There is a new method for implants. They use general anesthetic, and put the anchors in higher than the jawbone implants. That means no healing time unlike with conventional implants. You leave with a full set of implant/dentures. They had a demonstration surgery at a local excellent surgery center. There might be surgeons looking for demonstration patients, who get the surgery free. Also, if you live near a dental school, they have low cost clinics for oral surgery and regular dental care, and they are very well supervised, and cost is very low. The health issues with infected teeth and gums are life-threatening, and so many of the poundticipants seem to have dental issues. I more people had access to good dental care, but so many don't. There's also the fear factor too. The size of the patients is also a barrier too. Many are so limited in mobility. However, look how mobile Rose became with weight loss and diet change. I hope she had successful treatment for her breathing issues from the final scenes too. I'm hoping for a wonderful update on her.

So, it started with Lume saying everywhere stinks on women, now extended to men. Now, Dove, Secret, and Old Spice are telling us we stink all over? I can't believe people are expected to use deodorant all over.

There have been some great episodes with successes this year. Delana, Krystal S., Abi, and now Rose. Which is unusual compared to the last few seasons which made filming virtually impossible. So, the producers showed anyone who would film apparently. And surgery was not happening then either most of the time.

Most places I've heard of have limited visiting hours, because it takes a lot of staff time to screen and handle visitors, limited space for visits, and so visits have a number of hours per month in federal prisons.

I'm so glad you could see the episode, mine was 'eclipsed'.

So, Petit Fours in the preheat. Kate's might have tasted good, but the sides are bare. Steven's looked like teeth at first glance, but apparently tasted wonderful. Alex did an outstanding job. Robert's looked icky, and the berry seeds were a big mistake. Rochelle's aren't a great decorating job. I love the wreaths, none of the May poles looks that great, but I don't like that part of the challenge anyway. Nickie's piping flowers for the first time was amazing. I would have piced Robert's wreath for the win. But congratulations to Kate on her win, she produced an interesting wreath, not an especially attractive one though. I just saw an ad for "Next Baking Master-Paris" and it looks amazing. Stephanie Boswell is so much fun, it looks like a great series.

I was so worried for her during and after the surgery. She seems like a wonderful person who had a hard life, and with such great support from her family, I hope her health has improved, and she has a long, happy life. Another thought about the dental issues, I hope Dr. Now or someone helps her find a dentist who will give her free dental services in return for publicity. I think Benji had that, and it's life changing. I grew up very middle class, had regular dental visits, but I knew so many other kids who had parents with paid dental, etc., and they never went to the dentist. Their parents though nothing was needed for baby teeth, which is wrong, especially in an area where there's no fluoride in the water. I worked with so many people through the years who never go to the dentist until something goes wrong. People simply don't realize how dangerous dental issues are to your health. It breaks my heart that Rose has to suffer with dental issues. I hoping for a great WATN about her, she's such a nice person, and really tried to do her best.

One loan was for car repairs, and the other loan was for jewelry bought by defendant, but put on plaintiff's son's credit. Defendant was also giving car insurance money to plaintiff's son, and defendant claims that cancelled out the jewelry money. JJ calls the son about the insurance/loan. and son claims defendant never prepaid the insurance. Defendant owes $185 for jewelry, and for car repair loan, $497. Plaintiffs receive a total of $682. Subletters From Hell-Plaintiff apartment landlord Ashley Gilchrist rented room to defendants, and is suing for alleged damages by defendants, Jenny Francois and Ja-Quan Bradley. Defendants say they received a notice that plaintiff owed back rent, so they stopped paying rent to the plaintiff. Defendant didn't pay for January, and moved the end of the month (they owe $1,000). There are pictures on move in, and as the defendants moved out. There is a big hole in the wall, and the defendants hung a calendar over it. I love the Chicago new episode with the woman with a $500,000 budget trying to find a home that her daughters will love to come back to visit in. $480,000. Three bedrooms, and lacking storage. The first house that's 125 years-old, but totally redone is spectacular. The second home is in the neighborhood of Barack Obama, pre-presidency. This house is 1890's and is virtually gutted, and still $499,000. It needs a lot of work, and a much bigger deck. Basement is nice, needs some finishes though. Second floor is an odd layout. At least it's 4 bedrooms. Primary bedroom is huge, third floor is needing a lot of work, and realtor suggests that would be the house hunter's future main suite. Realtor says after reno is complete, that the house would be worth almost $2 million. The homebuyer has such great taste in clothes, I bet that would carry over to remodeling this house. It could be a super investment for her. She would only have to fix the second floor bathroom, and finish the kitchen for now, and do the basement stair fix. Then, do the third floor finishes while she lives in the existing main bathroom. second floor needs a deck, but until then, secure that door to nowhere better. Third house 4 bed 3.5 bath new build. It's super modern. $475,000. I love the floors, coat closet (so few houses have this), but the location is an huge issue. 2 car detached garage, nice deck and yard. Basement is great with a beverage/wine center. Closets are huge, primary bedroom is gorgeous, and so are the rooms for the kids. I don't like the flat roof. She buys #1, with the good location, and great neighborhood. I have to say that the women on this episode have such great taste in clothes. I love everything all three of them are wearing. I really love the house hunter's lovely dress in the opening scene.

How amazing, five women champions. I love Jet Tila, and hope someday he wins. But this is an amazing competition with so many competitive chefs, and many happen to be women. Congratulations to every chef who competed, and Antonia and Maneet who had a thrilling finale. Congratulations to TOC Champion Season 5 Maneet. A great finale.

Remember the couple in Florida, it was quite a few years ado. He was an attorney, and they were looking for a true mansion, for the two of them and their son that they mentioned in virtually every sentence. I don't remember the kid's name, maybe Preston. The house was so big you would need a map to find your way around. (Preston Barrington III, thanks for remembering that Bastet)

New tonight, "Welcome to Laurel", From Titan TV: Ben and Erin help the Laurel Housing Authority convert a historic building into the town's first visitor's center, while also taking on the restoration of a 1930-1940 public housing project, Beacon Homes opened in 1938. . Laurel has 1600 new businesses in the last seven years, and 200,000 visitors a year. Michael the architect who owns Zeus, and the head of the housing authority want to transform the original housing project in Laurel, from the ealy 1940's into a visitors center. Except for the one building Ben and Erin are transforming, the rest of the public housing was demolished and replaced with modernized housing. There will be a restored roof and porticos, and the entrance will be off the back parking lot. There will be one unit that looks like the original housing for historical purposes. One end housing unit will be the exhibit, and thre rest of the building will be transformed to historical exhibits, bathrooms, and the visitor center. They have original plans for the unit that will be a time capsule of the original apartments. Rodney, the owner of Lott furniture is donating a 1940's radio, some bedroom furniture, and Erin will source a dining table, sofa, and main bed. Erin and Amanda, the designer, are on the local radio station asking for donations of late 30's and early 40's furnishings and decor for the apartment. A moving company donates an original fridge. The front doors will have copper awnings. Ben will use the original blueprints to recreate the minimal amount of kitchen cabinets they had in the 40's. People are donating items, a still working 80 year old stove. A woman who lived in the housing her entire life is donating items too. Miss Mildred lived in the projects for 53 years, and she's donating some lovely dishes and kettle, It's amazing how few cabinets and room space people lived in then. The bathroom only had a tub, not a shower attachment. A local artist is painting miniatures of the murals around Laurel on the fence. Leontyne Price and Ralph Boston, both raised in Laurel will be honored also at the museum. There is a community center doing a mosaic for the visitors center, the community is participating. The bathroom plumbing won't be connected to water, and there is no toilet in the bathroom (so no one will use it). I love the photos and furnishings. I love the mosaic mural. What a wonderful addition to the town, produced by the townspeople. I love hearing from people who moved into the projects, and how great it was to move into a home with hot water, and a clean well-built place to live. I love the furnishings, with the inlaid wood on the dressers. I love hearing people like the Mayor who grew up in the projects.

I bet the NDA for the show is just as ironclad as every other TV show. Romy probably can't discuss it.

On tonights episode, the third of the Triple Play videos shows a man who claims there's something funny about the automatic transmission. It's a Kia Soul, and if you put it in Sport mode, you can shift it kind of like a manual. Maybe if he wasn't so impaired, he would notice the "Sport" mode light on the dashboard.

I think the goggles company will have a major surge in demand when they do the adult size goggles. I know so many adults who use goggles, for lap swimming, water aerobics, or playing in the pool.

I saw the commercial and bought one too. They do have it on Amazon.

It took Dawn five years to build and manufacture this product. She owns 72% of the company after the convertible notes are paid off. Kevin drops out, in favor of a Shark with hair. Robert drops out too. Lori has a conflict of interest, and drops out. Mark has great advice to sell the styler, to let the pods be a sponsored item later. Emma is interested, but says the styling tool is the star, not the pods. Emma makes an offer, with Mark, for $150,000 for 20%. Emma and Mark make the deal for $150,000 for 15%, and 5% advisory shares. I’m so happy for her, and think she should stay at $400, it’s equivalent to Dyson hair dryers and stylers. There is an article claiming to explain the Tom C. remark about David opting out. It really doesn't explain anything, but simply says 'opted out' in a different way. So, I'm guessing we'll never know the exact way it happened. Tom did say that cheftestants are all offered the option of LCK, so I'm thinking it all happened the way we guessed, David refused to compete any more. I think Soo would have easily beaten David anyway.

I remember on last season's international edition, the chefs who were from other countries said that their version of Top Chef was very different, so I think it takes a while to get used to the way the U.S. competition is operated.

I thought it was bizarre that so many do croquettes too. When I think of cheese dishes, croquettes don't come to mind.

Rose's Journey Supersized edition is on tonight 7 to 9 p.m. I love how supportive her family is. I'm not surprised she apparently has no teeth, many people grew up without dental care. (Where I live there is a huge medical surgical center, they had a guest surgeon do an operation that may make conventional denture implants obsolete. They use a general anesthetic, and put the anchors higher than the jawbone, and there is no healing time, and bone loss doesn't matter. You leave the surgical center with implants done, and your first dentures in place. Maybe a dental school would take Rose on as a demonstration patient for something like this.) Her attitude is so refreshing, tells it like it is, takes responsibility, and really tries. Look at her at the first weigh-in, she's determined to change.
