I thought Gina was great plus I really like the energy of everyone. It’s going to be so much fun to watch them all this season. And luckily for me I can only tell the difference between outstanding choreo and the worst choreo ever. Everything in between those two looks ok to me.

On the other hand if someone showed up on my doorstep with some original Dead Sea scrolls in hand , I’d be willing to answer my door. Probably. Who am I kidding, I answer my door as often as I answer my phone.

My executive assistance wants to know what the DCC:MTT reminder on my calendar Friday is for 🤣. Does he not know me at all???

As a follow up, I’d just like to note that confessing this did not make me want the ice cream any less, nor did it keep me from coveting said ice cream, or thinking longingly about the ice cream. I can’t be 100% sure but I feel like my guilt level wasn’t lessened any when I consumed the ice cream. And yet still, I’m back to confess to y’all, I ate the ice cream. There, guilt absolved right? That’s how this works?

I just watched the DCC farewell to Texas Stadium performance (YouTube). It included alumni from every decade dancing and I thought “now this is the sisterhood they’re always talking about”. I figure some of those women had grandchildren in the audience and how fun for them it must have been to show off just a bit.

I am twice beauty queen Rachel’s age and this is the second dress I’ve seen her in that I also own, clearly we shop at the same place, have great taste in clothes 😉, have the same coloring (except I’m not orange), and one of us should probably dress more age appropriate. It’s probably me.

Wore white shorts the other day. Put them on in the bathroom in the morning, walked to the kitchen, and promptly spilled something on them. My goal the next time I wear them is to have them on at least 10 minutes before I mess them up. Baby steps. And oh yeah was I made for dark colors.

Queen and the DCC. My introverted self might have actually braved the crowds *shutters* for that. Well probably not but I like to entertain the idea of getting a life ;).

Reverend Preachy Pants is actually on the “throwing it back to Miami Vice” trend. I just got back from three weeks of work travel in Europe where I discovered that the latest stylish male fashion is what I started calling growth spurt pants. These were often worn sockless. Everywhere - the office in London , the streets of Lisbon, a wedding in Glasgow, grown men wearing slightly too short pants with flashy socks or no socks.

I think a lot of who danced where had a lot to do with camera shots, what showed on in the jumbo trans, and where Brian and Adam were going to walk. It was all part of the scripted production.

I recently got a solicitation stating I’m in the top 1% of wage earners and education level in my area. I live in Saint George. Having now read this thread I realize just how low the bar might be set here...

Looking into my crystal ball I predict it will not grow on you...or anyone. 🤠
