I hope there will be more information on this at some point. Once the Brown kids became adults they are free to spill the beans. However, I’m not much on cryptic conversations, why not just say what exactly transpired, if Meri was abusive, then they should just describe the abuse. By not elaborating it just leaves the whole matter up for speculation and gossip. I believe the kids but there needs to be more in-depth explanations about it. Meri is not a likable person. I liked the way the family therapist described it as her seeing things as black or white, that she didn’t know she was being too aggressive and abrasive…yeah, that is putting it soooo nicely.

Your right, the Rice Krispies treat was an anniversary gift, and yes the paintings were very thoughtful and symbolic, but really? He was so touched by a gesture he couldn’t remember what the occasion was, he couldn’t remember the paintings when asked? I’m sure Meri is hell to live with, especially with the other wives, Christine and Janelle are much more personable, can be light hearted and have a zest for life. Meri, like Robyn, is miserable most of the time, which may be why they get along. Well, there you have it, my armchair psychology, for what it’s worth. I do think living with a nutcase like Kody would drive anybody nuts.

Well, if they did say something to Queen Robyn, she’d just go on about how she wanted to be a close family, and of course cry a river.. Also Robyn commented in a solo clip that she didn’t know why Kody was mentioning her name when he said he expected his sons to apologize to him and Robyn, she asked why he was mentioning her name…hmmm Sobbyn you didn’t bring that up during the discussion in front of Janelle, now did you?

This is so damn sad, I’m glad Christine and Janelle’s children have their mothers and each other. Seeing Gabriel break down really touched me, it was heartbreaking.. apparently he hasn’t spoken to his father since. I want to see Christine and Janelle succeed, they deserve it. I just binge watched the previous seasons, and I thought ‘where did things go off the rail?’ It was Kody, the narcissist, his ‘queen’ Robyn and Meri.. yeah a hot mess. I think Meri’s toxic too. I am so glad Christine and Janelle were able to cut their losses and get out of that hell. I want to watch the show just to see Kody, Robyn and even Meri get what they deserve. Here are some things I never want to come out of Kody’s stupid mouth again: ‘I love her, but I’m not in love with her’ ‘betrayal’ and ‘respect’ it’s all scripted by him. He is such a jerk, he doesn’t know that he doesn’t deserve Christine, Janelle, or any of their fantastic kids. He is ridiculous, I don’t believe a word he says, he contradicts himself constantly, and just outright lies. I guess now he is trying to win public support. The trailer for next week he said he was on the cusp of reconciling with Meri, but then Christine left..so mow he blames Christine for his problems with Meri???!!!??? Gawd, I know I’m rambling abit here but that idiot infuriates me!

Hi all, I rarely post on forums but felt compelled to add my 2 cents here. I watched this show early on, then lost interest. Then fast forward years I saw a trailer about season 17, with Christine saying she’s done, now that got me! So I went back and tried to catch up, I must say that was the most brilliant shut down I’ve ever seen. I was in awe, every outlandish thing he said that would’ve sent me into a rage, she just stayed the course, didn’t deviate from her message to him, stayed calm and didn’t allow herself to be sidetracked, by him. Nice job Christine,! Meri, Janelle and Christine were marginalized after Robyn came into the picture. I don’t feel as harshly about Robyn as others, because I think she’s being judged for Kody’s behavior, but then I thought he was an okay guy at one time, Christine called him out on his bullsh*t, he got nowhere with her., and Janelle says she’s got what she needs. From what I see, the worst of his wrath is directed at Meri., he’s said horrible things to her, just a few that I remember was when she said the door was open to him, he said ‘it may be open but I’m not going through it’ and when he told Christine ‘you have it better than Meri(not per vatim but close enough) and when asked by TLC that he seldom talks to Meri,, and that’s just some of it. The catfishing was hurtful I’m sure, but she was obviously desperately lonely and it was all online, just not the same as an affair. I’m not a big fan of Meri, but nobody deserves to be treated that badly by anybody. How he interjects that Meri has a friend in him, really??? with friends like that honey who needs enemies. He’s made it clear that he wants her gone. I’d rather go run the B & B than just be that’s her ‘family’ I must say despite my dislike for some of her decisions ie: she doesn’t need a big house, that was unreasonable, but nobody deserves his disdain directed at her. I hope Mary’s next to leave, probably not, but she should take a clue from Christine.
