  1. What did I say weeks ago? The two crazy hormonal power-hungry ladies having to be put down by their heroic male lovers is NOT gonna go well with a part of the audience at all. And the criticisms of the misogyny and racism of this episode are making the rounds on social media already. Good. I am not so secretly enjoying the backlash. If I'm gonna hate this season, I'm glad everyone else is as well. I'm actually surprised Jon doesn't become king. If we didn't have any leaks, I'd guess this new weak and passive Jon would be carried by force on the throne, unconscious, would open his eyes, realize where he is sitting and he'd be like oh well, that's it then, FML
  2. Hmmm between Jon giving Ghost to Tormund and Sam apparently saying he'll call his new baby Jon, I think Jon is dying or at the very least never returning North.
  3. From what I've read about the episode, it really does sound like the people staying in Winterfell (Sansa, Sam, Brienne, Gendry ...) are gonna do nothing until they have to go to the Dragonpit. That sounds really strange but maybe Cersei vs Dany vs Jon was the only big storyline left. There's no point in Sam and Sansa plotting for Jon to betray Dany since he's gonna take care of that all by himself anyway.
  4. You know they're gonna have close ups of poor innocent toddlers being burned by the Mad Queen Dany with the sad violin version of the Lannister song playing. Same as 7x04. Same. If they had confessed their undying love in episode 1 and talked about leaving Westeros i'd probably swoon at the Romeo and Juliet tragedy. Right now I'm baffled.
  5. I wish I could be one of those people but to me it's either I love the entire show or I'm cancelling all of it. Boy I'm so glad I'm such a cheapskate that I never bought any of these Funkos and all that stuff. It would be thrown in the garbage right about now.
  6. Welp. I sure am glad I believed the leaks the second I saw them. I spent the week getting over it and now I'm sort of laughing at the whole thing. It's so BAD. Only question right now is what was the point of the Jon and Dany romance? To make us feel bad for Jon when he has to kill Dany? Because right now I don't. The relationship had 2 scenes. That's it. A silent love scene and a cheesy dragon montage. No talk of feelings, no plans for the future, no nothing. For all I know they broke up off screen and he doesn't even care. And I'm told they only have one scene this episode talking about his claim. So no, I don't feel bad that he has to kill someone he barely seems to care about. Everything that happened in season 7 was such a weird waste of time...
  7. I wish I had your faith. I agree that everyone suddenly backing that leak is a bit suspicious but these leakers don't seem to be linked with each other. At least the one I posted doesn't know anything about Jon killing Dany yet. I just can't believe the actors would praise that stuff. Granted, they're paid millions to fake it but still... And D&D hoping the debates will be about whether it's an A or an A+? Good luck with that.
  8. An old leaker who gave exact summaries of season 7 episodes just became active again and confirms Missandei's death by execution and Rhaegal being killed by the GC, probably next episode. Also Jaime and Brienne having a love scene. I'm shocked at how many confirmations of those stupid leaks we seem to get every hour or so, but it's becoming more and more difficult to ignore them. I guess the only way to make Dany "crazy" is by killing everyone around her. Genius!
  9. You're right, I just now went back to Emilia's Instagram and saw them at a festival together on June 17th. I'm desperately hoping that he was there for ADR or something, I can't take yet another action sequence where Sam wants to be brave and ends up crying and being a liability. And I could do without him nagging Jon. Jaime will end up in the south for sure, there was that extra who talked about him being in the KL sequence with Arya and the Hound and Nikolaj filmed his interviews in the interiors of the Red Keep. He also filmed at some caves, if I recall? I think your entire speculation about the GC attacking Winterell makes a lot of sense and it would explain why the characters end up being separated into groups yet again and why some of the fighters are still there. If the writers really wanted them all to stick together and flee south, burning Winterfell would have made that easy but they decided otherwise so there has to be a big storyline up in the North. And it's really boring to think that these characters, Bran, Sansa, Brienne, Gendry, and co, would just stay there until they have to go south for the Dragonpit event. It would mean that their storylines are already done and they're just waiting for their endgame. Also I think BoatsexBaby made a post recently (based on sleuthing, not fleaks) that showed a picture of Lannister, Unsullied and Northern soldiers in King's Landing, no GC. I'm just surprised that they managed to film so many different action sequences in Winterfell without us knowing. It all seemed to be from 8x03, at the time. Let's just hope the lighting is better.
  10. No and I remember that after Seville, Gwendoline had a lot of fashion events and went on vacation with her boyfriend. She was only spotted in Belfast when they did the EW photoshoot, around June 4th-6th. I think she might stay in Winterfell, which begs the question, what's the storyline gonna be over there? Are Sam and Sansa gonna plot to put Jon on the throne by raven scrolls? By the way can I ask why you think that Sam was involved in the KL sequence? I always assumed John wrapped in Seville with the others, for some reason. Thank you, you took one for the team lol that other guy gives me a headache I can't listen to him. I agree with them that Dany really had a good episode, which makes the recent spoilers even more baffling. A simple moment of her hesitating to save Jon or smirking at the idea of him dying would have set up a believable Mad Queen arc... but they didn't do that, quite the opposite. She was so worried about him that she put Drogon in danger. And she has plenty of shots where she looks happy in the promo so the assumption that she goes crazy because of Jorah doesn't work for me. Also I keep seeing a lot of theories where Sansa and the Northeners are unhappy about having to fight against Cersei but that would, again, be bad writing. In 7x01, Sansa warned Jon that he should care about the Cersei problem as much as the NK problem. And it looks like she was right. Cersei sent them a scroll asking them to bent the knee or suffer the fate of all traitors so Sansa thinking that Cersei isn't her problem would be bad continuity. Not that this has stopped these writers before.
  11. I really don't think Jon cares about Varys. Burning KL might be the reason, although I have no idea why Dany wouldn't just burn the Red Keep to get at Cersei instead of burning the streets. We'll see soon enough. In other news, I don't remember if this has been posted before but Blind Gossip (a website usually focused on celebrities) has 2 spoilers from a mysterious source who worked on the show. This was the first one posted last week : Newest one from yesterday : The website assumes it's about a baby, which is fair, especially because of the wording ("little" surprise). Many options there, from most likely to somewhat likely I'd say : Jon-Dany, Gendry-Arya, Jaime-Brienne, possibly Tyrion-Sansa (long shot). But my mind jumped straight to our latest spoiler and I guess the surprise could simply be Jon killing Dany.
  12. I just keep picturing this Battle of the two Mad Queens with Cersei screaming and burning everything and Dany screaming and burning everything while the brave men try to restrain their hormonal crazy ladies. If all else fails, I trust it will be comical. Emilia Clarke is a much better person than I am because if the character I had played and loved and admired for 8 years just became a crazy woman who had to be put down like a mad dog by her boyfriend, I wouldn't do any interviews and I would most certainly not get any tattoo related to that story on my body. I also just remembered that her mother "forgot" the ending lol. I'd like to forget it too please.
  13. I know, I know. Put George in the bunker too. I actually can't believe my worst case scenario that I posted last week could be true. But I've had this gut feeling for a while, can't help it. Just a few things that suddenly clicked for me and that I couldn't ignore anymore. But I still think the writing would be utterly nonsensical if that happened. D&D are still talking about Dany as a hero who cares about her army and Jorah, and next week even the Northern Lords appear to finally accept her. What could possibly happen that she's so "crazy" she has to be put down by Jon? I guess she's the one burning King's Landing since that can't be the NK anymore... Edit : Yes that other info fits as well, we thought it would be Tyrion but now...
  14. The people over at FreefolkNews just found this :one of the only leaker who got stuff right about episode 3 (Arya killing the NK after the NK kills Theon) also says Jon kills Dany, because of course.... As I said before, with how awful this season is in terms of writing, this wouldn't be surprising. The heroic whitewashed males will have to put down the two mad power-hungry queens. Good luck with that, D&D, hope your bunker is comfy.
  15. And yet, there are things that make it pretty clear that Jon is in charge of Dany's armies and dragons at the end of the story: according to Kit Harington himself, his last day of filming was with Peter Dinklage, Liam Cunningham and Jacob Anderson. And according to Javi, they're walking through a burned King's Landing. Dany is not mentioned. Who is Grey Worm following or protecting? In the Dragonpit, presumably for Tyrion's trial, we have a group of people that could be best described as "Jon's family and friends" No mention of Daenerys. Grey Worm and the Unsullied are there. Who are they here for? Speaking of the trial, Tyrion is said to betray the Starks, not Daenerys. Shouldn't it be both? Shouldn't any betrayal of the Starks affect Dany too, if they're still on the same side? Back in april 2018, Irish Thrones published this tweet. Dragons arrive in King's Landing. When asked which actors were there, they mentioned Kit, Liam and Maisie. No Emilia. In fact, we have absolutely no proof that she is involved in whatever action sequence takes place in King's Landing. Now I know what you're gonna say. She's filming the dragon stuff in the studios. She's giving birth. They don't film in order. Those are the excuses I used to tell myself. Not anymore. Of course it doesn't mean that Jon is the one who kills her, I'm probably wrong about that. But everything points to him being gifted her armies and dragons after she dies of evilness. I don't want any of this to be true, it's just the vibe I'm getting. I'm trying to prepare myself for it.
