  1. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TWINS! TWIN WIN! I know this show is not realistic, but living near the Twin's work base, I have always liked their work. Hoping to hire them for my kitchen family room remodel someday.
  2. I really liked the Royal Oak, Michigan episode. She probably is a mom substitute, but good on them, they look like they have a lot of fun together. Hope he finds his perfect match, but if not, he has a loyal and fun friend.
  3. It was way too flipper modern for me, but, the best choice for her.
  4. Indeed. I didn't quite figure out how the bought out couple didn't understand the whole situation. Looked like that house was in disastrous shape, and why didn't an inspector see most of those problems? The bought out couple were the most fortunate in this situation. I am very happy they were able to salvage the friendship, 6 months isn't too bad for that situation, and now both will have a home on the island. Very happy for all of them.
  5. I was so happy that the NZ lover got the beach. I think that the kids and wife will love it too. Costa Rica chick was crazy, and her earrings looked like plastic fishing lures, the squid like ones. Yuck, haha. London to Netherlands family chose the right home. But, did we see all of the bedrooms?
  6. Anyone else watching Lakefront Empire? The new HGTV show?
  7. Ricardo was entertaining. His knife work showed he isn't a chef. His wording took a bit to understand. To each their own.
  8. Awesome! I couldn't read the article, because I don't subscribe, but, so happy to hear that they are still together. Thank you so much CrazyinAlabama for sharing the information.
  9. There were the couple who were hairdressers and dating, she bought a small place for herself, then they got married and had a baby and bought a place, then they bought a get away place in Charleston I think, plus they had a cute little Chihuahua. That was several years ago, I often wonder what happened to them.
  10. Praying for more episodes! I agree, I cannot believe that house is Jeff's forever house. It really seemed like a very nice Mansion from back in the day, that has been stripped down to blah. Even with the historical society being on top of it. Sorry guys, you should have been around when the place was grand, because Jeff got it after the nice features were stripped out.
  11. I miss the good old days of TWOP. Or was it TWOT? Tears or pain is the question. Are there other places like that? I am not going to turn anyone in for questioning older couples with no kids in the house buying a huge house. We did just that, and we simply and really wanted to host more indoor parties for our family, and I wanted to showcase my antique collections in a huge 4000 sq ft house, not a 1200 sq ft mid century rambler on lots of acreage with a barn. We were too old to take care of all the care the property required. And we simply wanted acreage inside the house, not outside. We also lived in the smaller home so that our children had lots of room to roam, and all the farm pets they could desire, and care for. So, that is a reasonable reply to why older people don't mind having a large un kidded home. Also now out of town relatives may stay with us and not a hotel, and some of our children have had to come stay with us after divorce, or change of jobs and apts. It really has worked out very well.
  12. I will have to see this. He was my favourite when the Stones first started. I saw him live in 1966 and 1967. The whole revelation of his mysterious death is newsworthy.
  13. The excop and techie to Cabo was kind of sad to me to be honest. They must have never had any children, and didn't seem to have any family or friends. I never heard them say anything about, oh when our friends come down...the inlaws would love this. I can only imagine because of her work, they didn't mention anyone else to protect them, but, the show isn't mandatory. Added...not even a pet. Just odd.
  14. I wish I could get Mr Pine to watch with me. We do watch Project Runway together. He is very mechanical minded,so he likes to see the challenge and the results. With Tim and Heidi in their own show, we have more to watch.
  15. Isn't this the same 5th Avenue that HHI guy with a wife and kids wanted to live on, so that he could do street filming? Maybe he wiill catch Shawna walking around town. I didn't understand street filming until my husband showed me all the YouTube videos of people who make it seem like you are actually walking through say, the streets of London at Christmas. It is an interesting concept, but, how do you make money doing it?
  16. The very first couple are supposed to be Brad and Angelina.
  17. So surprised at how great Jeana Keough looked. They didn't mention that Melonie's date was also murdered with his new girlfriend, and no convictions.
  18. She was thinking about all the free labour, and a companion to snap at and correct. At least that is how I took it.
  19. Kim W;s group had to win. These battle shows are entertaining, but, contrived a lot. Kim W is not a very good leader, they got the best view, but the smallest cabin it looks like. I hope the guys win, they have done a pretty good job, except that last 48 hour bedroom. The huge photograph, really darkened the room. JMHO of course.
  20. Isn't this like the flat that Bridget Jones had? Set ups like this were rather common when I lived in England back in the 1970's.
  21. I do too! My big oven is storage for pots and pans. Breville Smart Oven with Air Fry has been our daily oven for a few years now.
  22. I finished the 6 episode series. Started out better than AUS, but not much, then 3 in it became better, and finished okay. I would hope that next season, they try to find people who are not so emotional, nor bringing up they are autistic a dozen times an episode. And maybe a little more bush crafty, or at least watch past USA episodes. The cothing designer girl was wow on her cabin building. Kudos to her.
  23. I have watched episode 1 thus far. I asked my old neighbor in the UK, and she didn't know anything about it. I should tell her to watch the 100 Day Alone to see what it is all about.
  24. So sad regarding the Olive trees. A friend just had her front redone, to the tune of $350,000.00, and the designer wanted to put in a $50K olive tree, and she refused it. Glad to see that she didn't get it, as those died. Her area was much smaller than Jeff's, with no driveway or entry ponds, but it is terraced. I can just imagine what Jeff charged. I was honoured to be asked to consult and sign off on the design. What are friends for :) Hope that Andrew is continuing his remission.
  25. You will have to come back on here, and please fill us in on everything! Like, are they coming back on tv? Are they open for guests?
