have never gone to college or raised children who have gone to college are probably totally unaware of the reality of financing and completing a college education. Times have changed and facts are facts. Yes, of course, some people are able to do it in 4 years. They are in the minority.
  6. Gee. So sweet little Fernando obviously had no appreciation for that wonderful older man, who out of genuine love and compassion for her paid for breast implants, clothing, jewelry, and a gym membership!!!!! Poor Jonathan. He's such a catch, and Fern blew it. Literally, I guess. But I have faith- Jon will heal. He's probably already on another Mexican vacation checking out teenagers who are prettier than Fernando and ALREADY have big breasts that he won't have to invest in.
  7. Whooaa.....wait a sec. Are you talking about Fernando?! The teenager who loved Jon for so many reasons? He paid for her breast implants! He totally supports her desire to be a gym rat because it makes her happy to show off her body for God's sake! 😏 But seriously, are you talking about Leeda? I don't even know what thread I'm on right now, lol
  8. Eee gads....just saw a commercial that ABC is doing a show on Lorena Bobbitt. The woman who decided that instead of just killing her husband, it would be a much better idea to simply cut his penis off.
  9. I'm sure he does. Just like all the other "men" out there who want a female from another country. And then at some point most of them realize that women from other countries are *shock* pretty much like other women regardless of where they live. Some are really great people, others not so much.
  10. I think you are right. And why on earth wasn't Colt smart enough, like Asuelo was, to go out to Goodwill with Larissa and pick up an inexpensive pre-tied tie, like a clip-on, if he never learned how to put a knot in a neck tie? 🤔 And speaking of ties, the one Leeeda gave Eric to wear at that wedding was ugly, as was his suit. The only thing that kept him from looking like he was dressed for a funeral was the flower on his pocket. Maybe.
  11. When I was at the grocery store waiting in line, the latest issue of In Touch Weekly was displayed with the "news" that finally authorities know who killed JonBenet Ramsey. I tried to quickly look at the article, but I didn't recognize the name of the alleged killer. Is this truly something new or is that magazine just re-hashing all the speculation because of the time of the year coinciding with her murder?
  12. Yes, I agree. Everyone is a product of their environment to degree. However, when an environment is contributing to an unacceptable number of "sociopaths", the environment obviously needs to change in order to break the cycle. I'm assuming the sociopathic traits you're referring to with regard Jay have to do with his disgusting treatment of his sexual partner, Ashley. It's unfortunate that some people have very little appreciation for the individuals out there who care enough about societal/cultural issues to study them with the goal in mind to create positive change for future generations so there are fewer "Jays" in the world. In fact, most of them are probably incredibly decent human beings of all races from all around the world. It's not like they're unkind bigots or racists, or something else pretty terrible like that. They actually would like to see people thriving in a healthy, happy, and safe environment. Wherever that may be.
  13. Thank goodness I was wrong about that...I just couldn't see Jerry Springer being the spokesperson for Court TV!
  14. It's probably been said, but isn't it possible that Eric is the gold-digger here?
  15. Interesting. Some people see Jay as a rotten, cutthroat, con-man. All I've seen is a VERY young man who is a product of his environment. Not very surprising, particularly since he was extremely forthright from the start about his Jamaican upbringing and sexual attitudes and experiences. Perhaps his views regarding sexuality and romantic love may change as he matures. Ashley is on par with Eric with regard to placing her own romantic desires and lust before considering the impact on her children. Those kids are clearly not her priority.
  16. From what I've heard, it's going to be like Judge Judy. Like that's what the world needs right now....more Judge Judy-type shows. 🙄
  17. I know. That's one of the horrific things about the little 2 year old in England. His mom just let go of his hand for a couple of seconds. And look what happened. It only takes a few seconds for someone to be abducted. You would think that caring, loving, responsible adults would NEVER let their kids do the things that apparently many kids are allowed to do. I heard that Jerry Springer is going to be the Judge for Court TV. THAT should be quite the zoo.
  18. Oh, absolutely! Even though it wasn't a "funny" one to me, I have even more respect for the talent these people have.
  19. Well then what the heck is going on with that disturbing bulge in his pants all the time? 😯 I don't even want to think about the possibilities.
  20. It just makes it even worse- if possible! - because he was allowed to take "care" of the baby. I don't get that. Wasn't there anyone else who could have cared for the child during that period of time?
