  1. I started rewatching this when the Drama Queens podcast first came out but they're not so great with the recapping and I generally remember enough to follow what episode discussion there is so I kind of fell off. A few days ago I decided that I wanted to rewatch after all (I'm now up to 02x09) and I've forgotten how much I genuinely enjoy this show though that enjoyment changes some after S06. I'm not a Leyton shipper and neither Lucas or Peyton are my favorite character but the dynamic is just different, for now though I'm just enjoying the early years.
  2. I was alright with the ghost stuff though I would prefer more of an "unmasking" then an actual ghost. Would give Nancy more opportunities to use those detective skills. I was pretty sad about Freddie Prinze Jr. too, when the news first broke about this show it was one of the things I was excited for. I don't really have much of an opinion on Scott Wolf, I've never seen Party of Five and I know he was on Everwood but I haven't seen that since it left the air. So I can't really speak for his acting but I will say I feel like he sort of has a baby face even at his age and that keeps me from seeing him as this serious lawyer. He's just not who I would have pictured as Carson Drew.
  3. My mom had Nancy Drew books as a kid and eventually they made their way to my closet from my grandparents' basement so I was definitely going to at least check it out. It wasn't bad as a girl detective show on The CW. As a Nancy Drew adaptation, I was pretty meh on that aspect. Of course at 34 I'm not really their target audience either. Little bummed that Nancy isn't friends with Bess and George. Though I did like Ned (I'm not calling him Nick, that just feels weird.) well enough. It interested me enough to stick around for now so we'll see how it goes. For those asking, yes Bess and George did have boyfriend types in the books, at least in the versions I have. Their names were Dave (Bess) and Burt (George) and if I'm remembering correctly they were friends of Ned's.
  4. I've been rewatching my Lois and Clark DVDs and look who showed up in a S4 episode as the villain
  5. I've been rewatching my DVDs the past few weeks. I'm just about to start the clone arc. Really not a fan of that arc which of course is followed by the amnesia arc and that is then followed by the New Krypton arc. All three have some merit but its just so much all together like that. I never saw this show in real time just in reruns and then later DVD so if it drives me nuts I can't even fathom how frustrating it must have been to see it play out week after week. That said though its still one of my favorite shows of all time and I love the take on Clark/Superman.
  6. Neal Cassidy from OUaT is a big one for me. I'll also echo Will and Finn from Glee. Xander and Dawn from Buffy. Ross from Friends. Elena from TVD and Laurel from Arrow aren't in the love category but I like them well enough,
  7. Some random UOs OUaT I can’t stand Regina, Hook, or any pairing involving them except perhaps, with each other because THAT could be interesting on a better show. I don’t hate Neal. Rumbelle is meh at best for me. Robert Carlyle is very talented but I do not find him attractive and dislike the occasional insinuations that one is missing out if they don’t. I don’t find Snowing dull and actually found a stable couple with minimal drama to be utterly refreshing. I like(d) Emma and actually prefer the good guys. I’m generally a Team Hero person and find Team Bad Guy boring. I give none about the quality of the CGI. The writing on the other hand, is another story. While both Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla are very good at what they do I think it’s a shame other cast members’ abilities are often overlooked. I prefer the so called redeemed villains as villains. Glee Klaine wore seriously thin after Blaine transferred to McKinley. I like Will and Will/Emma. Buffy I don’t mind S6 and 7. I generally like Xander. I don’t hate Dawn. Angel I prefer Fred/Gunn to Fred/Wesley. Angel/Cory seriously weirds me out for inexplicable reasons. Grey’s Anatomy I actually prefer Private Practice to its mother show. MerDer does zero for me. McDreamy is not dreamy though he has great hair and his one redeeming quality is that he’s played by Patrick Dempsey who has some sort of aura of charm about him. I also don’t care for Cristina. This is kind of a general tv as a whole thing but I don’t need constant action and contrived drama. Sometimes it’s nice to just see characters talk about whatever is going on with them. Or just see them do the daily mundane things. The constant drama and action gets tiresome. I also hate when writers and show runners give interviews. So often they fall back on interviews to tell the audience what they should be seeing instead of actually showing on these things screen.
  8. I do this also. If Long Live the Queen had been it for Cole and had they not twisted that possession into something it wasn't I could stomach the rest of S4 because I do think its a pretty good season especially considering Shannen's exit and Rose's entrance. Sadly, what follows is what I take issue with. I flat out will not watch S5 it makes me too angry. I can watch S6 and 7 mostly without issue aside from the S7 episode where Cole comes back to help Leo and Piper because they continue with the Cole wanted to be Source bs. I only saw S8 once it was out on DVD because I purchased the Book of Shadows series DVD set. I don't remember finding anything particularly memorable about it. Forever Charmed was a decent enough finale but I was annoyed at Bille taking over so much in that season and the lack of Leo and the loss of Daryl. Mostly though I just pretend it ends with Lost and Bound. I don't generally have any desire to watch beyond that. I stopped watching after S5 anyway aside from the S6 finale and two episodes in S7 I never watched anything else while it was on the air so its easy enough to block things out.
