(If missing Da was English army for ex) Unless it was a way to point out that the Catholic and Protestant sides can both be illogical in many ways.

Is it just his accent? His birth city? He has an Northern Irish, presumably Catholic mother and a presumably Irish father. Or did it say somewhere that his da was English? If his ma had faffed off to Scotland for the abortion would they be calling him Scottish? Why do they take the piss out of him for English atrocities when his ancestry is the same as theirs? I feel like he would have been called Irish growing up by his peers in London with an Irish single mother and an Irish last name. I feel like historically he would have been Irish still to everyone no matter how posh he tried to be. Did I miss something? I think Kate may get a lot of focus next year because she will be the Vicountess. I know the family moved to a new house in the book but I can’t see the show doing it. So she and Violet will be negotiating a truce. I would love it if she brought her food traditions into it, or had something to say about Anthony’s parentification or sided with Eloise about her future. This will really enrich the fam scenes which are already a highlight for me.

I think all networks may be nervous now. I have at&t for local sports and I have no channels currently showing reruns. Did someone snatch up exclusive rights? I used to get it on 3 or 4 different networks.

I think the DNR stuff is repetitive, but it bugs me more that the storylines ignore the very important exhaustive criteria that are involved - in favor of making it look like people get unplugged every day when their survival is still highly possible. I work in healthcare, and for the chronically and debilitatingly Ill this is a very important decision, not a coin flip.

Why is every new romance on this show not involving gay people about coercion of some kind? Between Stefan, Mateo, Xander, Brady, and even Rafe - why are refusals from women just a temporary obstacle rather than valid objections? Why are the men so flipping creepy?????
