I think you’re right. Height could also explain why in the groups she’s not in the triangle despite being a 3rd year. Tori (2nd year) completes it because she’s so much taller than Kelcey and Claire it would throw the look off

So where is Jada positioned in group 3? She’s by far the tallest on the team with Taylor gone, unless we have some tall rookies

Random thought but how many lockers are in the locker room? The lockers are already built and the names and photos are changed so there had to be at least 37 lockers for each lady to have their own. But also enough lockers for the TCC, so how many max are there? I can’t remember if off the bat the TCC got lockers or if once it got to a certain number they were given lockers

I’m my personal opinion Ashlee is one of the better dancers on the squad. She’s got enough pop like Gina. And I see having Caroline as point after Gina just like how they went from Kashara to Amy. Amy was great but was never point worth imo, she however was like able and a great teammate and maybe Caroline is too(I think she was ROTY). I know race shouldn’t have anything to do with positions in the triangle but I’m glad Ashlee is in front triangle because representation does matter.

I don’t know but I just went back and watched the episode and with her commentary it seemed very much intentional. Unless they edited her words 🤷🏾‍♀️

I always thought Heather H threw her audition at finals. Like she said something along the lines of “I did this for a year and that was enough” then purposely messed up on her kicks

I think on the website it gots Group leaders 1-4 then Second leaders 1-4, then it’s by seniority, alphabetically. Group 1: Caroline, 2nd Chandi Group 2: Jalyn, 2nd Kat Group 3: Kelcey, 2nd Claire Group 4: Ashlee, 2nd McKenzie I thought group leaders were done by seniority except for Group leader 1? Like last years it was Lexie, Gina, Rachel W, and Caroline. So wouldn’t Ashlee be before Kelcey?

So I’m late to the party I came back like 2 weeks ago and have been catching up on all the candidates etc. But it wasn’t until the announcement came out and I saw some comments that I realized that rookie Sophy is tied to Ross Lynch, who was on some Disney channel show and is in a band. She was the Maid of Honor at his sisters wedding.

I wonder if they are still figuring out who point should be, otherwise Caroline would be point for both performances right? No need to have Kelsey be point of it’s already determined it’s Caroline’s spot. However i think it would be nice if Show group had different points so more girls get a chance to shine. Being point for Thunder is a big deal but other girls (like group leaders) could be point for other performances. PS: I think this is the first time in a while no blondes have been in the triangle or diamond so yay for the brunettes! 😂

No hate on Caroline or Kelsey but I really wanted Ashlee at point. She’s got the pop and I think a good successor to Gina. Happy to see Chandi in the triangle for at least one dance

Just a personal preference. Lexie is pretty but like Rachel W her look is so Barbie to me. If they changed up her hair color or hair style it would do wonders.

I’m not looking too much into Gina not posting she’s not as active as some of the other ladies are. She commented on a pic of Lexie an hour ago, so yay. If you go to her profile is basically 80% DCC and pics of herself. She wished Kat Happy Birthday yesterday but not Rachel W 3 days ago are we supposed to look into that? Unless VOTY is chosen by Kelli and Judy she’s well liked amongst her teammates. And personally looks wise and dance wise I’d take another Gina over another Lexie any day.

I wonder if Lexies is the first of many retirement videos to come out? I like this video clip better than a simple insta post. Also I’d love for Ashlee to come back next year as point! She’s got the pop and I think the last POC we had point was Mia back in 2013.

I don’t know a whole lot about Lea or why people don’t like her, but I love good underdog so I’m rooting for her. She seems sweet and sassy and I think if she stays for a few years she will win more people over.

Also I realize that there is only 2 points in Thunder but elsewhere like in show group performance, there is only one, which is Gina. Which guess is why 1st point is so special and is deemed THE point.

In hindsight First point is special because they start things off, set the tone and well are there first. The transition into a new point happens early in the dance (when they branch off into horizontal lines) so the 2nd point gets more performance time but still comes second so not considered the Point girl for the year?

It made me so happy to see everyone so supportive of Gina for point! Gina has come a long way from the cocky, mean girl she was portrayed as her rookie year. She’s comeback from an injury, voted VOTY, now point girl, she’s ticked all the boxes aside from Pro-Bowl 👀… I hope she retires after this year and becomes an All Star!
