I just learnt that today is "Fertility Day", advertised by banners that read slogans like "Young Parents. The best way to be creative", "Hurry up! Don't wait for the stork!", "Beauty is ageless but fertility isn't". The hell?

Last night I went to see a ballet Gala with Roberto Bolle. It's something he does every summer in Rome, a few etoiles get together and perform pieces of various ballets. My friend and I discussed what best to do in case of an attack. What a fun time to be alive.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry is the first title that sprang to mind. I really like the Spanish author Javier Marias. The Daniel Pennac's Malaussene series is a light and fun read and you don't necessarily have to read the books in chronological order. The main character's profession is "the scapegoat".
