How can the DCC be called “world class” when they have repeated the same tired pregame show for the past 15 years?

So when a DCC makes a glaring mistake like Dani falling during kickline, are they “punished” by K&J? If so, do they move them to an undesirable part of the triangle or inflict some kind of punishment? I hope not.

Remember the year they free fell into a net and the one DCC lost her 💩 on the way up and had a panic attack? I think it was Gourley or something like that. So much more entertaining than “touch the star” (because our crappy football team is all about excellence. 🙄) I wish Ceedee Lamb had been drafter by a better team. I’m still smh over the shirts the DCC were wearing that said “Jerry had a little Lamb”. Cringeworthy and bizarre.

I wonder if they will all gather and “touch the star” simultaneously while talking about how great the football team is. 😂 that was so silly. I’d rather watch Charlotte eat a sandwich than seeing all these girls do a funny ritual.

Maybe Erin had a time conflict with being in show group so she didn’t try out? I can’t see her not making it.

Madeline is my favorite rookie if she’s still there. I think she is very well spoken. I just hope Kelli’s crappy ways don’t make her cynical. I attended the same undergrad as Madeline and it’s well known for churning out Broadway stars and pageant winners. I wonder if she will quit school or transfer since she will be in Dallas? I hope CMT doesn’t make an entire episode out of the Canton trip like they did in season 12. I’m sure they will-especially if they will be on GMA tomorrow. I bet we hear “world class” more than once!

That pic of the girls flying to Canton almost looks like Lexie had extra filters on or something. She doesn’t even look like herself! Her face seems really different. ‘’did anyone ever get the scoop on why VK left? A few people have alluded to a private conversation Kelli had with her giving her an ultimatum but do we know this for certain? I’m still really surprised she voluntarily left! I think the show should be more about dance too. In fact, I wish when charm, Denise, etc come teach, CMT would to a quick 5 minute bio on them and show clips of them performing (even from early on) and teaching routines in other settings. I think they are top notch and would love to hear more about their journey. I love Charm. I’m here for her…😂

I’m pretty sure DM and LB is 0ne person and the obvious answer us Kevin Durant. He loves posting on burner accounts on Twitter. This year he’s graduated to NFL cheerleading. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I think Naughty Kaylissa should be invited back to teach showmanship. She was so fun to watch! (Not as much fun now with all her nudie pics on insta). I know the chances of that are next to zero because of how things ended.

I really hope Victoria is ok. It must be incredibly humbling to her to admit to herself she can’t to everything 100% and sometimes you have to sacrifice things you love in order to be better on the inside. Good for her for doing this at her young age instead of denying there’s a problem and it getting worse. Whatever that may be. I wish nothing but the best for her. I can’t imagine being in the spotlight and knowing a lot of people don’t like you whether or not it is self inflicted. She’s young. Young people make mistakes. I’m glad I wasn’t on a reality show when I was 20.

I can’t wait until the first trans female auditions for DCC. Someone who is a great dancer and really looks soft and feminine. What if they didn’t reveal they were male genotype? Watching Kelli come up with excuses not to take her without breaking any laws would make for good watching but unfortunately I think the trans person would end up getting exploited for ratings only and not as a serious contender.

I completely agree these girls are way to young to be shooting up their faces with fillers and Botox. The only thing they should be doing to their faces is putting sunscreen on it every day. That is wrinkle prevention! it seems like the changes to the DCC organization began when Kelli and Charlotte started noticing and making cringe-worthy comments about their faces not being ¨HD ready “ or pointing out a girl with a BMI of 15 looks “heavy” on their big screen. It’s sad. They have to have a thick skin to watch that show and hear the nasty things they say about them. I wonder how many of these girls exhibit eating disordered behaviors because the thinner the better? I miss the years when the girl next door could work hard and make the team without being the runner up for Miss America, a rockette, or a supermodel.

I just commented on another thread about the direction Kaylissa’s pics have been going. I hope she photoshopped her stomach and that she really isn’t that thin. It looks terrible. I remember seeing her nudie pic Monday and thinking she has reached a new low. Lower than some of the bondage type things she has modeled in the past

I’m glad someone brought up Dayton. I was wondering what she’s doing since the cruise business is nonexistent this year. I never really understood Kelli’s issue with her. Isn’t she friends with her mom too, albeit not BFFs? I wish naughty Kaylissa had stayed on the team. I had a girl crush on her. I think she could have made point and that would have been fun to watch. I liked UCLA Katie too. It’s easy to forget some of these girls are barely out of their teen years and I wonder how I would feel watching the show and seeing that being closed doors the judges thought I weighed too much. You have to have a tough skin. I wonder how Katie felt seeing that scene? She should feel pretty proud that Charm thought she was worth keeping though! I wonder if Charm remembers these girls and recruits some of the ones she likes for other jobs. There are tons of dancing jobs if you are a great dancer, act professional, and know the right people. And there are definitely jobs that pay more than DCC and you don’t have to crowd around and “touch the star” while Ms Jones gives a silly speech about excellence. im very curious how this will go down if the rookie class can’t kick high. They cut veterans who could jump split and I don’t recall any focus being put on teaching that this season. I’m fairly certain sports will be back to normal next fall and they will be dancing on the field doing the kick line. And maybe everyone’s favorite DCC will come back weighing 20 pounds heavier and Kelli will have no choice but to cut her. 😉

How come the girls didn’t do the jump split during their entrance filming after the kick line? Did anyone notice when they did their intro dance in the big triangle that the diagonal on the right was anything but? CMT edited the film there but you can see for a split second that the girls aren’t near what I would call a diagonal. so back in august when Brennan got cut, there was talk in the training camp thread that she was really cut because she privately called out VK for her attitude problems and being rude to everyone. I was hoping CMT would show some of this but they didn’t. Does anyone know what exactly VK did and what was said to her while being called out? I remember reading Kelli also talked to VK about her attitude. I think overall watching this show this season was an epic waste of time

Lily and Brennan both looked gorgeous on the video. Those cuts were BS. Brennan almost found her inner Megan Ashley from a few years ago. I could feel her dying to tell off Kelli then change her mind. Kelli could have been a little more sensitive when cutting all those girls. I felt like I missed an episode because there was no real explanation for those cuts. And we missed VK getting a talking to by Kelli then Brennen. I’m starting to wonder what it would take to get VK kicked off this team. What direction was Brennan talking about that she didn’t like? So many questions unanswered. who got diagnosed with Covid, sparking a 2 week quarantine?

I always suspected she was. Her tweets I see occasionally reflect her filthy mouth, her constant anger, and how intolerant she is to people whose opinions are different than hers. I liked her in that show when she was a kid but for the past few years I can’t stand her. She is an ugly person on the inside.

I loved her! Her flexibility was amazing. She got cut her veteran year at finals in part because at the interview panel Brenda thought her pink dress with the cutouts at the waist was inappropriate. I’m not sure how they could think that since they dance around on national TV every Sunday wearing about a yard of fabric! how much does the Rockettes pay? To me that seems more prestigious than being a DCC but I’m comparing apples to oranges. It’s just a shame DCC doesn’t pay more. Hopefully Alora-Rose knows what the pay is. Does anyone know why she left the Rockettes? Was it because of the pandemic? I have it in my head she was a Rockette a few year ago but I’m not sure.

Lilidutch- prepare yourself to still see plenty of ribs when the episodes become available to you ok so I’m hating the editing. At the end of the episodes Kelly mentions Brennan isn’t dancing as well but we have hardly even seen her! Nothing I have seen goes along with Kelly’s comment. I thought Kristin had the worst solo but who knows with the editing? I would have pulled her in the office after show group audition. did I miss something? Why was VK in the center of her group? Is she a group leader? She still strikes me as goofy and uncontrolled. Lots of rookies are going to be coming to get her because she seems basic to me. where is Jalyn? They have not shown her at all! And she didn’t make show group again! meredith- *I felt bad for her but she should have seen that cut coming. I wasn’t expecting it that soon though, especially since Kelly voted to keep her. I’ve never really enjoyed any of the girls who cry a lot. Brianna from NJ cried all the time and honestly should have been cut the 2nd week of training camp but she was Kelly’s crush. Meredith is constantly crying. Kelly seemed pretty cold during the cut. She finally found it in herself to soften up a little but neither of them stood up to give her a hug after the cut. I’m glad Kitty is back!

That’s really cool that Meredith is like that. People remember stuff like that and they also remember when someone acts like they don’t want to be there. I still think Kat is one of the worst dancers. She’s constantly looking around to see what step is next. Do the ladies have a mirror in from of them in the hotel studio like they do at The Star?

I remember last week Kelly made the comment that last year Kat was in the last 2 to make the team or something like that. But Lily and Neredith were the last. Is anything about Kat not completely fake? Her personality seems fake, her hair isn’t hers... Why on earth did Meredith say she knows she’s top 36? I wouldn’t say that even if I was point the year before. I wonder if the editing somehow made it look like that’s what she was saying but was taken out of context. It was kind of odd CMT chose to play a Wilson-Phillips song when Meredith was leaving the “office”. I didn’t like that group 25 years ago and I don’t like them now. Yuck. Where is Savannah? I never see her anywhere! And Victoria is on the top row of that composite someone posted? I don’t agree at all. lily is on the bottom row on that composite yet they have not mentioned her name at all. It’s all Meredith and Hannah, who has a bunch of stickers. I noticed the girls are curvier. I don’t want to say gained weight because I actually think they look healthy now. Maybe Kelly hasn’t noticed yet since they didn’t dance on that big screen at auditions! 😂

The quality of the show over the last 2 years has really gone down. The edits are terrible, the cuts don’t make sense, and now you have to pretty much be a super model to make the team. I liked it better when a normal person who is a good dancer could make the team. You didn’t have to be drop dead gorgeous because they are going to part your hair in the middle and give you loose sausage curls no matter what you look like in the beginning anyway. Now we have an annoying legacy member of the “cheer team” who gets everything she wants. Last year she didn’t like Jalyn so boom! Suddenly Jalyn doesn’t make show group. Can’t wait to see the monstrosities that develop this season. 🙄

I have so many thoughts I’m not sure where to start. First I want to apologize last week for accidentally making a comment that was a spoiler. I wasn’t thinking and I was politely reminded. So I hope I didn’t ruin this for anyone. 1. ok so I like the fact they learned the dances before TC. The only downside is K&J can’t tell who picks up choreo the fastest. 2. I feel way less “invested” in the TCC’s. Maybe I haven’t been watching this season long enough. It might be the weird quarantine format. It’s just every year I have my favorites and this year....nothing. 3. I finally figured out Sheridan was the TCC from 2016! I thought she looked familiar! 4. if they are all in a bubble, why are they wearing masks at all? It seems like it’s just for the show and it’s silly. That’s the whole point of a bubble- so you don’t have to wear a mask. I, too thought it was a bit over the top for the girl who got sick to have covid. Kelly acted like an alien had just landed at training camp the way she said “I was worried Covid had infiltrated our bubble!”. Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! 5. What do the girls do all day? Can they leave their room? How do they afford this if they can’t work? This would mean the only rookies who can make the team would have to be well off. 6. I miss the vets.

Yeah it seemed Kelly had it out for Ashley Paige. I never thought she was fake- I just thought that was her professional demeanor. And I thought she was beautiful.
