  1. The wiki is all over the place but the bot itself has 19 E's based on photos.
  2. Audience members had 2021 signs up too. Plus some bots were still sporting damage from the season like smeeeeeeeeeeeeee. That was an awesome episode. That last fight was bonkers. Destroyed the signage in the arena too.
  3. They bring dogs/puppies to you. My office did it once. Good for the people and good for the dogs for socializing.
  4. That was a pretty crazy first round. Talk about the ultimate come from behind victory. Was this the first whammy-less bonus round? That guy was on a roll! Now let's talk about some of these bonus prizes. Butter for life? A personal assistant? Puppy playtime for a year? Ok that one sounds fun.
  5. I still disagree. 11 spins in this game is huge especially with only 1 whammy. I do agree that getting to the bonus is the goal but it isn't guaranteed money if you get there. We've seen plenty of people whammy out. The first half is guaranteed money. He could have taken 2 or 3 spins with very little risk and still have a large amount to pass. So an aside I researched a bit on taxes for trips. Turns out a lot of trips are estimated value. After going on the trip you can get the actual retail value and try to get a lower tax on it. With how pricey those Pole trips were I bet there would be a decent chance that you get it cheaper. I'm more suspicious of the $9k value for costco hot dogs and chicken for 5 years.
  6. Honestly he lucked out. Almost the entire bank was prizes which are all taxed as income. Had he walked he would owe almost $175k. Plus not many people have 3+ weeks of vacation they can take let alone all at once. His best bet was to try and pass 500k to get the additional ~500k in cash. Would have been cool to see though and glad he gave it a shot. His first screw up was passing 11 spins when he only had $2750.
  7. The distractor was so good that no one noticed the female referee completely bite it in the background during a putt. Very fun episode.
  8. Yeah it definitly seems off this season. The volcano is an addition that doesn't work. Then the rooms seem less unique this year. Even the lava looks less cool, or should I say hot. It's thicker for sure. I'm on the last episode with it in the background. Only 5 this season.
  9. This is all I see when Buzzy is on.
  10. The name of Lt. Dan was so perfect.
  11. Since they have so many chasers they should do one special episode where 3 chasers are the contestants against 1 og chaser. Play for charity, could be fun.
  12. Exactly. The middle of the pack has the best chance of winning as the top and bottom vote against each other. My bet is Rachel or Everson winning. I agree with others that it kinda peaked at the spice girls. That seems to happen every season though.
  13. I was wondering that too. I only remember one instance where it seemed that they knew for sure it was BS because they knew the real answer.
  14. I thought I saw Steph do one bit. It was short.
  15. I really liked this series overall. Absolutely solid performances all around and I really hope the rumors are true that a season 2 is on the table. I do wonder how the Egyptian gods will play in the rest of the MCU. Will they show up in other films or series? Perhaps Blade.
  16. Glad it's back and dig the new holes. I hope they got rid of hole #2 only because they kept the popcorn hole. They are the same. Running on the rolling moon was a cool challenge. That was probably the funniest polecano yet. Reminded me of the operators for a mechanical bull. My guess with the Muppets is that they will be part of the final hole at the end of the season. It was a lot of filler though.
  17. That was my reaction too. Even questions I didn't know there was always an answer that seemed reasonable and probably easy to BS as the correct answer. I found it funny how you could tell when they guessed the right answer but still gave a bullshit reason how they knew it.
  18. Binged the whole thing. I really liked it. Just a few "hot seat" players that were annoying or just over the top, the last guy especially. The first player made me feel very anxious. Something off about him, but then we get a string of good players. The trivia is a mix. I found quite a few of the questions quite easy. I think in one round I would have made it to $250k just by answering correctly. The linear rotation of players was an interesting way of going. It did create a good way for banter between everyone. They get to spend more time with each other. Because of the format I felt bad for the final 3 spoiler players. They had no chance of being in the hot seat so they had no incentive to play accurately. I hope they get a consolation prize or will be first on season 2. Spoiler for one of the players: Best thing about this show, no sob stories or long contestant video reels. Just straight up gameplay. Howie does a great job too keeping things moving.
  19. Wow that was the cringiest thing I've seen on this show. I can't believe he did that. Honestly Anthony just casually tossing it to him didn't help either. Based on the reactions that lady was quite the performer. Maybe she talked to the guy backstage and just really felt bad for him. Going by the Beanie Baby documentary out there, the values where purposely made up out of thin air with special catalogs listing their 'value' each month. From a quick search online only a couple sold for six figures and 1 wasn't the Princess Diana one mentioned to be $100k. That one sells for $200-250. The green floppy that got its tag torn has sold for $3k. Still a lot of money and more with the other floppy bunnies as a set. Still a super dick move even if they were worth just $20. I laughed at how Joel finally commented that they didn't get it right when picking #2 as they cut to commercial. He's way too familiar with the "before you go" setup.
  20. It used to always be that the 2nd round was always the start of before you go. They only recently started mixing it up to be the 2nd or 3rd round. They should just let one of the people move into the middle spot to keep it more of a mystery.
  21. Honestly I hope they steer away from that. We have Selling Sunset if you just want to watch glamor-drama with the occasional house sale. I like when the cast lives and breaths real estate with deeper knowledge of the properties such as the history or the architecture. That's one aspect that makes Flagg a fun watch and to lesser extent Altman.
  22. It was even worse than that. It was a 150 divided by 3 question. That was a bad group. I'm surprised Jane doesn't get more flack here for how slow she reads the questions. She even squeezes in a quip between answers sometimes. In The Chase forum the question reading speed gets brought up a lot and Sara Haines reads quite fast including rushing to get that last question out in time. Maybe that is the purpose though, since Jane is meant to insult (playfully) the contestants while Sara is rooting for them. Has anyone answered before she finished the question? I can't recall a time. Maybe that's too risky with how some questions are worded. Probably would get voted off quickly if you missed. With celebrity editions being all the craze, I wouldn't mind an episode of this. All I could find was a 2001 special for the US version. Just bring in the regular comedian/actors that show up on panels for every game show these days. Could be fun. Or like mentioned above, get some jeopardy champs and run the chain.
  23. Switching to another bot for a bit, I think Blip is one to watch next season. They just need to create a proper self righting mechanism. That chaotic self flipping hoping to land wheels down is what cost them the tournament. An arm similar to Tantrums would work perfectly and not interfere with their current design. Speaking of Tantrums arm, I loved when they raised it after a knockout like raising your arms in victory. Little stuff like that really gives the bots character.
  24. I didn't get it their first season either but now it actually makes sense. With spinners your biggest weakness is to have your weapon stopped. A lot of times this happens when both bots end up entangled or pushing each other. With tantrums design they can be stuck on another bot and retract the weapon to safety to allow it to spin up again then re-engage with a punch. Other bots need to separate and drive around to get time to spin back up. So the punch mechanism isn't really a factor in causing more damage, it mostly protects the weapon allowing it to still be effective.
