Well they crammed a lot into that one, wanna find Anne's damning evidence, no problem just look in a cats ass, the slight problem of dealing with 2,500 red band CRM, Bada Bing Bada Boom what problem. That reminded me of the rushed end to 'Thrones', they could easily stretched that into two shows, especially as that's the last we'll be seeing of them. They could have made more of the grand family reunion of not so little Judith and RJ, but to me that was no bad thing. Even though it carried over the bad points of the previous three episodes I quite enjoyed it, probably knowing it was the last played a part in that. All's well that ends well, now more Maggie and Daryl to look forward to 😁

Who ever said there's no way they could wrap it up in one episode?

It was good to see the Mad Monk once again, it seems such a long time ago. Seeing Jadis getting her comeuppance was enjoyable, as could the whole episode have been, but once again the ridiculous moments of happenstance just spoiled it for me. Its just lazy, unimaginative writing that ruins what could have been truly entertaining and believable to boot. Jadis tracks them down due to discarded noodle packets? I'm not sure if that was meant to be a joke or not 🙄 I'm rather hoping next week will be the end of things, the finale promo hints as though it may not be, we shall see. I hope they put the money into Dixon does France and a few more episodes of The Beautiful One swinging between buildings in NYC.

Maybe it's because I've never been much of a fan of Richonne, that my attention was drawn to the silliness of the episode rather than the meaningful interaction between the two. From jumping out of a helicopter and surviving with no ill effects, to somehow finding an apartment fully powered, ready to live in and temperature controlled, without any explanation as to how they got there, to the fact that the helicopter they jumped from ended up embedded in a building right opposite to their apartment, which they somehow didn't notice until several hours after they let theirselves in, was just pure nonsense. The whole building collapse scenario, coupled with the usual miraculous appearance of the "rent a mob" Walkers, the completely contrived instances of fear and danger, the chandelier scene being nonsense at its Walking Dead finest just left me despairing. I hope that the next two episodes result in the pair killing Jadis, retrieving the evidence she claimed to have left, then seeing Richonne heading off to Alex knowing it will all have a happy ending. Having seen what I have, I can fully understand why the movies were canned, this side of TWD needs to end with the finish of this series, give them a happy ending and be done with it, their story is over.

I pretty much enjoyed the first two episodes, we had to be told why Rick couldn't make it back home, we had to witness their first meeting, which was far more powerful having watched Ep2 before Ep1. Having got those important questions and answers ticked off we have Ep3. My interest in what the CRM is all about honestly outweighs my interest in "Richonne", to me they've been gone far too long, plus I was never their biggest fan. I hope the story can include the Commonwealth, for they must be aware of each other and can maybe bring a link across to some other characters, good old Morgan keeps being mentioned. The South African woman drawing a bead on Michonne was interesting and it's good to see Jadis being her ever pleasant self. Three episodes left, surely the show can't just be about "Richonne" escaping?

Can we have the ep1 & 2 discussion pages up please, Due to VPN connection problems I haven't seen ep1 yet but have managed to see ep2. All ill say is that it was nice to go into it not knowing anything that was going to happen, the first time in a long time of being surprised.

I hope they haven't spent All the money on CGI, its nice to get that "looking forward to it" feeling back again, its been a while.

One of the few good things about living in England is that it's a very short hop over to the beauty of France, it really is stunning to see, especially when the tide is in 🏰

I really enjoyed that episode, the D-Day tie in was well done as those things always get to me. The Gladiator scene was pretty cool, not quite up to the standard of Rick and Old Winslow 😂 but they're getting there, i'm glad they didn't kill the Burners when they were all chained up and defenceless, not very sporting...... What the hell's up with Tattoo? His actions were telegraphed yet nonetheless confusing. Has he seem the light? 🤔 The nest looks pretty impregnable, they'll need Bronn, ten good men and some climbing spikes 😁 The only let down was the inevitable 'Rent-A-Mob' on the beach, they still keep pulling that one out of the hat 🙄 All in all a great first season, still definitely the best visually, I hope S2 of Dead City can pick up a few things, I'm actually looking forward to the Book Of Carol, even more so than Rick & Michonne. For the season, 8.5 / 10 for me, Ep4 let the side down somewhat but the show is finally starting to be what it always could / should have been. Oh! And Land Rovers never break down 🇬🇧
