  1. Well...I liked it. Especially the end with all the Starks. Now. let the madness begin!
  2. Nope you're not. *raises hand. Loved ep2 and ep5 (yeah I now, really unpopular here)
  3. Yup, exactly. In my country it's 4 AM lo. Of course there are re-runs the day after but you can bet I'm not the only one watching it live..Tonight we have a viewing party. Obviously I had to take the day off from work tomorrow. It's the final GoT night for us and frankly I feel sad. I'm gonna miss this bloody show and everything surrounding it. Even the craziness!! Unfortunately I think it will be the last appointment-tv show that people all around the globe enjoy it simultaneously. /sobs
  4. I find this petition thing childish and a sign of entitlement. But whatever if you see it as a way to releash your frustration it's ok by me, you do you. Unless you actually believe that it can work. In that case it's also stupid. But projecting your frustration or your feelings to the actors it's a big no-no for me. Sure, some of them may not like the ending or the way their characters finished their journeys. But all off them have the right to defend their work or you know, actually... love it. They spent years on this show, some of them actuall grew up in it and they view their collegues and the people working on the set as family. To imply that they say what they say only because they are afraid for their future careers is frankly disrespectful. And I do hope, if the spoilers come true that people don't harass Isaac or Kit because they are incapable to separate the actor from the performance.
  5. Maybe but we also had the build up for this supposedly huge love story during whole season 7 and tbh not for a single second I bought that they were falling in love. It was mostly other characters pointing it out. Emilia and Kit had great chemistry with other characters but unfortunately not with each other.
  6. Wasn't Dany the one who burned their food supplies in the first place? So this plan was nothing new and already in action.
  7. Well, I will check the prequels. I love these type of shows. If I continue to watch them depends on the story and the quality. I saw today that they casted for the Long Night one of my favourite British tv actors (John Simm yay!) and I'm thrilled. Plus knowing how a story eventually ends never bothered be. I looooved Rome and it was (very loosely I admit) based on historical events. I followed Spartacus until the bitter end and I don't regret it one bit. Now THAT finale was one of the best, glorious finales in tv history imo. Sooo underrated. And we all knew it was coming. It's all about the characters and the storylines for me.
  8. Yes, a scene like that would have given us a little more insight behind Jon's and Sansa's behaviour. But, I personally didn't need more explanation behind Sansa'a motives tbh they were pretty clear to me. My problem is that none of it would have solved anything. Because the reality is that Jon did screw up and Sansa was right whether we like it or not. Jon's huge, colossal mistake was that he bent the knee. Last year I was getting annoyed by the constant repetition of that phrase but in the end it was more important than I thought. Jon bent the knee but he didn't need to. And that's huge.He chose love (ughh) over honor. He chose to betray the trust his people put on his shoulders. If Dany had come to Winterfell not as a new ruler but as a powerful ally things would have been way more different. The smalfolk would have been more greatful to her. Sansa wouldn't have a reason to question Jon or Dany. Yes, she could have been snotty and such but with no excuse. And Jon himself could stand his ground in several occasions inclouding his conversations with Dany or the desicion to lead his people to another battle so soon after the WW one. But no, he had to follow his Queeeeeen blindly because he bent the knee and somehow lost any common sense in the process. This disaster is his fault as much as Dany's. Not because he told his sisters his secret or because he didn't show more tenderness towards Dany and all that stuff. But because he betrayed his people. No wonder his soldiers don't obbey him anymore. He is the Queen's puppy. And, honestly he, as a King has way more responsibility for all these than Tyrion, Varys, Sansa, and the rest. And that is what he is facing now (or he is supposed to). He f*cked up royally.
  9. Still, I don't buy this summary. I just saw their Q&A. Lots of skimming through the episode. So even if what she/he is saying is true there is info missing.
  10. Lol, this "leak" is exactly what I summarized yesterday based on what we got so far from trusted leakers with some stuff sprinkled here and there to make it sound legit. Anyone could have written it. And I still beleive there are scenes missing. So b/s.
  11. I don't think I implied in my post that Dany's genes are the only reason she is who she is.
  12. Who said anything about her father? And no, I wasn't certain but in several occassions during all these seasons I questioned her, felt really uncomfortable with her decisions and the thought of her turning "mad" crossed my mind. Obviously I'm not the only one. And yes, that was because of several signs on the show. So no, I'm not surprised or shocked about any of these. .
  13. I'm one of those people that always viewed Dany as a gray character with the possibility to turn mad, evil, call it whatever you want and I'm definitely a female, as the majority of my friends who watch the show and share the same opinion. But, as you said, everyone has different experiences and views the same things through different lenses . The writting of the show has been questionable for many seasons now, so I quess I've accepted it and moved on. Obviously I'm the minority here, but I'm enjoying the season. Well, except episode 3. That was a major turning point and the beggining for all the complaints this season gets. I thought episode 5 was exceptional /runs and hides
  14. I'm looking at the spoilers from u/afraidpart and u/throwaway5873421 to see what's left to be included in episode 6. So afik these are the major scenes left (in no particular order): - Drogon enters the throne room and melts the throne. Dany makes a speech, everyone is mad at her, Tyrion throws his pin and he is imprisoned. Jon kills Dany in the throne room. Drogon flies away with her body. (u/afraidpart) - Dany is executing everyone in King's Landing. Jon and Tyrion are upset. Tyrion tries to convince Jon that his family will never be safe because his lineage makes him a threat to Dany's rule. Jon tries to talk to Dany but she justifies her actions. Jon pledges himself to Dany but then stabs her, then surrenders himself. Formation of the council. Tyrion's speech. Jon takes the black again and leaves. Bran is the King or sth similar (u/throwaway). u/throwaway in a Q&A explained a little bit more his leaks saying that Bran is involved in Jon's decision to take the black again but he doesn't know how. Plus a bunch of other minor stuff that I'm not gonna bring here. I also noticed that a couple of u/afraidpart leaked scenes were probably cut (like a scece where a horse was cut in half). So are we going to see Drogon melting the throne? And when? I don't know. Does these seem enough for you for a 80 min episode? I think there is a part of the last episode missing. Maybe there is a Tyrion trial afterall and Dany calls all the rulers and relevant players to witness it, but Jon kills her before the execution? Maybe Jon realises that she is gonna kill Sansa too? I can see Dany at this point not killing her enemies quickly but trying to make an example out of them. It's fear after all. So Jon killing her might not be only a reaction of the KL massacre but allso the horrific things she is planning to do afterwards.
