  1. So, Thor is now Patrick.

After seven years bedbound, he's making a lot of progress.

He's still making progress.   I hope he's a success story, and there's a follow up.

  2. I've known friends who had the 'unfreeze' procedure, under general anesthetic, to break the scar tissue.

He can do this, he better not let himself down

Down to 477, down 250 lbs.   130 more to his goal.

Wow - those are huge! I had something similar (but a lot less bulky) when I had gallbladder surgery last year. They cycle on and off and once I was in my room and more awake, I got them to take them off.

Last year when I had my DaVinci gallbladder surgery, they used those leg things on me.    And when the nurse took me for walkies around the hallway, the CEO was telling me I could do it, and he was right!  (He's a lifelong friend of my lovely neighbors who were so kind to me when I had surgery.)

Abi also had some crud behind his right knee when Dr. Now was looking at his mobility.

Abi's looking smaller, but Brenda isn't.  Brenda looks so much like Abi's mother.

  4. I'm glad someone took that awful looking bag away.

I bet Dr. Now will be bringing in specialists in paralysis, and someone with a specialty in wound care for those giant, infected sores.

So, over 700 to start, and down over 100 lbs to just over 600 lbs.

    Those sores are horrific.

  5. So, Dr. Now sent a medical transport for him.   I bet a hospitalization is in his future.

Wow!  Moving him to the stretcher was a struggle.

    I hope he's under 700 lbs., but I'm afraid he's more.

  6. Dr. Now housecall to Abi, with Thor the physical therapist.   When Dr. Now sees the bedsores, he's going to be appalled.

Abi's really trying, and so is Brenda.  Abi's lost so much muscle mass, and strength.  He has so much infection.  Dr. Now and the therapist are being so kind.

The wife- is that a tattoo or a birthmark on her neck? It looks like lips.

It's a tattoo of lips, very popular.

Abi does something about refinancing cars I think.

  8. Abi.

Age 37. from Austin TX.  Brenda is his enabler. Actually his breakfast is smaller than some poundticipants.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, overate even as a little kid.    Not overweight until 14. Really ballooned in post high school training. Lost weight through ballet, and working out.   Other driver hit his car, and he had spinal injuries.  He eventually could move his legs.  Brenda and Abi married after the accident. After Hurricane Maria, he was able to move to Austin.  Brenda works outside the home, and Abi works from home. He wants to lose enough weight to get a further spinal surgery, and he can start rehab and possibly walk again.  He's only left the apartment once since moving to Austin.   His sister Miriam lives in Austin, and helps Brenda take care of his huge bed sores.

I hope this is a success story, but I'm so afraid for him.

    Eye Want Justice

    New, Season 10, Episode

(Kerri Lewis vs. Jo Ann Ferris)

From the show site: Would you undergo a painful eyeliner tattoo if it saved you twenty minutes every morning for the rest of your life? The plaintiff thought it was worth it.

So for her first tattoo (no it's not, she had her eyebrows done before this), plaintiff wanted her eyeliner tattooed on?  Plaintiff wants $5,000 to have the service refunded, get the procedure redone, and pain and suffering.  Defendant says her policy is no-refunds, no guarantees, and she has 30 years of experience.  Plaintiff took a photo of her preferred eyeliner style, and claims when she was finished with the tattoo she had 3 dots lower down, and a big blob too.   Plaintiff did her eyebrows first, so eyeliner was her

Sandra Lorene, who redid the tattoo, is plaintiff's witness, she has 20 years experience, and says defendant was careless, unsanitary, had shaky hands, and interfered with the water glands.

Tewolde says her eyes are watering from hearing about the tattoo, and mine are too.

Plaintiff claims the consent form isn't the one she signed, and claims it's copied, and whited out, but plaintiff signed it over the whited out portion. Then plaintiff finally admits she signed the form.

Corriero talks to Sandra, the witness, who says the procedure was botched, and gross negligence.

Defendant brings up that plaintiff's expert witness no longer is in business, and no longer licensed.

Tewolde says defendant isn't credible.  Juarez says neither litigant is credible.

    Plaintiff receives a refund $820.

Awesome!  I couldn't read the article, because I don't subscribe, but, so happy to hear that they are still together.  Thank you so much CrazyinAlabama for sharing the information.

I'm not a subscriber either, but it let me read it.   It just talked about how they bought the townhouse.    I was thrilled to see they're still in business, and have the Frederick and Charleston salons.     And they're still together, i bet a lot of house hunters can't say that.

  11. I still believe that the winners are picked for the couple that need more viewers for their show.   The real test is what the houses sell for, not what some appraiser or real estate agent says is the 'winner'.   That sale price doesn't include the fact that the houses are sold empty, (at least they have been in previous seasons) and how much work has to be done to make the house appeal for the largest part of the buying pool.

These houses are obviously being built for short term/vacation rental.    I doubt any buyer will do their own cleaning, it will be the cleaning crew from the property managers.

    Motor Homeless

    New, Season 10, Episode

    (Stacy Dillon  vs. Bobbie Burcham)

From the show site: A woman called the police when she found someone inside her RV at 4AM.

Plaintiff was planning to sell RV to defendant's boyfriend, who since died, and claims defendant stole the RV.    Defendant claims her boyfriend's Denali was going to be traded for the RV.   Plaintiff paid $2800 to get the motorcycle out of impound, but her mechanic said the motorcycle wasn't worth what was paid to get it out of impound.   Motorhome is an old model, which can no longer be parked in an RV park (anything over 10 years old can't be parked in the big RV national chain parks, not insurable for their risk).

Plaintiff claims the evidence defendant submitted with plaintiff’s signature on it  is a forgery.  Defendant says DMV and police thought the transfer document was legit.    The court has multiple samples of plaintiff's signature, so the judges will decide if it's legitimate.     Plaintiff says after the trade was cancelled, that she agreed with defendant's boyfriend to fix the motorcycle up, sell it, and reimburse plaintiff for her costs, and split the profits.    Plaintiff's witness, John Norris, witnessed the defendant and boyfriend breaking into the motorhome twice, and police made plaintiff give the keys to defendants when they saw the document.

Judges compare the signatures they have to the document police accepted, and judges agree the signature doesn't look like the plaintiff's signature.

Jorge Bustamante is defendant's witness, who helped defendant and boyfriend move into the RV.  Defendant claims they would become owners of the RV, and she was waiting for more documents, and DMV accepted it.   RV is now in impound, because supposedly someone took it on a joy ride, and then was found abandoned, and impounded.

Corriero, as usual, takes defendant's side, in spite of the obvious forgery of the document.   Boyfriend was using the RV during the day for business.  So, where did defendant get the key.  The apartment complex doesn't allow overnight used of RV's, but the defendants used it that way.   I disagree with Corriero (as usual), DMV isn't the decider on some possibly forged document, without any other paperwork about a Bill of Sale, or transfer doucment that's notorized.

Juarez says both stories are fishy.  Tewolde says the document signature is forged.   Corriero says nullify the trade or sale, and have plaintiff get the RV back.  However, that means plaintiff will have to pay thousands to get the RV out of impound to sell it.

The judges agree plaintiff didn't prove the RV was stolen.    Plaintiff cliams dismissed.  No money to plaintiff. Plaintiff can get the vehicle back if she wants to pay the impound fees.

  13. I thought it was outrageous that the twin's overdone, not facing the water, mishmash of an outdoor space won.    I guess viewer numbers for their show must be down.     There seems to be a connection between viewer numbers for a show, and wins for the weeks on this show.

The judges point out that the twins space wasn't facing the water, and then rave about screens that could be put on any other home in a couple of hours.   As other posters pointed out, the screens were tight, so bugs will go through the gaps, and it does nothing to get rid of bugs already under the covered porch area.

I thought the landscaping for the twins' house was way overdone too.   In bad weather, their back yard will end up in the pool, and on the back covered patio.

I loved what Evan and Keith did.   The Baeumlers' looked like their usual hotel style.   Page and Mitch's looked amazing too.

  14. Anna's doughnut doesn't look appealing when they cut it open.  I love the outside though.   There are some lovely looking Holi doughnuts with so many cute colors.  Alex's isn't attractive, or up to his usual standards.  I like how they're picking partners instead of letting one person pair everyone up.

Some of the elephant cakes were spectacular, but the one that Sabrina and Katelyn did was awful, Sabrina had too little time to do a good job with her part of the elephant cake, and it showed. .  I loved Steven and Anna's cake.  Rochelle and Alex did a great job too.  Nicky and Robert did a lovely cake too.   Sabrina and Katelyn's was such a failure.   It looked like Sabrina's elephant head was way too heavy to stay in place.

The elephant cake challenge is another reason I don't like the team challenges, this time it was easy to see who screwed up, but it isn't always that clear.

    "Wedding Faux-tographer"

    New, Season 10, Episode

     (Maria DeCasas vs. Esequiel Cortez)

From the show site: A bride is distraught over a wedding video with poor audio, shaky camera work, and missing moments.

Plaintiff bride hired defendant/photographer to capture the moments of her wedding day.   She's suing for $5,000.    Defendant says on the day of the wedding bride told him the ceremony was moved up an hour, and this screwed up his scheduling of photos and video.  Contract was 10 hours of video and photo coverage, drone footage, IG video clip.   Photographer hired the video team, and right before wedding was to start, ceremoney was moved back an hour.

To me a big issues is bride demanded that no one would communicate to her on the day of the wedding.  Maid of Honor Norma was the appointed point of contact.     Defendant says he didn't have adequate time to set up audio equipment because of the time change.   Defendant says the video is a rough cut that plaintiff demanded, and he told her that the final, edited and corrected video wasn't ready.    The final video for Instagram looks lovely.

The drone didn't work out, it malfunctioned.  Defendant says he offered refunds, and only gave the rough cut when plaintiff demanded it.  Defendant isn't the videographer, so I think the videographer should be in court and not defendant.

Wedding started at 3:00, but defendant claims he was told it would start at 2:30.     The full video was online, but plaintiff complained about it, so defendant took the link down.   The ceremony video was 30 minutes.  Bride didn't like the video.     I don't see why defendant is being hammered for the video, it wasn't his job, but the videographer.

Bride refuses to look at the photos or videos, to tell defendant what to reedit, and wants $4,000 for redoing the photo and videos, and $4,500 for drone redo.

Tewolde says defendant screwed up.  The other judges agree, and the problem is how much money to give back.

Plaintiff receives $3,000.  Plus, defendant will give plaintiff everything he has to plaintiff.

I just looked at my guide (Verizon Fios in DC Metro area) and there is no new episode listed for tonight ... ??? It lists the Earth Day / bug-inspired episode, and one from 2021 with Ali Khan hosting, but that's it. Anyone else not seeing a new episode listed?

Just looked at the FN website and they do have a new episode listed for 8:00pm eastern time. I'm hoping the descriptions are just messed up and they are indeed showing a new episode. ???

FN and Titan TV both list a new episode, from 7 to 8 Central time.

I've noticed that either the data isn't sent correctly or on time, so the websites default to loading past information, or someone at the channel uploaded the wrong information.  I've noticed a lack of episode information during holiday periods, and it's Spring Break a lot of places.

  17. The cousin who adopted her is the woman who was at the trailer with the daughter and her baby.    The bio mother was the one in the cheap wig and scarecrow hat saying because of Covid, she couldn't drive the minivan to Houston.   Uncle Danny is Delana's brother, who raised the daughter from age 12, when daughter moved away from her mother, Delana.

I think the grandmother had custody of Delana when the bio mother, Sharon (maybe Sharon?) kidnapped and kept Delana for a year, before dropping her back off with the grandmother.  Cousin then took back guardianship of Delana, and Delana's mother wasn't around until Delana was about 18.   Delana called the cousin Mom, and I think the daughter considers her the real grandmother, not the bio grandmother.

I watched the regular episode, and Supersized edition, and that's the only way I could figure out who was who.   I hope I got all of that right.   It was very confusing, and with the amount of information in the original episode, it was even more complicated hearing it for the first time.
