Sorry but on what planet are VK or any of the auditionees fat? It’s getting to be exhausting and downright sad seeing the word “fat” getting thrown around here on a daily basis. None of these girls are fat or ugly or look like they’re forty. Exaggeration is running rampant.

I always thought Paige looked the worst the year that she, Veronica, and Hannah were in trouble for weight. I believe she had actually had the most weight gain at 13 pounds. She was really jiggly in the midsection and her face was noticeably puffy. I know there were rumors that she was going through her divorce so they went a little easy on her. She ended up getting back in shape, and for a while I thought she was actually dangerously skinny. I can’t comment on whether Paige looked worse than Selina did this year until I see the footage on the show. Honestly I can’t tell that Selina looked as bad as everyone is saying she did from the limited video footage and pictures we’ve seen. Not saying she wasn’t heavier than she should have been, but I just need more video/photo evidence to get a better read on it.

Surprised no one has commented on Dayton? Her solo is up four or five back on instagram. She looked clean but not spectacular to me but it’s such a small snippet. Worth mentioning her costume covers her midsection... ??‍♀️ Rachel and Erin are also up on instagram. Erin dancing to “Dirty Diana.” I’m surprised to have now seen two solos to this song (Erica a few years ago) as it doesn’t seem like an obvious choice, but it works.

Rachel looks amazing. She definitely worked hard on her figure this past year. She won’t get cut for weight unless she eats a lot of cheeseburgers before Friday.

Everyone here knows that the timing of the calendar was faked in that episode, but they did that for the sake of continuity since the average viewer doesn’t know the DCC timeline the way we do. It doesn’t change or affect the content of the episode in any way. So why does it matter exactly? Most of us still enjoyed getting to see the calendar trip, regardless of the way they broached the subject. I’d go so far as to say it’s one of my favorite episodes of the entire series.

A lot of this hoopla over Victoria seems pretty premeditated. Personally I’m not going to buy into any of the nepotism conspiracy theories and rumors about who said what until the show airs. Of course she’ll be featured because her mom is a former DCC and friends with Kelli. That much is a no brainer. Victoria IS a competent dancer. Is she the best dancer in the world? No. But I can’t side eye her getting into finals. The girl has been dancing her entire life, and imo she showed up to auditions with her figure on point. Between her and Dayton, I’d take Victoria based on figure alone. I think their dancing is pretty similar.

Loni didn’t audition. Kelly Jo Stauffacher auditioned and didn’t make it.
