Wow, Ladyrain, once again I find that you and I are kindred spirits! ITA about Joy being hyper - I hate it when she speaks at break-neck speed. I used to enjoy watching her, but no longer. And I also have really liked Jonathan Capehart for a long time. I don't think your comment about his appearance is shallow at all; I happen to share your opinion about his sharp dress. I've often mused that his mother must be very proud of him.
And to those others who have commented about Ari Melber, I used to really like him even before he had his evening program, but I have been totally turned off by his constant "musical" references. I say "musical" because hip-hop is apparently the only kind of music he knows. In addition, his "jokes" are awful! He seems to want to insert some levity here and there, but his attempts usually only baffle his panelists (and me). Note to MSNBC: I watch your network for the POLITICS, not hiip-hop references. Don't care for the "Fall Back" segments either. So I usually just watch the first part of Melber's program, then switch off as soon as he starts quoting JayZ or whoever.
