I'm a classically trained musician so watching CMT has been, shall we say, an eye opener for me. I actually enjoyed Kellie Pickler's guest stint & will never forget Kelli & Judy gleefully dancing around in the cowboy boots Kacey brought them. I agree with everything else you said too.

Yes indeed. It's all very subjective but I think the difference here is that Nicole's extra pop was attention grabbing in a good way whereas Gina's 'ornamentations' can be distracting in a bad way. They make it look like either she is off or the girls around her are off.

Absolutely! I love Sun Valley any time of year (hubby I honeymooned there) but this shot is particularly gorgeous!

I could see Gina having no problem being a dancer in a Broadway show or being a Rockette, or at the very least getting down to the final audition. She's just that good. This aspect of Gina's dancing has been discussed in the past by other posters. This is why she will probably never be point.

I don't recall Tess' personality type from Season 13 but I do remember that Maddie is 'The Dictator'. She will lay down the law! It probably also helps that she is a nanny and used to working with children. :)

We danced on Astroturf in my college stadium which was easy to turn on but was almost too slippery. When we traveled to an away game with a real grass field the heel of my boot got caught in the turf while turning during rehearsal and I went down in a heap. I sprained my ankle pretty badly & didn't get to perform during halftime. :(

Our stuffed animal sheep dog is a HUGE Cleveland Browns fan because of the Dawg Pound. It's a VERY long and complicated story! :)

Except for Tasha although she did appear to be talking future babies and not actual pregnancy announcement.

I just found out my husband may have met Kelli (Finglass) on a USO tour in 1988! He was serving in Korea at the time (this was long before I met him) and even though he's a Miami Dolphins fan he appreciated the DCC coming to visit. He took a picture with a gal from Texas and had a nice long chat with a cheerleader from Utah because he's from Wyoming. I pulled up a squad photo & there was Kelli front and center. He was still able to recognize both of the girls he talked with but doesn't remember if he met Kelli or not. Still...……….

I've been watching Gilligan's Island reruns this summer and Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) reminds me of Maddie too. My Mom's name is also Mary Ann (named for her two grandmothers) but she was a tall, cool, elegant blonde, much more like Ginger than Mary Ann on the show! :)

I like her even more now that I see she's a southpaw!

I'm a total Tab-aholic and I always seem to be guzzling a can of the stuff on my way into church (or sitting on my front porch swing, or at my desk or anywhere else for that matter) so a neighbor christened me Sister Tab. As to your earlier reference, unless James Charles is Jim Lehrer I'm clueless!

The "You better be dead" mugs is one of our hot ticket items come pledge drive time. :)

I was re-watching this episode & when Victoria said, "Everything's bigger in Texas" it finally hit me who VK reminds me of. I have a dear friend who was born & raised in Texas. She's blonde, has the same outsized personality & they look like they could be sisters. I might have seen it earlier if my friend hadn't cut off her Texas sized locks. :)
